After my first 1 star review, DM reached out, smoothed things over. I thought things were gonna go along swell again. Back to my normal routine, M-Fri 4 am stop at Starbucks. Went well for about a week.....then one morning (4:18 am) I stopped by, and noticed a line of 5 cars...at this time, its rather weird, there usually is maybe 2 tops....well, after we all waited in line (again 4 am) for about 15 minutes, it was finally my turn...turns out, nobody was home...nobody was taking orders. Lights were on. People inside. But...no coffee? I finally pull up to the window, and UUGGGGHHH. The morning "supervisor", who always takes on this "Fake Customer Service" voice and swears she is always right opens the window. She then explains that she "just got there" and nobody had the keys to open up.....I suggested putting some sort of sign up, so people aren't sitting around during their morning trip to work, waiting at a drive thru that isn't open. She suggested, that I should start going to another coffee shop down the street...wow. You have a real "Class Act" supervisor in the morning at this location. She is the MAIN reason you are losing a lifelong customer. Also, Managements follow through on this whole ordeal has been extremely lackluster to say the least. read more

My sister and I came here for morning drinks after we drop off our car for car wash. It's pretty close distance by walking with 5 minutes. When we got inside Starbucks, it seems full at 8.45am on Sunday, but we still managed to have seat. I have Mocha as usual, the Mocha was good especially when drinking something warm in the morning. The interior is spacious and lots of tables and chairs, it works for people who want to chit chat here. This is a definitely a good place to meet up. read more

This place is actually really inconvenient. They randomly close their lobby and make you pick up your mobile order in the drive through. But you mostly do mobile orders when you're in a rush... and their drive through takes about 20 minutes to get through. Just go to a different Starbucks. Wow this is the largest Starbucks I've ever been to. Pretty cool that it has so many and different seating options. However this Starbucks gets super loud!! Hard to concentrate here for me. I think this is my favorite Starbucks location. I would rather bring my kids here to eat and chill than the other Starbucks locations. I've been here for the past 2 years and they are always friendly. I've come at busy times and it does take a little wait for them to complete the order but it's expected at any busy place. That said, my review won't be helpful if you need a tall order ;) This place: -is clean -has bathrooms -is spacious (like i can push a stroller in and out easily) -has friendly service -seems to be a busy place, even when you think it's not busy, it's busy because this is probably everyone else's favorite Starbucks. -has lots of small working tables and outlets (not that I use them) -also has area of big chairs for lounging -it doesn't smell like cigarettes (you know, there are some places that have tables outside and smokers are there, and whenever a door opens, you can smell the cigarettes) i come here for the drive thru to order a breakfast now and then. I also sit inside with my young children for the applesauce pouches while I have a sandwich. It is a working/studying atmosphere; 80% people was on their laptops, earbuds in, 20% people standing/waiting for their drinks. I love how the place looks and is quite relaxing to just sit there. If you're a mom of young children and want a time to chill and RELAX, it's possible to relax with 2 young ones (2.5 yrs and 1 yrs) at this location. read more

This starbucks is great! Service has always been friendly, plenty of parking, didn't even realize they had a drive thru.... but doesn't seem ridiculously busy. What I love about this particular starbucks is 1. I may be a tad bit biased but it is walking distance about 7-10 min from my apartment. Which encourages me to walk off that drink I just got!! 2. Plenty of seating indoor and a few tables outside 3. Bathrooms are clean 4. Service is friendly even though I take like 5 min trying to decide what I want although I usually stick to the same things every time. They never scoff like some others. They have a private booth, they have 2 seater tables, they have a long bar style table, velvet chairs with a coffee table, high bar stool seating, basically whichever kind of mood you are in wether it's studying solo, or coming with a group, they got you settled. Hint: TALL ICE COFFEE with heavy cream and cinnamon dulce is very cost efficient only $2.45 (you can add any type of milk and syrup flavoring for no additional charge) read more

She saved me from an iced tea melt down after Fantasia left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. The interior is huge when compared to most Starbucks'. Lots of people come in to study, listen to music, and chill out. Wish I had taken advantage of the 40% off 6 pack of "ugly sweater" mini gingerbread cookies in Dec! Ginger and spice, so good. It's a busy Starbucks so drinks take a bit longer then usual but not a problem if you're hanging out for a bit like most of the patrons. Service is good as a typical Starbucks. This Starbucks is pretty spiffy with its new furniture and upscale layout. Having lived in Seattle for the summer, the home of Da Bux, I consider myself a bit of a Starbucks expert. Layout: This Milpitas location mimics some of the designs that have been their go-to lately with a more local coffeehouse, ski lodge feel. It was definitely a working Starbucks with almost everyone hidden behind a computer. The layout allows it to feel spacey with your choice of tables by the window, the higher up stool tables, or lounging chairs in the middle of the store enclosed partially by poles. Employees: The people working there were very nice and there was...no line? There is also a drive through. But, in conclusion, it's a Starbucks. A newer one, yes, but still Da Bux. read more

It's a pretty speedy process for a drive thru Starbucks. I was heading out and about in the Milpitas area and I was around the McCarthy area at 99 Ranch / Michaels down the street. I had the option of going to the Starbucks in the Chevron area by McCarthy which meant I had to backtrack to where I had already been OR go towards Black Bear Diner and sit in my car through a drive thru. My destination was Fremont. So obviously I chose the drive thru option. When I got there, it had started sprinkling and people ran inside (from the outside seating area). The drive through had maybe 10 cars ahead of me and a couple behind. I thought it'd take forever like the drive thru in San Jose. Nope. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. AND my drink was made correctly. (Thank goodness!!) While I was waiting in line, I noticed that inside was packed! I couldn't see clearly from where I was (refer to photo) but it looked cutesy inside with a good amount of space. I'd probably check out this Starbucks for a study session next time if I'm in the area and it's not too loud inside. My biggest pet peeve is a rowdy coffee shop. Fingers crossed! read more

There might be an awkward moment when you are looking at them and you cant ring them up. Just be transparent with them, " my job for the day is to take order for Drive-thru and this cash-drawer is not assigned under my name...we ll take care of you guys soon. Not all Starbucks are "created equal," and this location is a definite plus on size! It is huge. I came here after fighting the foot traffic from The Great Mall and needed my cappuccino perk for my drive on the way home! First off - huge parking lot. Second, good Feng shue with open floor plan and huge inside. Lots of tables and little sofa and lounges to hangout in -- and you don't have to worry about someone peeping over your reading materials or conversations. The staff here are super up beat and they make good suggestive selling! I ended up buying a brownie that I really didn't need -- but I did because their good at what they do!! AM baristas rocks the drive thru during the weekday rush hour, especially Ingrid and Sam, you guys totally ROCK! I wish I knew everyone's name so I can tell the whole world about you, but anyway, most of the baristas here are awesome. Some of my favorite drinks are the Black Ice Tea w/out classic syrup add splenda no water, Green tea frapp w/Espresso shot blended in, and Non fat White Chocolate Mocha no whip cream. Yes, I'm one of those customers =/ I've also tried most of the breakfast sandwiches here. My favorites are the Spinach & Feta Breakfast Wrap & Bacon & Gouda Breakfast Sandwich. They are soooo good!! A nice large location in what used to be Carl's Jr. I love the fact that it is not nearly as crowded as all the other Starbucks, that there are plenty of power outlets, and it is not cramped. This place is my sister & I's go-to study place! They have plenty of seating and outlets which is perfect for college kids that need a place to crash to get stuff done. They have a decent selection of pastries which they refill throughout the day. They also heat up the pastries before they serve them to you, which I appreciate :) So far, I've tried their Berry danish and Cheese danish (both were delicious and flaky!). I usually order plain black coffee and it tastes pretty normal (nothing special, cheap, and gives me enough caffeine to keep me running). Atmosphere is pretty chill & the servers are quite friendly. Cons: WiFi is a little spotty. For some reason, I always get disconnected. It might be the universe trying to tell me to get off FB and actually do work? I usually drop by this Starbucks 2-3 times a week. The staff members are really nice and friendly and the overall environment is superb. Great place to work on your laptops. The only negative side is this one lady that comes every day to disturb the place. I think she is homeless. I feel really bad for her but at the same time she talks really loud and starts swearing at her self. I was going to give 4 stars to this Starbucks but I realize it's not their fault. The employees quality here ranges. My Santa Fe Chicken Panini had been sitting in the kitchen next to the oven for a long time, but no one acknowledged that it was ready for customer. I think they should be more organized and find a better balance between in store customers and drive-through. If I had a choice to take another route to work, I prefer Peet's in another location. read more
