There are always lots of people hanging out, the staff is friendly, just don't go when you are in a hurry, you will usually have to wait.

with the new drive through and online ordering, in person ordering (so I can use my personal cup) for espresso drinks has slowed down to a snails pace. More baristas needed. read more

Not at all crowded (I came in on a Tuesday evening), a little messy for me but not at all dirty. Tons of traffic of people going on and out... but plenty of parking and outdoor seating space. Epic fail. The worst coffee house experience I have experienced in my entire adult life. A personnel took my order but I guess she needed a little help overriding a prompt on her screen, so personnel named LODINA interjected and started "helping out". It is Lodina who at that point became extremely aggressive and belligerent towards me simply because I asked for coconut flavor and she gave me the whole lecture of how not only they don't carry this flavor but how now she had to charge addition of flavor as a complete new order at 60 cents. I have usually no problem tripping for good service and good food but this person acted so irritated and basically annoyed at me asking for this flavor that she gave me hateful looks as if I asked her something outrageous or outside of the scope of her job. It was her uncalled for anger that prompted my decision to opt out of any additional items which I decided to order at nearby Pete's where pernonnel is always smiling and friendly. Clearly she was having a bad day or was in a bad mood and I didn't want to continue unpleasant interaction-she kept giving me dirty looks throughout my whole visit. As I proceeded to pour milk and sugar I almost expected her throwing something heavy my way, her level of over reaction was through the roof. It felt very uncomfortable so I didn't stay long. She proceeded to have a complete meltdown and started yelling when I said I wanted to file a complaint against her. I was across the room away from her and she YELLED making a huge scene in front of all customers! Buyers beware you may get a doze of hostility along with your order. read more

Remembered every wed morning I would come here grab a coffee and chat with my friends or for to go before school starts. A great place to hang with your friends. Customer services are nice and the coffee... Well they just taste like Starbucks! read more

Since this location is in the middle of nowhere, it's a perfect QUIET place to study. When I was going to school in the area, I would come here to study before I went home. The outdoor seating was nice and cozy as well. If you're a student in the area and you need to study, this is the place for you. read more

The Moraga Starbucks has always been the place that I go to before walking my dog, but after they've moved to the new building the sitting areas has been a little uncomfortable. Especially for the outdoor area. As the weather gets warmer, I'd hope there will be umbrellas outside to make more shade and more convenient for other dog owners, to grab a cup of coffee. read more

Great location and good environment to work in. Going through the drive through was a terrible idea. Took at least ten minutes, the order was messed up and they almost forgot to give me my card back. Hopefully the location and workers will be settled soon so there can finally be some good service. read more

Spacious but not very comfortable. Not enough plugs. Wi-Fi is basically non-functional. I kind of liked the setup when I first walked in, but then couldn't find a table with a plug. Then discovered I couldn't use the internet anyway since nothing would load up. This Starbucks is ok for meeting and chatting but not for studying or working if you need Wi-Fi. read more

This is the third time in the past month I have ordered an iced drink with light ice (emphasis on light ice) and when I receive my order the cup is at least 3/4 full of ice! I would ask them to re-make it, but they are always so busy that I feel bad for all the people waiting, and some people might frown upon or view this as petty. This Starbucks, like many others, has Quality issues that is not only related to training, but limited staffing. read more

Something is terribly off about this Starbucks. The staff is rude but most notably, they clearly do not work well with each other. I've consistently found that the coffee is not brewed the same each and every time I order. It's not a difficult job and yet I always feel that when I order my coffee, I'm inconveniencing them. There's nothing worse than ordering a coffee with a shot of flavor and realizing that she forgot to put it in. It doesn't hurt to smile either. Get it together Moraga. read more

Outside seating should have more trash bins and they should be bigger. It's such a bothersome problem when after drinking and eating you have to seek out some place to through away the trash, it will cause people to litter around the area. read more

My home away from home. Only problem is that smoking is allowed in the outside seating area. This area IS a major asset to this store, but lots of kids are out there and smokers are inconsiderate and when the weather is hot, the smoke just lingers. Yuck. read more

I'd go out of my way to go to this Starbucks. By far the biggest in lamorinda and has a nice setup, you aren't dodging displays to order your coffee and walk out. The staff here are super friendly and recognize the regulars. They try their best to go as fast as possible. They handle the heavy morning work and school crowds. They also rarely run out of any one thing which is always nice too. read more

So, I was enjoying my giant Trenta unsweetened Black Tea when I took my final delicious sips and noticed a nice, long black hair(I do not have black hair) plastered to INSIDE of the cup. That being said, tea was good, but definitely suggest that everyone checks their cups for any floaters before they take a drink. read more

There is a very unfriendly older gentlemen who works here in the evenings, I have received attitude from him multiple times, so I decided to stop coming at night. The day time employees are super sweet and friendly, but unfortunately this Starbucks is always so slow. read more

Most of the times i have been to this Starbucks the cashiers are not very friendly. They do not ask "how are you", do not wait to see if you want any modifiers on your drink before handing it off, and they never smile. It makes me feel like it's a bother for me to go in there and get a drink. I've worked at a Starbucks before and they were very focused on making sure the customer was welcomed with a smile and treated nicely. I wish this Starbucks would do the same. read more
