Many people around the world either prefer tea over coffee or enjoy both, and currently there is no convenient Nespresso solution for them. In many parts of the world, tea consumption rivals or exceeds coffee, and it feels like an untapped opportunity for Nespresso. From a customer perspective, having the same level of convenience, consistency, and quality for tea as you provide for coffee would be incredibly appealing. It would also make Nespresso machines more versatile for households with mixed preferences. I would strongly encourage your team to consider expanding into this category. I own a Nespresso and I recently found out there are Nespresso boutiques here in California. I was in Newport Beach at Fashion Island and walking around saw that Nespresso has a boutique here! Of course, I had to go in! The store is so pretty and there's a huge wall display of coffee pods. Walking in, a nice barista offered me some coffee, I took a pistachio iced coffee, so good, I had to get a box of pods. I got the pistachio flavored and peppermint pods. You can also bring your pods here to get them recycled. They also have their Nespresso machines on display. Had an awesome experience coming here! read more

Luckily, there was no line when we went, which was a bonus. Service was fast as my friend was looking to get particular sleeves. I tried a sample of their sweet almond and hibiscus, which is new and a limited edition. They gave a generous cup of the drink. Unfortunately, I don't think I liked it very much and couldn't finish it but I did appreciate the free taste. I love almonds, but I think the mix between the hibiscus wasn't working for my palate. Their staff are always super friendly and helpful, even when the store is packed on or near the holidays and weekends. I love that they offer samples of their coffees that change often so you can always try something new! This location offers Nespresso Recycling Drop Off as well as the option to pickup new recycling bags free of charge. I personally like to shop online because you can often bundle 8-10 sleeves and use a promo code for 2 free sleeves, something the store itself doesn't offer, but they will offer free samples with purchase while supplies last. read more

My once a year "must stop" when coming to Newport Coast. Located in the Fashion Island Center, the store is well stocked and customer service is great. Today they were sampling a double-espresso made with Oatmilk. Tasty but I will pass. I picked up the Cuban coffee and my regular espresso sleeve. It was such a bad experience, but I'm so glad I decided to give the store another shot. The woman helping me this second visit was able to help recommend a very delicious pod. I wasn't able to sample the flavor, but she's was spot on with describing the flavors of the pods I asked about and she let me know how most people enjoy the pod (iced, hot, and or with/without milk). I brought a Nespresso machine back in August 2024 here. Asked for a warranty plan and I was told by the lady they don't offer one but the machine (Vertuo Next) will last for years. Fast forward to November 2025, my machine died. Called their customer service and they did NOTHING. Rep tried to say I bought it back in 2022 when I asked about the 2 year warranty. I checked my receipts and it showed August 2024. Then the rep changed and said it only had a 1 year warranty. Pretty shady marketing tactic at the boutique. read more

I am a regular customer, purchasing vertuo pods. I've noticed in a couple of occasions they don't give you a sample with purchase unless you ask. Just last night I purchased 4 boxes and I asked for a sample and was told they're all out. I don't understand. Such a fun and cool experience to sample the best nespresso coffee! The store looks very new and inviting. It's next to the Macys area and there is plenty of parking outside. I walk in and had to check in for an appointment. Good thing we went early or else the line would be really long. We got to sample the new holiday line but they ran out of milk so we had to drink it black. It was better that way because you can really taste all the different flavors! I loved how easy it was to order and taste samples. I can't wait to try more! read more

I went here yesterday to buy a coffee machine; the customer service received from everyone was fantastic..... from the moment I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help then offered a coffee to try... The appearance of the store was immaculate and well presented. I'm not very good with technical things and had no clue what machine I wanted. I was helped by Harry, he was AMAZING! So helpful and patient with my 500 questions... he made sure to find what I was looking for and explained the functions in easy terms for me and I didn't feel rushed. 10/10 customer service from Harry, give that man a raise!! This is NOT a pet service store but they DO ALLOW dogs. Totally unsanitary, the other day this big dog is going around licking the tables, floors, kids, and the food. Staff is totally complicit as they complement the dog and let it lick their hands which they then touch my items. I will never ever come back to this store and support this kind of business. We frequent this Nespresso location since it's attached to Fashion Island and we LOVE this mall. This store is located on the Whole Foods side of the mall and can be hard to miss since it's not inside of the mall. The store itself is one of the nicer ones in my opinion. I checked out the Beverly Hills location recently and it wasn't as nice. Also the staff at that location seem very entitled. The staff at the Newport location is more friendly towards humans and furbabies. We came here twice this past month to pick up some coffee pods for me. We were able to do a little espresso and coffee tasting at the tasting bar. The staff at the bar were very nice and made us fresh coffee on the spot to try. It's hard to say no when it's complimentary and delicious! As for purchasing, the line isn't ever long. We've only waited for about 5 minutes max. Most days, the person ringing us up is usually very nice and helpful. They've answered our questions on which coffee or espresso to buy. On our most recent visit, the lady helping us behind the counter was not the most pleasant. She was aggressive and threw our bag on the counter. It was a bit unwarranted, but maybe she had a bad day. Nonetheless, we still love this location. They are sweet to our little pug and give us complimentary tastings, so it's great. read more

But what stood out mostly was the wonderful customer service by Megan! She made sure that I leave that store extremely satisfied! I explained I need help buying, but no one would tell me how. They were cleaning or rearranging things instead. Then I saw a huge rush come in and get hot drinks. I asked what they were doing and the cashier rudely told me, "They're samples." I asked if I could try too. She replies, "You can but they're glass mugs." I asked what that meant... she says, "You can't take it." What! Well duh what kind of ratchetness is this lol They wasted my time for 10 mins before I finally got sleeves in my hand... whole time I could have finished my beverage IN A GLASS NOT TO-GO already. Came in to buy sleeve refills and were overwhelmed with the disorder in the store. There was no clear line or signage directing you to a checkout register. We waited about 15 minutes, right in the front, making eye contact with multiple employees as they continually chose to help other customers while actively avoiding us. We were clearly confused, and needed some help or guidance and when we finally asked if we could make our purchase we were dismissively told we needed to check in at the front, mind you the check-in greeter had avoided making eye contact with us multiple times and was NOT stationed at the front until after we had already entered and started waiting. We decided at that point it was no longer worth it and left. The most frustrating part came as we left and we saw the greeter warmly welcome in other customers. I'm sure the staff have to deal with interesting characters on the daily but this was our first time in the store and we would have hoped to receive a fraction of warmth from anyone. The staff are always looking to help you and they have some good recommendations on both machines and different pod flavors. Reviewing the new store renovation and experience - there is now a digital line (no longer can you wait in line to shop and purchase in live time) which is extremely chaotic and what once was 3-4min to get sleeves of coffee has turned into a 30-35min circus. After I decalcified my old Nespresso machines (again), I bought more capsules and paid attention. WOW - I can buy single use capsules and they'll recycle the used ones at no extra cost. AND what I spend for per cup (smaller amount, less caffeine) is within +/- 50% if what I spend to grind beans and brew a pot at a time at home. The "Green consciousness" and how Nespresso designs their whole luxury coffee lifecycle / experience truly is awesome! Kudos to Nespresso! I am grateful to enjoy these products. AND they do this all while including the option of a premium in-store experience like this one in Fashion Island. That PLUS employees who are well-informed, gracious, and very kind with all visitors is somewhat of a wonder.
