Not impressed with this location. Kids hot cocoa tasted funny and was not mixed up. My $5 breakfast sandwich was cold (almost like frozen) in the middle. The other sandwhich was hot so I don't understand. My coffee was fine, but not the best. Went thru the drive thru so could not go back to make it right so can't speak to the customer recovery. read more

Love the location and store layout, but I have almost always had bad or slow service here compared to all other Starbucks. Today I really felt the need to write a review because my bagel took about 20 minutes. I asked once after 10 minutes and one lady told me it was on the way. Another 10 go by and they realize no one put it in. I just wanted to enjoy my bagel at Starbucks but then I was late for work and didn't get to eat it. I understand mistakes happen but they didn't offer a drink coupon, refund or even a apology. This Starbucks is on my way to work but I don't think I will be back due to the customer service. Efficient but I don't get the warm and fuzzies here. Ordered a sandwich as well. This had to be heated up. During my wait I was browsing through their travel mugs selection. Crappy Remodel The new remodel is a BIG disappointment. Now everything is Spartan and noisy, with hard surfaces everywhere. The activities of the Baristas loudly reverberates throughout the store. The new "minimalistic" hard-bottomed chairs are straight out of the book of tortuous 50's church pews with the addition of no lower back support. The previous enclaves of inviting soft chair areas are gone. And all interior is a dirty matte brown that goes very poorly with Seattle's overcast days. Needless to say, I will no longer be regularly visiting this store and hope this is not the trend of things to come for Starbucks. read more

i like this starbucks out of all the ones on bothell way because it is the biggest one with plenty of seating and outlets - perfect for studying or catching up on work. there is also a drive-through and parking is a plentyful versus the ones on lake city way. staff is generally friendly, as they should be andi've never had a wrong order or bad attitude whenever i visit :) as all the other yelpers mentioned.. there always tends to be a cop somewhere near or inside the starbucks. this must also be their favorite hot spot. since all the sterotypes are that cops like donuts and coffee and we dont have many dunkin donuts around seattle... maybe starbucks is the local cop thing over here? just sayin... ;P read more

I've lived in Kenmore for several years, and this Starbucks is the only drive through between my home and work. In the time I've been here, nearly every single experience I've had here has been negative. First, the most common issue; cream and sugar is NOT offered at the drive through. Even if you ask for it, 90% of the time you will get black coffee. The times I've stopped to check before driving away, I've asked them to add it and they have, although it usually takes another minute (I'm not sure where they keep the cream and sugar behind the counter, but it seems like they have issues finding it.) I've tried to solve the problem by simply going inside, but inevitably they make similar mistakes; once I was given a half-full vente, and the barista said "Well, you ASKED for room!" Seriously? Two other times, my coffee never showed up, and I had to flag someone down behind the counter to get me what I ordered, and then convince them that, yes, I HAD already paid. If you order a sandwich, you are spinning a roulette wheel. Regardless of what you ask for, you will get whatever they have on deck (often something cold that has obviously been sitting there) and not inform you that it's different. Today, I was in a rush and had to buzz through the drive through again as, thankfully, I'm moving to a new place, but sure enough, here I am, packing my things, trying to chug down dark black coffee when I specifically asked for cream and sugar once again. The barista at the window had enough time to ask me about my plans for the day, yawn, and tell me that he was off in two hours and hoping to catch a nap, but in that time he couldn't make my simple Americano the way I asked it to be made. I am so, so happy to be moving to where I will never be tempted again to drive through this absolute failure of a Starbucks for the sake of saving time on my commute. read more

This is a great place for an afternoon cup of coffee! The seating is very nice and the place is spacious. My favorite aspect was the fireplace seating, perfect for reading a book or working on homework. The coffee was perfect, starbucks always delivers on that! Plus side: Big, lots of seating. Right in front of a 372/522 stop and/or lots of parking. Friendly staff. Open 'til 9:30 in a land where nothing's open past 8 other than Safeway or the dive bars. Minuses: Voices carry like whoa, and people are often having loud conversations about things that most of us PNW types don't have loud conversations about. No freakin' outlets to be found, so hope your computer holds a charge well. Mine does, so I'm good. read more

honestly the worst coffee i've ever had. i worked in coffee for 3 years and it's not that hard. i asked for 4 shots over ice in a venti cup with caramel sauce and cream. they hand it to me in a grande cup with basically no cream. they change the cup, hand it to me and it tastes like straight dirt. what a waste of $4. read more

Came here for a mocha Frappuccino left with a cup of ice with a hint of mocha... if I'm gonna spend 6 dollars for a drink try to make it right. The drink had no flavor and didn't even look right. Don't know how they can be that oblivious. read more

Love how large this Starbucks is. And as others have posted, the outlets are a nice bonus. Overall, just a nice place to enjoy some coffee while catching up on email, or checking last night's boxscore. Only problem is that the service crew are moody and unpleasant. read more

I have never been more upset at a Starbucks as I have at the Kenmore Starbucks numerous times. Twice we got drinks that were half full there. One morning the drive through line looked rather long ( noted which car was last in line )so decided to go in thinking I had made the right choice there was only one person in front of me. However the girl with the blue lipstick was so unbelievably slow it took more than 20 minutes to get my order. As I watched several cars more than the last one I had seen go through the drive through. I live just up the street and it is about the only drive through in the direction I normally go but I will go out of my to avoid that location. read more

I love the layout of this Starbucks with the cozy fireplace, and large open area. However, the service could be improved. We are veteran Starbucksers so we know how to order. Out of 3 drinks, and 3 food items, we had 4 problems! The cauliflower salad was frozen, the iced tea was the tea/lemonade combo not just tea, the sandwich was the wrong one, and the replacement sandwich was burned. Yikes. Corporate might want to put some more experienced people here. I will say that the gentleman who helped us fix all this, who seemed like the manager, was quite helpful, pleasant and professional. It wasn't his fault so many mistakes were made. Maybe it was just a bad day and maybe someone new was being trained. It was just a bummer to have to advocate so much for a simple lunch out. read more

The people here are very friendly, especially Nate. Never asks for my name anymore because he knows it, and they are quick to fix a wrong drink if another store messes one up. They always make my drink right and it always tastes amazing! read more

The coffee is not bad and the ambiance is generally pretty good but.... Frist off I had been waiting in line and the baristas completely ignored me and adressed this nice old lady, she informed them I was ahead of her but I told her to go ahead. Now there are two baristas, two cash registers so when another barista was staring blankly at me I thought, "okay, I'm next" Apparently it is too much for more than one person to take an order and ring it up...because as I went up the barista gave me this dirty look and asked me if it was me or her...I was so confused...and suddenly I hear the old lady tell me happily, to go ahead. Long time fan of starbucks but I will go out of my way to skip this location. The employee who took my order this morning was extremely rude and seemed inconvenienced by my business... No eye contact, aggressive and grabby when taking my payment, and very grumpy. She didn't make us feel welcome at all. I'll go elsewhere! read more

Rarely do I go to Starbucks anymore and when I do, this is the closest location. The last three times I've ordered three different things and each time they tell me they're "trying something new" and can't make what I want. I wanted a Cotton Candy frap and they didn't have the raspberry syrup... smfh. read more

The staff here is friendly, but the coffee I have received in the last year is just...bad. I return items when I have time. I have had to return incorrect drinks and pastries given to me a few times. Disappointed and avoiding this place, even though it is in a very convenient location for me. This has been my go to drive thru for awhile now and the baristas are always great - hence the second star. But the other day I ordered two Joe to Go boxes for a party starting at 10am. I asked to pick them up at 9:30am. When I arrived the next day at 9:30 they had no record of the order. They were clearly very busy but it took them almost 10 minutes just to find someone who was able to begin making the order. It then took almost 20 minutes for them to make it, making me late for my own party. All of this would have been redeemable if they had handled it better. I totally get that human error happens. But they were barely apologetic and seemed really bothered when I would check in to see how much longer it would be and if there was anything ready I could start moving out to my car. I order the same drink almost daily, yet still they mess it up every time. I'm always polite and rarely ask them to correct it. Please don't give me a drink at normal / boiling temp when I regularly and consistently ask for 130 degrees. :-/ also when someone asks for Soy, most likely it's due to a MEDICAL REASON, please PAY ATTENTION TO THAT. They need to learn what a real capacino is. When asked for one wet, it was all milk and stated that wet meant no foam. A cap is a shot with foam only and one that is wet, should have more milk, at least in France. We will never go back. Very rude. read more
