I love this Starbucks, it is my local and my favorite. However, I really wish this and all of the Starbucks locations would stock Stevia packets as a sweetener on the bar. Many places do it now, and I would really like to have the option to sweeten without the cancer and health risks associated with sugar and artificial sweetener. Very rude Starbucks. I won't be returning. I ordered a Spinach Feta Wrap and was told it would take a min of 30 minutes because they were heating up 20 other pastries for a call in order - they were not in the store and no one was behind me. Not very customer service like. I was surprised she would not throw in my breakfast order since I was the only one in the store in line. The store is beautiful though - hopefully the staff will learn to be a little more friendly and have a little more common sense when it comes to their customers (in the store). read more

Starbucks has lost it's charm and I seriously never want to come by another 'buck again. But the proximity and convenience to grab and go wherever I am brings me to starbucks more often than i wish for. This particular location is where I find the staff a bit more friendly and the latte's and mocha's done better than others closeby my place on elcamino. Very friendly people working this morning, lots of smiles and happy workers, and obviously my clover coffee was amazing - don't know when the switch happened to actually ask me if I wanted room and still give me a grande's worth of coffee (in a venti cup! Without asking! Drop the new ordering system where the cashiers no longer pour coffee and the simple coffee orders have to wait for the fancy barista orders to be filled. Especially since the simple orders aren't printed out on the stickers so they often just get lost. Annoying enough to send me to a competitor! read more

This is probably the worst Starbucks that I've been to. First of all, it always smells bad whenever I walk inside. I'm not sure if it's because they don't clean but it just always feels gross. Second of all, the workers are almost never friendly. All of them have attitudes and I always have to wait 8-10 minutes for a simple drink. This is probably the worst Starbucks for customer service I've ever been to. There was a young guy with bright blonde hair that used to rock this place from the inside out but it's been months since I've seen him. Don't expect to get greeted even if you're the first customer of the day, don't expect a "you're welcome" for your drink or even "thank you." Having worked at Starbucks before, I know customer service is their primary goal, and according to Starbucks own standards, this is the worst. The drinks are dodgy also. This Starbucks location is great! The drinks are fairly consistent with other Starbucks, but I appreciate the ambiance of this place as it has a more intimate setting that many coffee shops lack. My only complaint would be the parking, but given the center that it's in I guess it is what it is. read more

One of the best Starbucks I've ever been to. There are two seating areas, one quieter and cozier and conducive to studying with lots of outlets (one at each seat), and the other main one in the primary entry / ordering area. One of the things I really value is the friendly patrons -- I can ask someone to watch my stuff for a minute if I need to use the restroom and genuinely feel like my laptop is safe. It makes it much nicer to work there for a half or full day for that reason. Another reason I love this place is because the main barista is super generous. For example, a few weeks ago, my friend told me when you use the Starbucks app, you get free refills on drip coffee. (Note: It's true and a huge perk of going to Starbucks over other shops, esp. since you get a free drink with every 125 points -- 2 points per dollar spent -- in the app). Anyway, I had been at a different Starbucks earlier this particular morning and had a meeting at this San Antonio Starbucks mid-morning so I brought my cup thinking I would get the free refill at the second Starbucks. It turns out the rule of free refills only holds for the same visit. So if you leave and come back or go to a different Starbucks, you can't get a free refill. The head barista at the San Antonio Starbucks gently explained this to me and then said she would do the free refill anyway since I didn't know. Saved me $3! Super sweet. read more

I am a huge Starbucks fan and usually enjoy a latte in the afternoon on most days (expensive habit, I realize). Most Starbucks are consistent and reliable, but this one just seems to get things wrong all the time. I've ordered drinks from here on 4 or 5 separate occasions because it's the closest Starbucks to us (I was pretty excited when it first opened up), but they've messed up my drink everytime. Not sure if the mediocre barristas are training others into mediocre barristas, but I've written off this particular Starbucks and drive a bit further away to the Starbucks on El Monte in Mountain View instead. The location and space of this particular Starbucks is nice though. read more

This Starbucks is by far one of the best locations I've gone to. The staff is VERY friendly and my drink has been made correctly each time I have gone. I am greeted every time I come into the store and I can see how hard these baristas are working. Everything in this store is FANTASTIC except the fact that there seems to be flies in the pastry case. I hadn't noticed this before, so who knows how long the flies have been in there. Someone should seriously do something about this because I dont want a fly infested muffin! C'mon Starbucks, you can do better than that. Everyone at this location is super nice, friendly, and my drinks are made FAST, but man that pastry case. Flies EVERYWHERE.
