Windward City Shopping Center... I'm not quite familiar with this location and this shopping center as the biggest complaint I always have is the bathroom situation and with this Starbucks is not different as there isn't one here to use sadly. Walking in somehow it didn't really wow me much for some reason, the did have some decent amount of seating and full stocked shelves with various cups, display case filled with pastries and it all was nice and clean I guess it's just the vibe of it all just lacked for me. The staff was nice and friendly as I came in for their my seasonal favorite Cran-Merry Refresher in my own personal cup which earns me bonus stars and a ten cent discount and would've stayed and enjoy my sip but no bathroom leads to not staying and probably why there was a single person in there sadly. Usually there is a gentleman who is so sweet when I drop in. But this manager was impatient and made this young lady in white feel bad for their wrong doing. They had a few drink orders up, but things were taking ridiculously long. I had been waiting over 10 minutes for an order that had messaged me was ready..., And this young lady in white had been waiting longer. When she asked about her order/food, the manager brushed her off abruptly. Mind you, the young lady was extremely patient and kind. She wasn't even mad that they missed her order and didn't tell her that they didn't have her tea. After waiting 14 minutes after my order claimed to be ready, they decided to tell me they don't brew decaf in the morning.... The manager was talking bad about guests as she walked away for everybody else to hear. She wasn't very nice to the elderly ladies and extremely sassy. I called Saturday at 9:31am to put an order in for 3 travelers. Employee told me to call back Monday morning, and cited the traveler paper for the week didn't switch yet and it wasn't a big deal because they'd get it done fast. I called back Monday at 6:25am to be told off by guy on phone that I should have called the day before. I told him their employee told me to call back and was told again "Our managers would never say that" twice before he would take my order...claiming it was for my benefit not theirs. That's why I try to place traveler orders with this location usually in person bc they always seems to have issues taking the orders on phone. I know they just write the traveler orders all in their journal and am not trying to make it difficult, but when employees tell me conflicting things, it makes things that much harder... read more

They closed their restroom to paying customers again. I thought Starbucks was getting better but they're still stuck on stupid. Management claims that the local homeless have been a problem, and refers customers to the public restroom 100 yards across the parking lot. My wife is handicapped and would have great difficulty making that trek. And if the local vagrants are indeed a problem, she would be very vulnerable to them while there, since there's no security or management oversight. This does not protect her health and welfare. They also refer the many high school girls who study here to go across the parking lot. This does not protect their health and welfare, either. When Starbucks does this, they are basically saying "f***k you" to my wife. And therefore they're saying "f***k you" to me. read more

I ordered three total for me, hubby and my daughter. I tasted it and I loved it. My daughter said there's an aftertaste which there is but the drink overall was still good. The lady at the window was super nice and made conversation. I definitely liked that interaction with her. Too bad I never got the girl's name. I had a good experience at this location. This place is the worst restaurant ive ever been into. Do not go here. On 05/31 and 05/24 i went through drive throu.theyvgave me the burnt egg bites. I ssked for it lightly toasted. Which is bullshit as i asked for them lightly toasted not realky brown. I put up a review the other day and its not up here for sone reason. I want my money back and i want the manager to appologize to me. I calked and the dumbass manager offered nothing. I did not have time to wait in the drive through for them to re-cook what they gave me. The customer service here is crap. The girl at the window on 05/31 and 05/24 was the same one. Both times served me this crap. She has no cusomer service either as i should have not been given crap like that and then leaving them outside on the counter which is probably never cleaned. Previously i put up a yelp a couple months ago that i would never come in here evercagainnbecause the egg bites were served raw. The bacon is not cooked on top. They do not look like the picture. I want at least $20 refund for the crap ive bought in this rrstaurant. And i want a response from the owner and manager. I sent a message to corporate which ive not hear back from. Kaneohe Windward city shopping center has the best Starbucks in the whole entire state of Hawaii. Every day workers always greet you as you enter the door every morning or evening and making your drink in a timely manner. if you're lucky sometimes you can have a nice healthy conversation with any of them employees nobody has the best ice. read more

Sometimes, depending on the time of day, it can busy and noisy with the bustling of customers, but the smell of the brewing coffee gives me serenity. The smell of coffee is nostalgic to me. Mmmmmm. Anyway, they have seasonal drinks. I always look forward to them. Christmas time, I enjoy their hot toasted white chocolate mocha with holiday sugar sprinkles on top. Parking is no problem. There is also curbside pickup. You can order on their app or go into the shop. Wait time is usually about ten minutes. You can bring your own cup into the shop when placing your order, and you earn 25 stars! Some shops also discount you .10 cents for bringing your mug to save the environment. However, check your order size because I have had a couple of occasions where they have given me a smaller size than what I have ordered. Otherwise, enjoy their seasonal drinks! read more

This review is for their staff. When I came in, there was no greeting, and the girl behind the counter was not very friendly when I asked her opinion on the Summer Refreshers they advertised. The same goes for the other female barista, I asked her for water after I picked up my order and she yelled out to her co-workers to fill the order for water. I did a mobile order today and left them a tip when I came to pick up my order the lady had my drink faced the other way so that I couldn't see the name called everybody else's but mines being rude for no reason and they weren't even busy! Starbucks policy: can't cut your sandwich in half??! So my family and I likely go to Starbucks way more than we should, but since we do, we go island wide. Today was the first time in a very long time we went to the location near Windward Shopping Mall and I was shocked to be told they "can't" cut a sandwich in half. I usually order a ham & cheese baguette that my two young kids split.... And the staff ALWAYS cuts it in half upon request. (Just like everything else can be done upon request.. extra expresso shots, no whip cream etc) Today I was told they could supply me with a knife, but per policy could not cut the sandwich for me. It wouldn't be so bad if the knife that was given wasn't an ineffective wooden board and the sandwich wasn't steaming hot and I wasn't trying to balance drinks and everything else while cutting a large sandwich in my car sans napkins since I forgot to ask for them and wasn't given any. They apologized for the inconsistency since I mentioned other store locations have no issue accommodating my request and I told them that the only inconsistency is their particular store. 2 stars cause the iced tea was great and they were friendly. read more

I prefer this Starbucks over the other kaneohe locations because there's ample parking and usually more options here. They had nitro cold brew when the other locations didn't, according to the mobile app. On other occasions same for other items and drinks I always mobile order to avoid the line. I've order 3 to 5 minutes ahead and it's ready when I arrive! I was greeted by the workers while I went straight to the pick up area and they asked if I was waiting for a mobile order. When I first walked in I was greeted politely. I like the new safari coffee cups they just displayed. However, I was disappointed when they told me they couldn't warm up the lemon loaf cake because of the icing. I asked why because I've been coming to Starbucks for years and they always warm it up. I informed the cashier that I didn't mind the icing melting and I liked it melted. Another girl chimed in and said they couldn't put the icing in the oven because it gets too hot and could burn people.... After traveling from the Mainland and spending a hard day with my dad at the nursing home up the road, I walked over for a flat white before catching an Uber back to the hotel in Honolulu. The manager was at the register. I ordered my drink and sat a bit to enjoy my coffee. The next day went much better at the nursing home, and after a few hours with the therapists, social worker and other staff, I was ready to call it a day. I walked back over to grab another flat white and once again, the manager took my order, which I downsized to a tall. Instead of asking my name, he cheerfully said, "Thank you, David." I come here a lot after my early morning workouts at 24H and the ladies who work the morning shift are always so friendly and accommodating. They have tall shelf like work space facing outside all around, a long table in the middle and a few 2 and 4 tops. They also have patio tables outside. They are located on the corner at the Windward shopping Center on the Denny's/ Ross for Less side. Open daily, semi- ample parking, good merchandise this is one of the better Starbucks. read more

I get coffee and food about 4x's a week, past 3 months (moved to Kaneohe from Kailua). Today I was short .10 cents on a $11.47 order asked cashier if I could come back to pay the .10 cents next visit. She got the manager who wasn't willing to do that and wasn't pleasant. I told her I'd look in my car for change, she rolled her eyes. I did find .10cents in my car, went back in an gave it to the manager. Such a small amount to be treated as a vagrant. This review is primarily for the interior space. Most people go to Starbucks for two things: drinks/food and work/meet. As far as the drinks/food go, it's a standard Starbucks - nothing notable (good or bad) here. As far as meeting/working, it's not a great space. There's one large, communal table at the center of the shop. The rest of the seating is along the perimeter of the shop. These accommodate one or two people at the most. So, meeting in larger groups are not possible. Also, these areas barely fit a laptop comfortably, much less one's drinks, books, phones, etc. No plugs either (that I could see). Summary = Come to this location to get your coffee and scone (to go). Go somewhere else to meet or work comfortably. read more
