I have only been to this location twice in ten years because the drive thru is ridiculous and people legit road rage as there is like 3-4 ways to enter the drive thru and everyone is trying to fight to get there first. The second visit I parked and went into the store, even with almost 10 baristas behind the counter, we received not one single greeting. Ordered 4 drinks and with 4 items in my order, you'd think common sense would be to make all 4 drinks at the same time. Nope. It took 15 minutes while each drink was called out one at a time with a wait between each one. The girl that gave us our last drink was the nicest and friendliest along with Dustin who took our order. While your employees were all dancing behind the counter and having a good time, maybe they should focus more of their energy on providing better customer service, this location gives me "too many cooks in the kitchen" vibe and everything seemed disorganized and chaotic while they all just bumbled into one another. The only reason I did 3 stars and not lower is because my coffee was made perfectly and everyone else enjoyed their drinks, but still this wouldn't be my first pick of locations. read more

Located off the 215 Fwy off the Murrieta Hot Springs exit in the 'Murrieta Town Center' shopping center near 'Amazon Fresh', with drive-thru and plenty of parking. My sister and I stopped here this morning for her bday coffee. I had a hot 'Pumpkin Spice Latte' and it tasted great. A perfect balance of steamed milk, espresso, and pumpkin pie spice, topped with whip cream. Customer service has improved at this location. Service today in the lobby was welcoming, fast, and efficient. Overall, we had a good experience this morning. read more

This past week, my husband and I decided to go away from making coffee at home, and getting it from Starbucks at this location. YELP states that they are only 1/4 of a mile from our front doorstep. We've frequented this location since Del Taco disappeared and became THEM. LOL! I'm unhappy for a few reasons. 1. First 2 cups of coffee - one was delicious, the other was some white clear, tasteless, odorless, hot substance. Alexis (the manager on duty) could NOT for the life of me, figure it out. She gladly replaced it and gave me a $4 gift card. Still, I really would like to know, how that happened. I drove home and had to come back. Not at all good when your only job is to serve us coffee. 2. Today, I decided to drink my coffee in the car and asked the young man if I could get a refill. He tells me, "yes." I sat for about 15 minutes drinking my coffee. I came back through the drive through, NOW, to order breakfast and get the promised refill.... Only to be told I had to come inside. WTH? So, I cancelled breakfast order and was about to drive away, when I thought.... "SELF, go inside and get your much deserved refill." So I did. I have NEVER taken advantage of a refill and I was bound and determined to do so. When I came inside, the lady that told me I couldn't get a refill in the drive up, never looked up. She was the only female in there and she knew she was rude! I feel like they didn't think I would come in. Shame on this place! I did mention to the young man that he failed to mention that I had to come in. All these Baristas do is f*** up your order and then say, "sorry." Sorry is not good enough in this day and age. I'm so sick of people saying sorry. LOL! You have one job. Make us good coffee and stop serving it to us spilling over. Every cup we've gotten has spill over and is leaking. My Grandkids love Starbucks and I can spend upwards of $50-$75 in this store, at any given time. Almost weekly. I will not change locations but you can bet that I'm coming inside, EVERY SINGLE TIME, you mess up my order. If I have to get your corporate office involved, I will. I like this location for a few reasons. One is that they are never super busy, at least every time I visit. There's usually one or two people in there studying or just enjoying their drinks. Second is that the drinks come out pretty quickly. Third, the employees are always friendly and the place is always clean. I also like that they have a wide open parking lot, near the Amazon Fresh on Hot Springs. Tonight, I went in and ordered my Passion Iced Tea with Lemonade, but when I tasted it, they forgot the Lemonade. Brandt. He is amazing. I would only aspire to strive to that level of patience this individual has. Today I witnessed a complete psycho breakdown over wanting her food wrapped in the original plastic packaging and due to guidelines proven by google AI.. they don't allow that due to health guidelines and liability. Some dim-wit narcissistic, entitled woman belittled the employees and felt like she could bully them into giving her what she wanted. Brandt was the literal kindest most professional and sincere individual I have come across in the service industry. He upheld respect, stood his ground and maintained composure as we all encumbered the most undesirable creature while the drive thru line patiently was awaiting our daily dose of caffeine. Some people at this location are very kind but some are pretty rude. Drink quality is consistently poor, I always order with extra milk but my coffee is always a very dark brown color, and one time they didn't give me any milk at all. Decided to meet my friend during her lunch break at a Starbucks, we chose this location because it was close to her work. It used to be Del Taco before it was renovated and converted to Starbucks. I haven't had the pleasure of going inside until now. We ordered 2 coffee lattes and kale portobello mushroom sous video egg bites, then found 2 comfy chairs on the corner to settle down. Interior has open concept but felt cozy and private all at the same time. Our drinks and egg bites were ready soon after we found our perfect spot. Lattes were made perfectly to our likings and egg bites were delicious. Next time my friend wants to meet during her lunch break we will definitely return. read more

Murrieta's newest Starbucks location has a modern, sleek exterior that replaced a decrepit fast food chain building in the plaza. It's less than a mile from a sister store (also on MHS and off the I-15/215 split, but will likely get frequented just as much as that one does. There's both storefront parking and shared mall lot parking. Despite a questionable interior design (the register is diagonally opposite from the main entrance, so you'd have to walk across the majority of tables and chairs to order), the staff have been friendly and efficient, both at the counter and drive thru. My orders were made without issue, but I've yet to come in when it's busy and when there's a chance to sit for longer inside. Pro tip: they are offering complimentary Nitro Cold Brew shots for the time being, which is appreciated as other Starbucks stores in the area don't have nitro taps. read more

This is the 4th time this month, twice in the last two days where I've ordered 3 shaken espressos, no classic, ass 3 white mocha and 2 cinnamon dolce. Every time, the drinks look super milky with no brown or caramel color inside the drink. So one of two things are happening, or not happening, the drinks are missing a shot of espresso or they are making the drink with all milk minus the correct way/ time when the shots are pored. I have never bad mouthed Starbucks before, I know the staff is over worked and stressed during rush hour, but come on, I'm a regular Starbucks customer who spends anywhere between $300-$500 a month at Starbucks. read more

I forgot to ask for Oat milk when I made my original order in the drive thru and once I got to the window I realized I had made that mistake. When I asked the young lady working the window to use Oat milk instead she was not very nice about it. She asked me if I really "needed" oat milk. What the... Who asks a customer that? If I say I messed up and need it remade, just remake it. It's not rocket science. Shoot, I'll pay for both, just make a new one. Don't let it ruin your whole morning young lady. You know what, I should've just drank the latte with the regular milk and then used their bathroom afterwards when the whole milk kicked in. I love this Starbucks! I've been probably about 5 times since they've opened and every time I receive great service. I come around 2pm a couple days a week & do my homework there. It's hardly ever busy during this time and the store is kept very clean. There's one girl in particular (Sarah I think is her name?), who gives phenomenal service!
