Pretty large morning rush throughout the week. Baristas handle the crowds fairly well. Nice and clean location with a lot of parking. If you're in a bind or a rush-this isn't the place to go in the mornings. Many surrounding businesses with coffee maniacs. Employees have always been nice and embodied good customer service. This is by far the BEST Starbucks I have been to in OC. Every employee is so happy and helpful. In fact today I was made aware of the Holiday drink promo... We were passing this Starbucks on our way to LA and made a pit stop here. Service was good and fast. Drinks were perfect like always and there's this really yummy yummy beautiful guy who works there. If I lived closer oh I'd be there all day everyday drooling lol. read more

On average I come here around 4 days a week. It can get a little busy, depending on what time of the day you decide to go. Despite that, the baristas do an amazing job at attending all their customers in a friendly way. I ordered travelers and pastries and picked it up 830am on the weekends. The 2 male (1 could be supervisors) baristas were rude however the young lady (cashier) were very sweet. When I asked for the used grounds, he said Starbucks don't pack it anymore and just throw them out. I wonder if that is true since isn't Starbucks environmentally conscious and asks its patrons to buy their recycle cups etc.???? I am shock Starbucks are no longer going green!!! Awesome. Hadn't had an iced green tea latte in a while and for some reason everywhere else can't make it right. Today was different and my green tea latte was made perfectly. The baristas were a little preoccupied with a customer who looked as if she was purchasing a whole lot as her tab was pretty high with gifts. She was a little indecisive but, all good. Another barista came out from the back and called me over to take my order and ring me up so I didn't have to wait. The code for the drink was written perfectly, my name was spelled right and the barista Jeremiah made my drink 'old school'. Other Starbucks make it super bad like, they think shaking it in a shaker is good or they put the powder in first. No no no horrible! But Jeremiah made it right, the liquids them the ice and topped off with that matcha green tea powder, capped and swirled by hand on a flat surface. That's what's up man! He was taught right! This drink is pricey so I don't buy it often from here but, good to know this is a well taught store! Oh and everything else is cool too, good parking, patio, inside seating and a restroom. Clean. Good volume level but, not too many outlets but, all good they have the phone charger rings in the tables. Oh and they have a clover machine for the coffee reserves! And it seems like they're always cleaning. Which is good. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. What makes my mornings pleasant is the weekday AM staff. Usually the same staff and I'm horrible for not remembering names but it's 3 gentleman and one young lady. Every morning they say "hi miranda!" And it took them like 3 visits to remember that. AMAZING. I mean who is like the most special person on the planet when you walk in and they greet you by name. I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich and it came all fancy and deconstructed -the turkey bacon was glued to the wrapper by the Gouda and outreach other component was on its own next to each other. A bit too fancy for me, I like my breakfast sandwiches easily eaten. read more

Coffee and pastries are always great but have to give it 3 stars due to the fact that parking sucks. This is my home Starbucks but I end up driving to the one by the District in Tustin because it has a larger seating area and parking is great. I live close by so this was a frequented spot of mine for coffee. I like to get the Clover and this location has had a broken machine for more than 6 months. As someone that drank it on a regular basis, it was easy to know when it wasn't made on the correct setting or the machine wasn't brewing correctly. After months and months of it being down, they are still serving coffee from this Clover machine. I've written to corporate and there has been a lack of accountability on the management to correct this recurring problem. This morning I went to get a regular americano which I've switched to since the Clover has been out. This has been the second time that I've been disappointed with even a simple americano. It was much too light in flavor and I ended up getting more coffee from somewhere else. It's a shame that it's so convenient for me to come here, but will drive to other locations/competitors for a simple cup of coffee. read more

I have not been to this Starbucks location for over six months and was surprised to see that it had been completely remodeled. The vibe is totally cool with a great outdoor patio. When I entered I was immediately greeted by one of the employees that remembered my name. I was really impressed and that is why I decided to leave a review of this location. Hands down the best Starbucks in Irvine. The crew working here is always pleasant and cheerful and greet you with a smile. I have been coming here for awhile and almost always order the same thing. I love this Starbucks! It does get crazy busy in the morning but they are usually on their game and it goes pretty quick. They must mandate that employees have an IV of coffee before 6 am! I went in today for my usual Starbucks drink: venti iced coffee with almond milk quad shot . Upon waiting for my drink I noticed the barista left half of the venti cup with the almond milk and poured the shots over the almond milk It was given to me like that and I ask her if that was too much milk since my drink always looks pretty dark due to the shots . I took a sip and it tasted just like almond milk and. I sweetener at all . Mind you I never mind pay extra for sweetener or almond milk . I work 12 hour shifts and all I ask is for my coffee to be made right. I understand it was only her as a barista but she was making the drink with an attitude because I asked if she can re-make it, I asked her kindly if she can just re-do it and she proceeded to re-make it and she ended up putting a lot of ice in the cup on purpose and only to have the coffee taste again like milk. I left in such disappointment . Will not proceed to go to this Starbucks. I'd rather go to the one on Brookhurst and Hamilton by my home ! First off this store is way to busy for one bathroom. There was a line and the lady in the WC was taking forever. The guy in back of me was so mad at waiting and he was not even a customer ( said he hates the coffee). That said this was probably the most foolish mistake on an order I've ever had at SB. Ordered a tall decaf expresso coffee off the clover. I asked for it to be in a grande cup because if not there is no room to add your mylk etc. So I waited and waited for my supposedly simple drink. The lady in front of me was very irritated also as she ordered way before me. So finally they call out my drink and when I picked up the grande cup it was super light weight, like empty. I'm Thinking to myself what the heck lol. I open the lid and it's a tiny decaf expresso shot in a grande cup. I literally just started laughing. Told Mr barista what I really ordered and told the barista i'll take the shot as I was going to add it to my remade coffee. Waited another 5 minutes and finally got the drink. And before he handed it over he dumped the expresso shot down the drain. He then told me "it's too cold at this point a no good". Ok and what about those coupons I've seen where if they screw up your drink and time they hand to you? That was not even contemplated. I come to this Starbucks all the time. It's pretty good overall. The issue is that it seems to receive nothing but mobile orders. So you can walk in to an empty store, place your order, and still end up waiting for 20 minutes. Nothing against the staff, but the management really needs to figure out how to take care of in person customers or just go to 100 percent mobile orders. read more
