The parking lot is pretty small and gets crowded, so it can be a little hectic. Overall, not a bad matcha at all, but I'm not sure it completely lived up to the hype for me.

This place has been on my friends want to visit list and I wanted a pick me up and to grab a bite to eat to start out our day. It's located at the corner of an already fairly busy plaza with lots of eateries and other businesses there so parking can get a bit tough, but we were able to wait for somebody to leave and take their parking. Just keep this in mind if you go at an even busier time of day. There was a line to order, but there's different ways to order, either at their kiosk or with their cashier. While in line, you can take a look at their menu or at their merchandise which looks like it has the title card text from the Evangelion series. Very amusing. If you're local or are a fan, you can participate in their passport series and get, I believe, 6 stamps, to exchange for a tote bag. Cute art of some original characters and a tiger. Maybe they can duke it out with a Korean smoking tiger if they truly wished to do so. There's light bites here, fridge items, desserts, coffee, teas, matcha, etc. Some counter and bar seating, outdoor seating (all taken and super limited, but it was cute and pink), and lots of tables and chairs throughout, but it was packed when we went and packed when we left. Easily a very popular place to hang out or to get some work done. For our visit, we got the: 1) Vietnamese Coffee Aussie Series: -This is a Vietnamese coffee with a milk soft serve on top and Milo powder on top. Sweet and indulgent dessert-like drink. Nice coffee taste to it. -I got to enjoy the milk soft serve before mixing it into the coffee. It's a coffee float if anything and you can't go wrong with it. It's not overly sweet even with adding everything to it and I was able to sip it and enjoy it for a bit afterwards too. I would like to try other versions of this too. 2) Classic Egg Sando: -It's very light, bread is sweet. -It's pre-packaged in a plastic container. I've had better egg sandos at other cafes and at the maid cafe. The mayo is very, very light, and it's more of a snack than anything filling. I'd skip this. 3) Popcorn Chicken: -Asked for their five spice cayenne powder on the side and it comes with some yuzu mayo. -This was alright. Reminds me more of western style popcorn chicken in a nugget style, rather than the popcorn chicken that you would get at a boba place. Some of the pieces are in square pieces which is a bit strange looking. Slight crisp exterior, a bit bland even with pouring and shaking the entire powder onto it. Sauce made it a bit better. -Maybe getting the spicy version is the call. I took a sip of my friend's Banana Toffee Latte at no added sweetness to it. Nice subtle banana after taste. Slightly roasted flavor. Not too sweet or strong. Solid latte drink Drinks were good. Food was a bit of a miss, but I might give their pastas or baked goods a chance next time.

She gave me 2 clean separate spoons so I could savor and discern my selection. The space is thoughtfully curated, modern and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, service great! It was packed so immediately I knew it had to be good. And the customers were right, the ube cream coffee was magnificent. Suffice to say, I'm coming back!!

I visit this place in the morning and the crew is awesome yet i find at the end of my day i like to come here and unwind before going to the other side of Irvine. The only thing I dont like is when when Brian the so called manager/leader closes both restrooms for his so called chemical cleaning. I inquired he should only close one and leave the other one open in case someone has to relieve themselves. I got an oh friggin well look from him . He is the only one who does this. The other person that closes always leaves one open. Seems he rules this place with his so called military persona. Is this Starbucks policy or is this just Brian trying to get things done his way. Not sure if im going to be here any longer or at least not while he runs things. read more

this is a really good Starbucks location I love the way they make their caramel frappuccinos because they always add so much calm when it makes it so delicious and so tasty and so enjoyable for you to drink. I love the big straws that they have here too. Some Starbucks locations only have the short straws. But this Starbucks location has a really long straws which makes it really easy for you to drink your drink they have really good seating as well and there's tons of space for you and your family to sit down and enjoy everything that you purchase inside the location. This is a really fun little Starbucks location. It is located next to a lot of different stores and shops which is advantageous for me because I do not always like sitting in the lobby with so many congested people all around. Especially during covid I try to stay away from people as much as possible so the fact that this location has a lot of shops next to it makes it easy for me to enjoy my coffee with a lot of air space around me the parking lot is really big and I definitely appreciate that as well cuz it makes parking a breeze read more

order ahead on mobile app as they seem pretty backed up on mobile orders and i waited for a while (~10 min) for my drink when there was only one customer in front of me. they've reconfigured the store to allow for 5 customers max in the store as there are signs on the floor, but they are not strictly enforcing it as far as I could tell. I don't what the foam is/where did it come from and I had to wipe it off the cap when the barista handed me the drink. it seems like they updated their hours again so beware. read more

They have the option to add a tip if you pay with card. I got a large milk tea with boba, and it was so addicting! The boba was soft and a little warm, freshly made. Did not taste like cough syrup or anything weird; sometimes the UCI clubs would sell them, but since they do not ice their drinks, it melts and tastes weird... I traveled to this location because it was next to a work conference and the service was below standard. I think the brand has great staff yet when the manager would not help someone who had misplaced a gift card, there was no reason to be so rude. The starbucks itself was understaffed as well.
