This location offers an inconsistent experience for me. The better visits happen when I visit to hang out, inside or on the patio. A variety of seating spaces - high tops, tables for groups, and chairs for those coming alone. The drive through is a bit of a mess. The parking lot is tight in general and at times the car line pours into the street. Today was slow - from ordering to paying and getting my drink. A local high school is nearby and Starbucks has been known to lock the doors to block students from dropping in after dismissal. This has been inconvenient for customers that want to come inside and relax. I've not had an issue with drink or food consistency. The decision to stop by is primarily based on having patience and extra time if you're planning a drive thru order. read more

Jay and the crew - solid forevermore. Always beautiful friendly and fun! They take such care while crafting the drinks and cultivating good vibes and experiences whenever we come in. That is so appreciated and gives me joy. I had to wait for my godson and of course they were so helpful in making our order but delaying his until he arrived! Something little that was huge for me- I don't want not watered down matcha and I know he wouldn't (yes I have ruined him and yes I spoil him idc don't have em if you can't in someway- and besides he's perfect so why not) so I tell you this- if you have a request or a ridiculous drink you want made- you're not getting the side eye, nasty comments made, or an attitude that they have to make it- I have never experienced that here at this location. I rather have an excellent experience obviously while spending money- than spend any money having a bad one. Obviously. I don't go back to places and spend money when I'm mishandled. Fumble me if you want. lol This location is one of my 3 favorites. And I do travel allllll the way here. Had to get my godson his matcha and the kid hers with caramel... they always love them! Most people think that all Starbucks are the same. Nope, there are many things that can change the climate of a particular Starbucks location. I frequent this one because of its proximity to my home. Coffee beverage quality, service, and parking are hit or miss. Rarely will you hit the trifecta and have a wonderful experience with all three! I have had coffee drinks that were 10/10 and some that have been 2/10. The same happens with service. Parking woes are covered below. On my most recent visit (Sunday afternoon, June 19th), the hubby and I were the only patrons in the store, yet, because of the LOUD screaming, shouting, partying of the employees, we could barely hear each other speaking! Workers were throwing towels at each other and having a grand ole time! With the metal ceiling, the restaurant is loud anyway, but with raised voices and yelling, it was horrible! There is a large table that seats 5-6 people, 5 tables that seat 4 people, and one bar top table. A small couch and chair are available too. A cute outdoor patio with 4-5 tables is on one end of the restaurant. The typical Starbucks beverages are sold, including hot coffee, cold brew, espresso, frappes, frappuccinos, tea beverages and more. Also the typical food options including egg bites, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and more. There is a small offering of Starbucks swag and coffee for sale. I was impressed that this location is participating in the Waterstep program that assists in providing safe drinking water to developing countries by selling gently used and new shoes and using the profits for water projects This Starbucks location is squeezed into a small spot, making parking and drive through experience a bit nightmarish. There is a lane for parked cars to back into, and outside of that is the drive through lane. The drive through cars have a line behind which they are to wait so as to not block the lane for cars attempting to leave the (VERY small) parking area. As you can imagine, this doesn't happen, resulting in cars being unable to leave and new cars being unable to pull in! Given the small space, I'm not sure what the answer is, but it is truly a nightmare. Of note, this location is directly across the street from Eastern High School and from 2:00 on, it is FULL of high school students. Forget coming between 2 and 7ish, you won't be able to hear yourself think or get a seat!! This too, is something of a nightmare! Because sometimes you just need a coffee and when it is available a mile from your home, you stop by Starbucks, and hope the stars are aligned in your favor that day! read more

come here pretty often. usually, the order takes a long time to come out, and on the times when it is fast, it tends to be wrong. they're out of half of their food products most of the time. if you need coffee nearby, it's fine, but if you've got the time, go somewhere else. read more

Starbucks decided to put an establishment on a small triangular piece of land at the end of Main street in Middletown across from the library and smokeshack. Not the best location due to limited parking. When extremely busy, the drive through pours out onto Shelbyville Rd and creates a traffic nightmare. Patrons also do not observe the signs and frequently block the drive through access for patrons trying to leave that initially parked and went inside. I usually opt for the hot coffee of the day and it is usually consistently fine. My wife, however, gets a different concoction and it's rarely the same each time. We were the only ones inside one afternoon and the cacophony of sounds emanating from the young teenage staff were deafening. I know it hard to get help these days but who is training the staff and teaching them some discipline? At least it is better in the Summer. When the nearby high school is in session the noise is unreal. I simply remove my hearing aids and put them in my pocket until I exit and get into my car. Then I pray drive through patrons haven't blocked the exit. At least my coffee stays piping hot. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning and this place was hopping! The parking can be a challenge during busy times. My order came up promptly, but while there the flow was more than the staff could keep up with. There was a young man running the register and also doing so much more. He mentioned they had a few team members out this day, but he smile and service never changed. His energy was amazing to watch. I love the layout of this location with a large community farmers style table. This might be my new go to remote work spot. read more

I've followed suit by being addicted to cold brew of the nitro proportion. Order ahead via App would be advised firmly, and too just go through drive thru, say your name and your in like flint. Due to smallish parking, would not advise park/run in/grab and go. As you be less stress on you and your neighboring starbucks-heads. Also..if you get large drinks, do ask for straws even you might not use them...easiest way to mix your drink up if all the flavor is at the bottom. read more

This morning I ordered a tall drink with no ice because I don't like when the ice waters down my coffee. I was shocked when they handed me a cup that was barely half filled. I have never run into this problem before and am very disappointed, I did not pay full price for them to only fill my cup half way. Ridiculous. read more

We come here EVERY morning. Usually, we have no issues. About a day ago we had to wait in line for over 25 minutes... which was a little frustrating, but I'll wait for my coffee. Once we went to pay, they told us not to worry about it and handed me a gift card saying the next one is on them. I go to pay for my coffee, and they say it's only worth $4. Even though it's written on the card 'your next one is on us'. The older lady at the cash register was a bit confused, which is understandable because she wasn't the one who handled the previous situation. But then another employee comes up and tells her not to listen to anything im saying, and to just 'give me the drink'. Completely rude attitude and handled it VERY unprofessionally. You're lucky I'm a civilized person. HOW ABOUT when you hand out cards for your mistakes, INFORM the customer it'll only cover $4 instead of saying 'your next one will be on us'. Nothing I order is $4 or less. We WILL NOT be coming back. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. The only good time to visit this SB is right when they open in the morning. After about 10am, expect them to get your order wrong and have to remake it, or lose track of it in the queue (especially if you ordered inside). Over the past few months, they have made hot beverages when I specified iced, made me hot chocolate when I asked for a mocha, gave me 12 oz in a 24 oz cup when they ran out of 16 oz cups, charged me for a pastry I didn't order, not to mention the LONG waits in the drive thru line, even with just one car ahead of me. Why in the world didn't they design the drive thru window to be at the far east end of the building instead of the west end? The placement of it makes no sense considering how tiny the lot is. Staff is friendly but they move so fast like chickens with their heads cut off that too many mistakes are being made. Accuracy over speed will keep customers every time! I go to Starbucks constantly. This one is really not very good compaired to others. I placed my order......a vente white chocolate mocha, 2 egg white bites, and a chocolate brownie. I stepped onto the patio to take a phone call, and when I came back in, I walked up to the counter. Neither of the employees acknowledged me. They chatted with each other for 5 minutes before one of them looked up and said "your order's down here on this end. our Starbucks is backwards." The coffee doesn't taste like it has any coffee in it at all. The egg white bites are delicious but they did not bother to warm up the brownie. read more
