This is one of my favorite Starbucks! If you frequent Starbucks as much as I do, you'll know that each location is different. From how they brew the coffee to how they make the drinks. This particular location makes the Caramel Frappuccino the way I like! The staff is also always friendly, which I like and they keep It pretty clean. My only thing is that, they don't have the straws accessible anymore. So you always have to ask for one, especially if you are picking up. And that can be annoying especially if you are in a rush. read more

I decided to treat myself today using my bing rewards points that racked up from online searches. I don't come to Starbucks often, my normal is mocha cookie frappe but today I wanted something different something fruity, something berry. Ingrid who took my order offered some suggestions of combinations of what I was looking for, then she said she got a barista named that make good drinks, I'll get her to make you something. I said ok bet I trust you girls. What Karen handed me was NOSTALGIA in a cup, took me back to my ice cream truck days as a kid you could get the bomb pop, push pop, or the screwball, so when you could get the strawberry shortcake that was about $2.50 when I was a child that was definitely a treat and boy was this a treat. When I tell you it tasted like the real ice cream had been blended in a cup it was DELICIOUS. This is by far the best experience I've ever had in customer service and at Starbucks. These 2 ladies love what they do and it show in their smiles, to the excellent service down to Miss Karen giving me a straw with a smile wanting my to taste her concoction that she created for me. I hope she enjoyed my reaction to her delicious drink just as much as I enjoyed drinking it. By the way I ordered a medium which I was told was a $9 drink, I paid $1.39 and she was nice enough to print out the ingredients which I've posted so that I can just read it off at the next location I visit. Simply orders through drive thru still can not be completed as long as you are white. Then staff has an attitude when when you have to take your time park, come inside, wait while they finish their social time to return your drink that should have been made correctly when you ordered it. Never seems to happen to black folks Parking at this location is pretty hard as they only have one spot which really one too many. You have to park at grocery store or risk being towed by the two restaurants in that building. Again could simply be a "white privilege" thing that experience here. As non white persons can use the other 2 spots and handicap parking and go into Starbucks. No wonder Starbucks has been busy shuttering stores. Clearly starting wages of $17-$21 / per hour is not nearly enough to do the jobs the workers have been given. Used to be that $9 plus tip was enough to not play drink roulette, however if you happen to be white in a exclusively non-white area, drink roulette is your only choice. read more

Hit or miss drinks and service. Sadly, most of the time, this location is a "MISS". Why? Because: 1. The drive-thru can sometimes take upwards of 30 minutes with only four cars in line --- on a Saturday afternoon. 2. Drinks sometimes taste watery. 3. Staff can be rude and unprofessional...shoving drinks in your hand, giving you the wrong order and getting mad about it, the works. P.S. it's in an awkward spot in a shopping center that serves a very busy international supermarket so parking and exiting the area is a huge challenge...so watch yourself. My first time here, I was disappointed. I ordered the Blended Strawberry lemonade, and it was gross. It tasted like frozen water with a hint of lemon. The service on that trip was decent. I went thru the drive thru and received my drink in a decent amount of time. My second time here, my drink was amazing. I went inside to order and got the Blended Strawberry lemonade again and it was GREAT! The service was pretty good. I was greeted when I approached the counter and asked if my drink taste good when I received it. However, it did take them a lil long to make my drink and I'm not sure why. This is my go to Starbucks! It's so close to home and they have a drive through which is perfect since I'm typically always running around. They always get my order right and the drive through staff is always so kind! They work pretty efficiently to get the drive through lines moving pretty fast as well. I've sat inside a few times and since this Starbucks is on the bigger side, there's a lot of seating and it's overall very comfortable. My only disappointment is that I have been a few times around 3pm or so and three times in a row they were completely out of food, or completely out of certain food items by that time. It would be great to have a little better planning with the food to ensure they don't run out by the middle of the day. I love seeing the friendly faces everyday and this will continue to be my regular Starbucks. read more

This location needs NEW STAFF I stayed at the hotel nearby and WALKED to this location at 7am in a bright sunny Sunday morning and these losers ignored me . They did not even look in my direction. All the signs posted said they are open for business. But the door was locked and nobody came to explain why I couldn't get a coffee . Now I could have driven through their drive through ... but they were so rude to me at the door I don't want to spend my hard earned money with them now . We have different and complicated orders, but today, our cashier by the name of Trey, he was absolutely delightful and incredibly helpful. With all the variations of the drinks I had, he was incredibly patient and waited for me while I took the orders of my friends over the phone. I'm standing in this Starbucks as I type this review. I am disgusted! I'm here with my family right now and we have been waiting twenty minutes to receive our drinks. There's 4 people working and apparently only one person is making the drinks. Mind you, multiple cars in the drive through have received their drinks and drove off. When my sister asked why the teas were taking so long, the guy making the drinks replied with "What teas?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! *sighs* The bathroom was disgusting and there was no toilet tissue. I regularly come to this Starbucks. From my experience, the staff is very friendly, the drinks almost always taste great (sometimes it comes out too sweet for me), the drive-thru line moves quickly (even when it's busy), and the shop is kept clean. They have outdoor seating, which is great in the Summer time. The wifi works well inside and outside; it has never given me trouble. Something I don't really like about this location is how busy the shopping center gets... making it difficult to leave the drive-thru sometimes. However, that is only an issue at certain times of the day. read more

This place either needs to recruit better Baristas or re-train the ones they have. Maybe they should taste the drinks before they give them to the customers in the drive thru, I don't know but something has gotta give. If I ask for a white mocha with an extra shot with whipped cream that's what I expect to receive. I would normally not review a Starbucks since I don't usually like admitting I go to them (I prefer local breweries and my favorite in the area is still a tiny one over in Georgetown), but I had to with this one. The baristas are friendly and chipper (not just caffeine chipper, either). I had to come here for the wifi to finish some homework that was due at 5 since our hotel's wifi was down and I was here for about 5 hours total. I bought something every couple of hours (just worked out that way). But even if I hadn't, I doubt I would have ever been made to feel unwelcome or rushed. It was relatively quiet other than a few low key conversations, so it gave me plenty of time to study, take my quizzes online and get everything done by the deadline. Even though the baristas were busy doing all their extra work (cleaning, restocking, etc.), they were very quick to help any customer they saw approaching the counter or lingering at the shelves of merchandise, it was very refreshing to see such great customer service in action. My husband I and were staying at the hotel across the street from this Starbucks while in DC for a weekend. The hotel ran out of coffee, and rather than wait for something terrible, we decided to drive the 2 minutes up the road here. I am a frequent Starbucks patron, and this had to be one of the cleanest ones I have ever seen. The staff was friendly, and they even had printable drink stickers (rather than write it on the cup) that they used. It literally made my morning 10x better because I knew I could rely on their quality beverages to get me through the day! This is one of a few Starbucks in the area that I stop-in at. Usually, this would be during non-rush times such as the middle mid-Friday afternoon, or in the middle of a weekday (outside of lunch). I like where this Starbucks is positioned, and the fact that there is always healthy activity via the drive-through keeping the atmosphere a bit lively. But on to the meat of the review. There have been multiple occasions where staff simply forgot about me after I had already put in my order, and occasions where my order was wrong. - I order a decaf, and get nothing (they simply forget) - I order a decaf, and get caff Aside from the known Starbucks policy of not brewing decaf (having it already brewed, that is) after 12 noon, this is an entirely other problem. It seems there is a priority issue with this Starbucks location such that staff either are not trained well enough to be considerate to its own customers, or that the staff don't know how to handle more than 1 customer at a time. The mind-blowing part of this is that, as noted above, I would usually come in at very quiet times (with the drive-through only being moderately busy at best), with the drive-thru customers seemingly getting better service (I've gone through the drive-thru about twice). I struggled to give this place a second star - and that is primarily due to factors having nothing to do with me actually purchasing anything (e.g. the relative roominess during that times that I go, the restrooms, and overall organization which are "ok"). If you are at this location to stop-inside and order something, prepare for a screw-up. If you're there just to use Wi-fi and buy already-prepared items, but otherwise have little requests to actual staff, then go ahead. If you are using drive-thru, go ahead but check your order several times to make sure it's correct. Otherwise, skip this spot. read more

The customer service at this location is the worst! A few of the employees try their best to ignore you and seem to hate their jobs. If you can go to Greenbelt or Martin Luther King Hwy do it. Service is much more professional and friendly; save yourself the frustration. read more
