Super kind staff, but what a mess of a place. It is incredibly busy in the morning. So busy they have one person manning the entire pick up location. Like the only job they have is to call out names. I ordered a sandwich and an iced coffee. Pretty basic. I was late for a meeting because it took 25 minutes. The coffee was out in five but the sandwich took another 20. I was standing there waiting as they microwave five sandwiches at a time. It was about seven rounds until mine was done. They never asked for size for the ice coffee so I got a grande. I think it's because they were so incredibly busy. I will say that the two items tasted good for the first time in my life I wished I went to Dunkin. read more

(Iced) Caramel macchiato was alright. Definitely woke me for the ride home. Maybe a little too sweet for my liking. It increased my blood sugar, resulting with me being extra hyper. One of the more attractive Starbucks locations inside. The wall art in the corner adds a nice touch. And like most of the newest locations, they have the nitro cold brew (which is delicious, btw). But there are exactly zero electrical outlets, which is, for my purposes, a significant problem. And, while I get the reasons for it in urban locations, I'm not a fan of the whole thing where you need a code for the bathroom, either, which they do at this store. Beyond that, it's the usual Starbucks menu and experience. If you're not planning on using electrical outlets or the bathroom, this is a great Starbucks. And, maybe because of the lack of outlets, they had seats available when I visited at a peak time. For those looking for a place to chill and crank out some work, this might not be the ideal locations, though. read more

I just ordered an iced venti London fog to drink on my commute. There was a hot venti cup on the mobile pick up area. I thought to ask the barista if this unmarked cup was for me. It was. She says that making it iced would take too long. This is all during a historic heat wave. Especially egregious because if things are the same as they were when I worked at Starbucks, iced drinks are more expensive because an iced venti is more ounces. I visit various Starbucks wherever I go and generally have positive experiences, with nothing standing out too much for me. I felt the need to write a review for this one because they have great customer service and I was impressed. I had been to this location a couple times and on my third time, the barista at the register remembered what my order was as I was placing it. I was so surprised by this and it felt great to be recognized. There are plenty of seats available, so this location is great for sitting down and talking with a friend. It is located right next to the 125th 1-train stop, so grab some coffee before taking the train. read more

Today I had an annoying experience that I think should be documented. I ordered a vanilla frappe (the one with no coffee) and I specifically asked for caramel to be swirled in the cup (I paid the extra $0.60 for it) and light ice. The cashier looked like he understood, put in the order and the asked for my name. I told him. It isn't that difficult of a name but he looked perplexed nonetheless so I just said: Beyoncé. Plus I wanted them to hear them yell out Beyoncé when my order was ready. But when my order came out the girl yelled, "the other one." Wooooow And to add insult to injury, there was just caramel at the top. I swear, I POLITELY asked for a cup with caramel swirled in to it. She literally side eyed me, took the cup and threw the entire drink out. I'm thinking to myself, oh you MAD mad. All I wanted was her to change the cup, not the drink. Since she seemed annoyed, I decided to watch her make it, you know, just in case. I even added "easy ice please" because I had a feeling she they were going to leave that out the second time. She didn't acknowledge that she heard it. She waited until she made about three more drinks before she whispered something to someone who proceeded to make my drink. Sure enough that person put plenty of caramel and extra whipped cream but the drink itself was probably 85% ice. Idk if it was intentional or not but I was pissed. But of course if I ask them to make it again, I'm a bitch. I wanted to throw my drink at the window as I was walking out. But I am a black woman in America so I can't do that sooooo I decided to write a yelp review. Do better please smh. read more

Last Friday my friend and I were on a 32 miles waterfront greenway loop bike ride and stopped at this location to use the restroom. I requested Marquis at the front desk for the code, but he refused unless I make a purchase. I do understand that it's not a public restroom and even though I wasn't in mood for anything, I assured to buy something after using the facility. He looked straight in my eyes, smiled a condescending smile and said not until I buy something first. Of course I made the purchase, did my business (Oh, and he yelled the code three times, laughing, while I was walking to the bathroom) and left. This is the first location where I don't have to wait for someone to leave in order to get a seat. The interior design is similar to other locations but offers more space and a clean environment! The staff have been great during my visits and the music playlist is pretty sweet too! My new go-to spot! read more

I am so upset! I just fished walking out the store. I went for a bagel and a strawberry drink. Some Hispanic worker with blonde hair ( don't know her name because most didn't have one on ) had the audacity to tell the clerk whom was really nice and attended me, do they really need all that butter!!! 1st of all she needs to mind her business and do her job, because she wasn't even attending me. If my pregnant ass wants 4 butters or even 10 I can do that is my body and money that I am spending!!!! The food wasn't for free!! And just because the music was loud doesn't mean people can't hear things!!!!!! I would never step foot inside that Starbucks again and I buy Starbucks everyday!!! The cashier who took my order was super helpful and patient with me when I wasn't sure about how to order a rehires her, and the worker who gave me my wrap made eye contact with me and told me to have a great day.
