    Hojicha banana latte, so good
    Christine N.

Hmmm pretty good! The long line kind of scared me when I dropped by in the afternoon sun, so I came back another time when it was cooler and found out that it's only 1 customer inside at a time, which is why it looks so long outside. Wait time is about 20 mins including placing order and getting your drinks. Salt bread is always out when I get to the front, so haven't been able to comment on that. Appreciated that the base is all oat milk here though! Strawberry coffee (very faint taste of strawberry) Blueberry coffee (delicious blueberry compote) Blueberry matcha (pretty good!) Hojicha banana coffee (unexpectedly delicious!) Guava matcha (pretty good!) Would be back to try other options available and recommend others to try as well.

Come in knowing what you want to order! The setup is pretty unique. you walk in, tell the barista your order first, and then head over to the cash register to pay. I actually thought the system was pretty dope and efficient. That said, I can definitely see how it could be frustrating if you're indecisive or it's your first time visiting, so I'd recommend looking at the menu beforehand if you can. I ordered the Matcha #2, and my husband got the Saigon Drip. Once your drink is ready, they hand it directly to you, which keeps the process moving. As for the drinks, they were just okay. The matcha wasn't anything too special. It leaned more on the watery side and reminded me a lot of Junbi's matcha. Not much matcha flavor. Considering the line, I was expecting a little more. My husband liked the Saigon Drip, but we both thought it tasted pretty similar to Lee's Coffee. It had a slight salty note, which we actually enjoy, but the coffee flavor itself wasn't as bold as we were hoping for. Overall, I'm glad we gave it a try, and the staff was really friendly. It was a fun experience but I personally don't think it's worth waiting in a long line for. I'd maybe come back, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice.

Just have to order the right thing...Right now I'm loving the coconut water matcha, which has two of my favorite things, and the matcha one which, by default, comes with oat milk. Anything with ice cream is just too extra for me

People weren't kidding when they said there's always a line here! I came at 8:15am on a Tuesday before work and waited about 15 minutes in line, 5 minutes to get my drinks. I guess a lot of people had the same idea to get their matchas before work lol. I got the Matcha Two and it was sooo good. Strong matcha flavor and love the lil matcha powder detail on top! I could see myself coming here before work more often. There's a lot of workers working hard to hand whisk the matchas and they're all super friendly!!

Ayer is worth the hype! Be prepared to wait- I got there just before 9 AM and there was already a line and it doubled by the time I left. The matcha is top tier in quality and flavor. Super vibrant and the banana foam and toppings was a perfect pairing. The Korean Salt Bread was a wonderful snack, and resembled a bread/butter roll with extra salt. The workers were super nice even with a huge line. Can't wait to come back!

My favorite everrrr!!! Best matcha & flavors, always has a line outside the door. Though the lines are long, the max I've ever waited AFTER ordering is 5-10minutes. Parking lot but can get filled during peak hours. They also sell salt bread but they didn't have it today. (Heard great things about it though) TLDR: Matcha 2 is one of my favorite double matchas. Their fruit matchas are super refreshing & the purées are fresh & not superficial tasting at all. Really looking to explore more of their drinks since they all look super yummy.

Worth the line! Mango matcha is delicious! Fruity, not too sweet and the matcha is perfect strength. One of the best mango matchas I've had! No seating indoors, purely a grab and go.

First time going on a weekend afternoon, there was a long line outside and no parking. Matcha #2 is chef's kiss. Got a bit of salty cream that makes it special. They were out of their Korean bread. Drink was so good, we went again a couple days later. Second time going on a morning work day, there was parking and a small line. Same matcha drink and although early, they had already run out of the Koran bread. I may never get to try it :( Family got Matcha #1 and 3, so I got to try them. They're all good but #2 is the fave!

    Matcha Two!

Super TLDR: -Loved the Matcha Two, will try Mango Matcha next. -Matcha was creamy, smooth, & perfectly sweet. -It was awesome to see the employees whisk each individual portion in their matcha bowls in the kitchen. -Most drinks use Oat Milk by default, can adjust sugar to less sweet. -About $6-$8 per drink. -Parking lot is semi-crowded, and wait time is about 20 minutes, as there's always a line. -Orders come out pretty timely & definitely coming back again!

Went on a Monday morning at 9:30am and lines were already forming! It's a small order and go shop, no place to sit and chill. They also have Korean bread which you should definitely try! Tried out their double matcha and coconut coffee! Both were really good! It is on the less sweet side fyi, in my opinion I think it could use a little more sweetness but I still enjoyed the drinks none the less! This place is pretty solid! But I am not sure if I would wait more than 30 mins if the line was super backed up! Luckily the wait was only about 20 mins from waiting in line to receiving the drinks.

really wanted to try it because it's been pretty popular on social media. when we got in, there was a huge line on a weekday at around 2:30pm. once we went inside and ordered, the drinks came out pretty quick. we ordered the coconut water matcha and the mango matcha. i really liked the coconut water, super refreshing! the matcha foam on top could be sweeter but overall good. the mango matcha was pretty good too.

The wait for this matcha spot was around an hour on a random weekday morning. After trying the matcha, I can understand why. We tried the mango and blueberry matcha and they were both phenomenal, with real fruit flavors. The salt bread was also yummy

Drinks here are sooo good. Hojicha is good, with a proper tea flavor and not watered down at all. The banana hojicha is super good. Definitely can see why the other reviews rave about it. The black sesame coffee latte didn't have much of a black sesame flavor, even with the black sesame cream mixed in. But the coffee flavor was good. Employees are friendly and prepare the drinks with a sense of urgency. Even with a long line, it wasn't a long wait.

When it came to my order, no one mentioned that I could modify it so it was full sweet..too sweet. The drinks come with freeze dried fruit on top which brings some texture but the matcha does not taste ceremonial and slightly bitter. The ambiance is swanky and a spot for people to be on their laptops to do homework or work. They offer pastries and free wifi. I would recommend sticking to the coffee and will try again next time in the area.

This review is for their event/buyout experience only…read more Overall it was a positive, delightful experience. It was easy to plan and the event coordinator was professional and responsive to their guidelines (2 business days). There were some things that could be improved. Planning - Two tables were missing two seats so a total of 4 seats weren't there as they were in the info packet diagram. It required some improvisation and worked out ultimately because some of our guests no-showed and the other table had children who sat in their parents lap. - Having done (and loved) their previous afternoon tea service before, I assumed guests would have their choice of tea. In actuality, you choose 6 teas for the whole event. There's no mention of it in the packet and we didn't find out until we arrived. You only get so much time to set up so it would have been better to be able to choose the teas ahead of time to think about everyone's preferences. - a few times I'd send over a numbered list of questions, and they would respond in paragraphs, which generally answered my questions but did not always answer all of them, which meant I had to re-ask or just assume we could figure it out later. Day of Service - Many guests didn't know how much they could eat per the tiered platters. It would have been nice if the waitstaff informed the guests what the items on the platter was and how many items each guest was entitled to. It seemed like most of the time our items were silently delivered and there wasn't a lot of checking in. - They didn't come by to refill the water for our 6 teapots often enough, so we often had empty pots for long stretches of time. Overall a good experience with some tweaks would be really great.

Service was average. Expect to wait about 10 minutes with average customer volume as they spend more time of curating each drink. 4/5 largely based on coffee as I feel the customer experience can be improved. One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. They intentionally don't have wifi or outlets available to foster a different customer experience. Many of the clientele were reading or knitting which was pleasant. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key. Parking is in l shopping center, no issues.
