The fastest and most efficient Starbucks I've EVER been to and this is the 2nd day in a row since I'm working in the area. The longest wait is in line to order and it seems no one waits more than 3-4 minutes if the line is long then a couple more minutes and Your food and drink is READY! For the very first time, I ordered through the Starbucks app and was concerned that something might go wrong since I was ordering it through delivery. Well... it did, I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew but received an iced vanillla latte. The bag was correct because it had my name and sticker of my drink but inside the bag it was the wrong drink. I called the establishment 8 times and no one picked up, and on top of that someone picked up one of those times and hung up on me. Pretty much will never order through the app again, and pretty disappointed that this happened. read more

Haven't been here in a cool minute but I see they've remodeled. They have a large bright menu that made me do a double take because I thought I entered an ice cream shop. I think the new/improved menu design is pretty cool. They've also eliminated indoor seating - a wise decision considering how coffee shops tend to attract "loitering people" who hang out all day and don't purchase anything. Bri has the worst attitude EVER. Every single time I have been in this store she looks miserable. She can't smile or be nice. If you want your drink made a certain way and include those instructions, be assured she will pay no attention and make the drink as she pleases. When you ask for her attention she ignores you and walks away. I ordered a latte with light foam, she makes the latte with foam starting from half the cup. When I brought it to her attention she goes to ask what's the difference. If we are paying $5something for a drink, why is it such a big deal? It's not like it's free. If I wanted a cappuccino (which is mostly foam) I would have ordered that. She is just plain rude. The rest of the staff seems to be fine but she ruins the tip for everyone else. The staff is all over the place in this location. Even though there's three employees working, only two of them were making drinks and both of them were concentrating on a large mobile order which resulted in me waiting 20 minutes for a single coffee. Esther did not offer me a straw, just put the drink down and ran off and when I asked for a straw, she didn't answer. I asked again for a straw and she said one moment in a very snappy way. I think the morale here needs to be fixed or a new team leader needs to be hired to keep everybody in better spirits, I will not be returning to the Starbucks. It's a nice clean Starbucks with friendly and attentive staff. Never a huge wait. Unfortunately it has no drive thru and is sometimes overrun with homeless/transient people. This Starbucks is located in a strip mall on the southwest corner of Olympic and Westwood Blvd., kind of a busy section of town. Best way to approach is heading south on Westwood Blvd (the driveway entrances are on Westwood) or east on Olympic (you'll have to turn right on Westwood Blvd). There are a very limited number of spaces in the street level lot; some are dedicated to the Chase bank, others are for Baskin Robbins, and many of the others have a 20 minute limit. As Romeo noted, there is free parking in the underground garage; the driveway entrance is just south of the strip mall and there is a stairway and elevator to get you back up to street level (look for the sign in the garage). It can get crowded down there, too; about a quarter of the spaces are reserved (I suppose for employees). Medium sized floor space, with seven small tables near electric outlets if you're bringing your laptop, plus four cushy chairs, also near wall outlets. Three more small tables in the middle of the floor if you don't need to plug in. Staff is as friendly as at other Starbucks. Uni-sex bathroom is clean & roomy. There is no outside seating, unfortunately. This Starbucks was surprisingly empty when I went in late on a Saturday morning, which is always a plus; I came to this one after going by a Starbucks closer to Santa Monica that was just packed. I've also come here in the middle of the week, in the middle of the afternoon, and it can alternate between being really packed or relatively empty; like most places, the number of customers at any one time is cyclical. One of the bigger locations in the area with just enough seats and tables for people to work/study. Lots of outlets for laptop users and tables with wireless phone charging stations--I really love those because it saves the space and hassle of having yet another cord. Staff is really nice and friendly...unless they are new, and then they tend to appear strictly by the book. The female workers are usually helpful and so is the Asian guy, probably because he's used to seeing me there. I'm a Starbucks Rewards Gold member so I usually get tons of coffee and/or tea refills, and I love that the staff gives them to me hassle-free and with a smile. I've never had any problems with my orders here or encountered any bad attitudes. Anyway, I come here often so I can spend hours getting work done on my laptop and occasionally read. The best time to go is during the week because it gets packed on weekends. I'm usually able to find parking in the lot but there's also free parking underground. It's L.A. so yes, free parking is a big plus. This location is spacious and kept clean. Only downside is that the a/c runs high in the summer so I get chilly sitting there for hours, but that's not a problem now that the weather's been cold. There are quite a few Starbucks in this area but this one's my favorite to spend hours at. read more

Clean and spacious location! I actually enjoy going here to get some work stuff done because the staff are friendly, it's spacious inside so there's always a seat, and drinks are prepared in a timely manner. WiFi access is consistent, and my regular order of a non-fat cappuccino is pretty consistent too! Real talk, this location is much more preferable to go to if you're trying to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Starbucks located off of Sawtelle and Olympic. Free underground parking is located underground, which is south and right after the plaza (keep your eyes out!) and the spots are pretty spacious. I met a friend at this location yesterday. This was the first time that I had been to this location, even though I've driven by it a lot of times. I was able to find a parking place in the lot. The servers were very pleasant & friendly. I like locations where one can sit, chat & not feel rushed. It was great catching up with the friend & enjoying a vanilla bean frappuccino. I like catching up with friends at Starbucks. It was good for me to get out of my comfort zone & go to a different location. I'm still partial to another location, as that's the one that I meet friends at most of the time & the one that I'm most familiar with. All in all, another good Starbucks experience! :):) read more

DO NOT PARK in the underground parking. My car got stolen there today around 130-3 pm. I had a brand new BMW X5. I am so upset.

I parked here for an hour and ten min, some thug with a tow truck shows up, parked behind my car as I'm sitting 5 feet away, and threatens to tow me unless I pay him $180. Everybody was shocked!!! He didn't even have the car lifted but refused to move! I negotiated him down to $100, but what a sleazy way to treat paying customers. The Starbucks manager Alex was super nice but ultimately unable to help bc of the signs posted. This shopping center management should be ashamed of the themselves for waiting with tow trucks to tow people. And what an awful tow company!! read more

Judging this coffee shop solely on the study environment, for me, it is below average. Best times are Fri/Sat nights, mid-day weekdays, or during the summer. If it's a fall or spring session at UCLA I stay away. Weeknight evenings are terrible. Years ago before the remodel this was a great study spot full of small desks. It was kind of low-key as well. It seems tucked away and small from the outside but its a fairly large Starbucks. The parking seems daunting if you don't know about the underground parking which I think helped to keep people away, however after the remodel it seems this location got very popular. As is typical with most Starbucks the music is played very loud to make it difficult to focus. They've even changed out the light bulbs to a much brighter bulb and it's very uncomfortable if you prefer dimmer light to study. The Pros are the baristas and service. They have a few great regulars and all of them have been very cool from my experience. Rarely any homeless at this location compared to others. Drink and food quality is standard. read more

Is Monday and almost 8 pm , I wanted to enjoy a good tall Americano, the lady who was the only one at the bar was washing a lot of stuff in the sink, rings me up, as she leaves my cup being poured the shots , returns to the sink , continues washing plate ware and stuff. She literally had her hands soaking wet... I mean dripping a lot of water and grabs my cup from the machine, grabs the soy carton - as I asked I wanted a little splash- grabs a lid , then a sleeve , hands it to me all wet. As if that's ok. She wasn't even careful enough to avoid any soap all over my cup. I don't visit this location very often- thank God- I have my favorite store and they have never done that over there . This is probably one of my favorite Starbucks location because of the availability of parking, which makes coming here convenient if you are on the go or if you are just coming here by car. Of course the drinks here are good, as should be expected of any Starbucks, and the people that work here are generally welcoming and friendly, which helps to make my visits here a plus. Additionally, there seems to be better seating options around here, which is nice in case you want to come here to get some work or studying down, or have a quick chat with friends or family. Really-smart-barista! - I thought Peppermint Mocha was only available for the Christmas time, but he reminded me it's actually available all year long and should get one whenever I feel like it. This Starbucks is BOMB! It's a chain, so won't comment much on price and quality. But the space! LOVE IT! Tons of tables, mainly for one or two people. There's a few bigger tables that could sit up to four people or so. Coming to study here a lot now because it's spacious. And there's select spots of great lighting. Otherwise you could bring your own lamp? haha! Not tons of sockets, but enough that you have a good chance of grabbing one. FREE PARKING. That's the golden ticket right there. Free parking in Westwood, LA? Yes please. The employees are SUPER nice and will make sure you're taken care of. There was one night I was in here and a homeless guy was kind of harassing people (doesn't happen often) and the employees stepped up and made sure the customers weren't in harm's way. Need I say more - rude barista. Wish I got a name but I didn't. Order a drink on the app. When inside to the restroom. Got over to the bar. I'm looking at the barista the barista does not acknowledge me. A lady comes up to the bar and the barista says a name and the Lady confirms. She hands over the drink. She still does not acknowledge me. A gentleman walks in and comes to the bar she then asks If he is so-and-so. She gives him the drink and she still does not acknowledge me. I didn't tell her that I'm there for a mobile order for Suzanne. She has asked me what drink I ordered. What the hell is this about? I didn't think I looked homeless or anything like that. On the contrary I am in my suit minus the blazer. I just kept eyeballing her the whole time this thing went on. After I told her what drink I ordered she grabs it and then finally gives it to me and then I tell her that is so not nice. Suffice to say I won't be coming back to this location. I order several drinks a week on a regular basis. I drive all over the place I go to all sorts of Starbucks all over Los Angeles orange county Ventura county everywhere you name it I've been there apparently I haven't been to this location before and I won't be coming back unless is - no I won't even be coming back so yeah. This is not what I needed to get through the rest of my day as I drive all day long I've been up since 4 AM today March 9, 2019. NEED the caffeine! What a day but oh well.This barista is not very bright and may have to learn the hard way. Just be nice is it too hard to ask? I pride myself in being in customer service where I try to help people out but this is disappointing.
