    Caramel Latte

This coffee shop was bustling all morning from 7-9am. Lots of people working, meeting others, and getting carry out orders. Enjoyed my caramel latte.

The espresso here is phenomenal. The aesthetic of the place is very cool and trendy. Minus one star because the music tends to be pretty loud.

This is a great coffee shop if you are looking for a place with lots of tables! The coffee menu is pretty standard, but they do have a decent meal selection. I went with a classic iced caramel latte and it was great! Only downside is it is loud in here and there are not many outlets! So dont expect to take any meetings here. Staff was very friendly though!

Really cute and cozy cafe recommended by a friend from the area (she said I had to check it out!) Enjoyed the coffee as well as the vibes while I was in town. Would definitely come back if I'm ever around. Staff were nice and quick.

I am still thinking about my caramel latte from sungeros, it was that good! This quaint Louisville coffee shop has homey feel and retro vibe - I loved the touch of the coffee newspapers and live plants around the tables. The menu is straight forward - not a lot of seasonal specials that is (although they did have a mint julep cold brew for derby!) but have some flavoring options and all the essentials. I loved my caramel latte, it was the perfect sweetness without overpowering the coffee roast flavor and so creamy and soft. Service was quick and very friendly despite it being a bit busy on a Sunday morning. Also had the cheddar and chive biscuit which was good but nothing too special. It will definitely be a must visit for me when in town for Derby!

Great cup of coffee! Nice social area to meet up with a friend. The place has a light murmur with background music. Great for chatting, not great for getting serious work done. This place was recommended to me but it was unfortunate that the service wasn't good, which is the only reason why I gave it 3 stars. The two people working had a bad attitude. The barista never made eye contact with us the whole time we ordered and just kept her head down. The other tossed our pastry on the counter after she put it a bag. Not placed, tossed. This place has had issues with their staff protesting and demanding a union. Too bad because I think the quality of service has gone down since. There are better coffee shops to go to. Wouldn't recommend again.

Sunergos is one of my favorite coffee stations in Louisville. Their new location in St Matthews is darling while staying truly on brand with their wall colors, incredible coffee and bean selection, and mismatched vintage vibed furniture. Absolute perfection for your next coffee date. We can't make it into a Sunergos location as often as we'd like, so we always purchase beans to go. They can grind them for you at the shop but we prefer to take them whole and grind as we use them. Highly recommend always trying the seasonal blends (green-labeled bags) when you have the opportunity. These limited-time blends are always some of my favorites!

Witches Brew is a place to find all sorts of magical things, but it is also just a divine (in every sense of the word) place to sit and have a hot beverage and a pastry. It's worth a visit to this coffee shop just to see the decor. It's purple everywhere, with mood lighting, mirrors, gothic tchotchkes, creepy dolls, skulls and other fun and slightly ominous curio. There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. I got an Americano, which is usually my go-to if I don't know how strong the house drip will be. The Americano was nice and smooth. I didn't have to wait long at all for my coffee. The coffee itself was pretty standard, nothing particularly standout, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place special. If you enjoy spooky or Halloween-style vibes, you'll probably love it here. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so it could be a good spot for studying or getting some work done. Personally, I found the ambiance a bit too spooky for focusing, especially at night. I am just not a big fan of that kind of setting (haha). Overall, it was a good experience and definitely memorable in its own way. I can see why people would really enjoy it, so I'm giving it 5 stars! And server was very nice.

I wandered in yesterday to find this new shop buzzing with lots of patrons. I love the mix of high tops for working with tables inside and outside geared toward talking. Given its smaller size, this definitely seems like a coffeeshop that's good for a grab-and-go coffee or meeting someone to talk one on one, rather than spending a large portion of time sitting and working. Though you could definitely do that here too. This shop has all the faves you've grown to love at Quills Coffee. The dirty chai is my go-to. I also noticed a fun list of seasonal drinks, including an apple chai for fall. It also had a selection of baked goods, of which I opted for a cranberry orange scone. I'm excited to see this stretch of Brownsboro continue to grow. Quills is definitely a part of that!

Don't get me wrong; everything was good, but it didn't live up to what everyone was saying. The location is great. It's on the corner of Frankfort and Clifton. They're great--just like the ones at Classico Takeout and Empanadas. They were out of the entree we wanted so we got the salmon. It was pretty good. My biggest disappointment was the pizza. Several people recommended the spicy Thai shrimp pizza. It was just okay. I did not taste any Thai flavor. It was basically a cheese pizza with diced shrimp and a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I didn't care for the crust either. It ended up being a $70 dinner that was just okay. If we go back, it'll probably be for the empanadas or fries. It seemed like almost every table got the pomme frites so they must be good.
