Man this Starbucks needs a revamp! Or someone else needs to open a new location. The quality of care, the lack of drive to want to push for a faster drive thru line and actually have a great drink at the end is 10% chance. I went from drinking Starbucks 3-4 times a week to 2 times a month in hopes that those two times won't be so bad. But sitting in a drive through for 30 plus mins!!! COME ON! I've been a DT Starbucks barista in the valley for two years, but when I come visit my family here and go to this Starbucks, it's always beyond disappointing. There is no reason I can fathom as a barista myself, for a drive thru line at any Starbucks to ever take as long as this one does. Additionally, the lack of knowledge with recipes is disheartening. I literally drive to the Chandler business park Starbucks to avoid this one in Maricopa. The other reviews are correct, there are certain people that won't even greet you in the lobby or drive thru. If your the only Starbucks in town, you'd think you wouldn't treat your customers like crap. I'm not the only one that drives to Chandler just to avoid this store. read more

My drink was filled up 75% with ice...? I used to work at Starbucks and I know that is not accurate. Also I stood and waited about 5 minutes for my mobile order, there were 6 people behind the bar and not a single person acknowledged me. I was actively trying to make eye contact with them and did several times and finally had to call out attention at the register to assist. The slowest drive thru I have ever seen, sometimes 30 minutes..... Then if you order anything "special" meaning any changes from a standard drink you have a 1 in 10 chance they will properly make it.. you'd think knowing the drive everyone from Maricopa has, they'd improve this, and increase revenue from it. Not my favorite Starbucks especially on the weekends. Inconsistently made products. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Sometimes the staff are nice, sometimes they argue with the customers. Been going to this Starbucks for a couple years and I'm not sure what is going on with management but the standard of customer service and speed is extremely inconsistent. Some baristas like Jeffrey, Jillian and Sophie are great but there are others who will argue with me and what I ordered at the window. About half the time the wait can be 15 min with only a few people in the line ahead of me. The most annoying thing about this Starbucks is that I have to repeat my order at the window 2-3 times 90 percent of the time. Whoever runs this Starbucks needs to be micro managing the staff. Some people really don't care about this job and it shows. The good ones are excellent but the bad ones are really bad. read more

Terrible! 20 minutes for an online order doesn't make sense at all. Things should be done by the time they print not by easiness. They were scrambling everywhere even though there were five of them on. Then when I finally got my second drink, me and another guest asked for straws she picked up two and tried handing them to me I took one and she let the other fall while the other guest had to ask a second time for one. I usually am a regular at this Starbucks- My friend is in town visiting and we have gone to Starbucks for our morning coffee the last few mornings and every time there have been issues. I ordered an iced CARAMEL macchiato they gave it to me hot no big deal, it happens, so waited for them to remake it AFTER the barista gave me the worst attitude. I ordered my drink with extra caramel came with no caramel at all, the drink was awful. The day prior I paid for a Trenta sized peach green tea lemonade and received a venti. I also had ordered a turkey pesto panini sandwich and received the complete wrong order without realizing until I had left. The day prior to THAT my friend had ordered a iced oatmilk latte with caramel and again came with no caramel. I was just going to chuck it up as a loss the first time it happened but since it's been everyday since that we have gone we are VERY disappointed. Slowest starbucks in the world. I understand the food service word. But when you go to other starbucks around the valley/world you get accustomed to fast service. Drive thru is 10-15 minutes . I asked for a matcha lemonade. "Sorry they're discontinued" when they are not. went to the starbucks on price and willis (my favorite one) they have friendly staff. And always get my order RIGHT and done in two minutes. This one in maricopa does orders not in "order"??? I can go too dutch up the street and get 5 drinks in the span it takes this starbucks to make one drink. First, Weekday morning service is great. Afternoons and weekends is another story. This location needs a babysitter for the kids playing around instead of working. If you're the only drive thru option in town, strive to be the best. Shouldn't have to repeat my order several times because you're not listening to me, but listening to your coworkers talking. I'm paying $6 a drink, I want it right and with a smile. Not attitude. Some of these kids need to be written up and take a customer service class. Hopefully Starbucks execs take notice. Ever since quarantine started I'm not sure if it's management or something but not only are they out of everything their business hours are completely different and they're not posted anywhere. I've had horrible experiences at this location. 30 minute wait in the drive thru just to get my order wrong every time. Today I went to the drive thru and ordered a peach green tea lemonade and they told me at the window they are all out of peach, I asked if I can substitute it with a refresher. The girl left the window open and I heard her and the employees talking about me, making me look like an idiot... I stared at them until they realized I heard them the whole time. I am completely disgusted. I'm not surprised this location has a lot of bad reviews. This starbucks is absolutely unprofessional. The second time in 3 days I came in and waited over 20 movies for my drink. The first day it had to be teenage because the shot at for 2 minutes before she made the drink....and it was still not a good drink. Today I waited another 20 movies and watched my shot sit there for a minute and then she went to the back....I went back to the register and just got my money back. This location is a hot mess. The morning crew is great during the week & are super friendly. With that being said, today on a Sunday afternoon I had the WORST Starbucks experience EVER. The girls that were behind the counter were arguing with me about what I ordered. Being a Starbucks customer, I know what I am ordering since I order the same thing almost every time. We asked for lattes (hot) we got them iced. We asked for a cold brew w/salted sweet cream foam & got what was like an iced latte. I am a super patient person and normally an understanding customer. But when they started arguing with me that what I ordered and what was presented were very different, that's when my patience and understanding goes out the window. The manager and some off of the clock barista were backing us up while the other 2 were arguing. I would highly recommend to encourage better customer service training for the newer team members. read more

Descent coffee. Well staffed and still the slowest service imaginable. 6 out of 7 people work the drive through. " someone will be with you in a minute ". I don't typically do this but since there isn't the name of a manager posted I feel like a review is necessary. Every time I've gone to this location over the last several months the service has progressively gotten worse. From being ignored at the counter, messed up orders, and people just not caring about their job enough to prevent people from waiting 45 minutes in the drive-thru- today will most likely be my last visit. There is no good reason a professional in any job should make a customer repeat their order over and over again because they're too busy laughing into their mic to actually hear the order and then keep us waiting another 15 minutes with 6 employees standing around in a not-so-busy time of day and location. No customer service employee should start off an interaction with "hold on I'm talking" and then made to wait until they are done only to be laughed over and then asked to repeat our order again and again.
