For as long as I've lived here I had never been into EBar, which is Nordstrom's cafe. Although slightly on the expensive side for what it is, I ordered an Italian Soda in Blackberry, but they can also make it with other flavors like cherry or coconut that mostly run to fruit - no vanilla or cream soda. I actually expected a pre-bottled drink, but they use bottled sparkling water and added in a little syrup to make it. The service itself was helpful and prompt, but the space is small so it feels busy with only four people inside. All that being said, I would absolutely stop in again as it's very centrally located and has quite a bit of seating out front. read more

Food and drink quality is okay, but the prices are high for what you get. The bigger issue is the waste. Nordstrom Ebar sells drinks in plastic and glass bottles, but provides no recycling. Everything goes into one garbage bin. We asked employees if they separate recycling in the back, and they said no. They also are not separating compostable waste. That means every bottle, cup, lid, napkin, and food scrap gets sent straight to the landfill. Plastic and glass that could be recycled are wasted. Food scraps that could be composted instead produce methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. For a large company like Nordstrom, this is careless and irresponsible. Customers should not have to choose between buying a coffee and contributing to unnecessary landfill waste. Nordstrom needs to provide recycling and compost bins immediately. Shame on them for ignoring such a basic environmental responsibility read more

This place is great . Convenient location but very small inside . Servers and baristas are awesome. You satisfy your coffee fix craving. Although there is no restroom inside for patrons there is one like 100 ft away in broadway plaza WC. The place can get congested and super crowded at peak time. Some tables outside.5/5 read more

- Located in the heart of the shopping area - Coffee is not sour - Cappuccino tastes more like milk than coffee This was a nice coffee place to have in the middle of the shopping area. The interior slightly resembles S_arbucks, maybe because of the dark brown color theme and the darkly colored cement floors. I visited here, when it was the holiday season, so there were limited edition drinks. I was thinking of getting one of the seasonal drinks, which was called the gingerbread latte, but I decided against it and chose a regular cappuccino. On the other hand, a different relative of mine chose the peppermint mocha. Impressions of the two drinks: cappuccino is hotter in temperature. The peppermint mocha contained a flurry of whipped cream (spray can version), so it cooled down the coffee surface. For future reference I won't choose this mocha because of the whipped cream; there was an unnatural greasiness in the cream. For the cappuccino, the coffee was nice and hot, and it wasn't sour. The odd side, I don't know it just felt like all coffees tasted like this, but it was more milk or cream over the coffee. read more

Unfortunately, the service at this coffee shop has been really disappointing. They are often very late, and sometimes they're even out of coffee, which is their main item. We paid a lot for soups, but the soup was served cold. When we asked about it, the staff offered excuses rather than solutions, saying it's "just the way it is" and they can't make it hot. On top of that, they don't provide utensils with the soups, which makes it even more frustrating. I've had a few experiences like this, and overall, the service has been very poor. read more

Over priced, sub par coffee! I mean, this place used to have amazing coffee and friendly staff. Now? All you get are dirty looks, dramatic sighs, and that "why are you even here" energy. And that's just from the staff. The customers cutting in line (while staff just watches) are the icing on the burnt, overpriced cake. Sure, the coffee's still good, but not worth the price. I get inflation, but come on! Add in zero seating, a space the size of a broom closet, and a sugar station that looks like it's been through three natural disasters, and... yeah, not worth it. Haven't been here for about a year, used to visit almost daily cuz I worked in the plaza. I came in to use the restroom and get a drink but once I entered the cafe, nobody bothered to look up and greet me. Then I proceeded to wait closer to the guy making the drinks and he just ignored me. Then I asked him if I could use the restroom but instead of saying yes or no, he lied and said "we don't have a bathroom, that's a storage closest" which I know for a fact isn't true because I've used that bathroom before and so have plenty of my old coworkers even just a week ago. He then with no emotion in his eyes or voice, said I could go across the way and use the public one. Why lie? I could have bought a drink first? Just say it's for paying customers. Came to get my favorite chia storm. It looked different and upon tasting it it lacked the spice but tasted like chocolate hmmmm... I hate chocolate. Terrible customer service with a very bad attitude. We walked in at 7:29 PM, 31 minutes before closing time and they wouldn't heat up a pastry for us because they said they need to cool off their oven which is unheard of. You can tell the shift leader girl was so eager to get out of there and refused to heat it for us. If we had walked in 10 or five minutes before closing, then I would understand, but over 30 minutes before closing time? Lazy employees. A very common trend since the pandemic. read more

Review #169 - 2017 I wasn't planning on writing a review, but I changed my mind because I hope someone will read this review and it will help to retrain their employees. I was trying to push my daughter's stroller into the cafe and there were a few "customers" inside, but no one was kind enough to offer & hold the door open for me...which was fine, until I realized that they were all employees of Nordstrom. They were all chatting with each other and didn't bother to notice that a customer had entered the business to even greet me. I stood there looking at the order board to figure out what I wanted. The young lady who helped me was at least patient while waiting for me to decide on what I wanted since I wanted something with very little caffeine. She suggested the lavender chai latte, which was perfect since I love lavender. It was perfectly sweetened & smelled so nice & warm on such a cold evening.
