First time at this Starbucks and it was amazing! Super clean, great vibes, and friendly baristas. I wish I asked for the gentleman's name that helped me out but he was so kind and attentive. I ordered a London fog which was his favorite drink too. He asked me how I enjoy my drink and customized it in a way I haven't ordered before. He also let me know it would take a few minutes since the tea had to steep which I appreciated the heads up. I was delicious! I usually go to the Starbucks by my son's daycare on Michelson and Culver. But I wish this store was the one close to my son's daycare. The minute you walk in, you are greeted by multiple baristas and the cashier is always so friendly. I used to be a partner for 11 years and it's funny now to be on the other side of the counter. This Starbucks is simply Unbelievable. It is a new Starbucks by the way and out of ALL the Starbucks I've been to in over 20 years, this Starbucks by far has the rudest and unkind people working their. I went their on 9/17/25 after 5pm - A lady said Can I help you in a tone that sounded like I was interrupting her and that she didn't want to help me, I said give me a minute, I'm just checking out the menu and she just rolled her eyes back like I was annoying her so I asked her a question about the drinks with no caffeine and her response was so rude and obnoxious, as if she didn't want to help me and she made me feel like I was bothering her, so I just looked at her and she had a weird smirk on her face and I just thought to myself, I don't have to make a purchase here, so I just left. Well, I'm writing this post because on Sunday afternoon me and friend met there for drinks. It was the same lady there - she has a bowl hair cut - I didn't get her name, but it was the same rude lady I remembered from just the past week. We walked up and I said to her, "I would like to try that Charlie Kirk drink" and she said I don't know what you're talking about. I said you know the drink that went viral on social media, it's a mint tea. This rude girl just stood there and looked at me. And she said, I don't know what drink you're talking about. I then said, it's been all over the news, and it went viral and happened in California. So I told her, I would pull it up online and show it to her - so I pulled up the drink and it showed it to her. I said it's called a mint tea majesty with 2 honeys. So I ordered one for me and one for my friend. She then said how do you want the honey, she said she could add the honey to the tea or give me packets - I said I don't know it's my first time ordering this drink but since social medias says 2 honeys, it probably means 2 pack of honeys so give me 2 packs of honey for each drink. She gave me the weirdest look and went to make the drink with another barista behind the counter. When I looked up at them to check to see if they were finished making our drinks they were laughing and cracking jokes as they made our drinks and it didn't feel comfortable. I felt like she was being rude intentionally. I felt like she knew she was being rude to me. So I just walked up to them while they were laughing and when I approached them, they immediately stopped. They handed me the drinks with no honey. So me and my friend went to sit outside with our drinks. It was cooler now that the sun was going down and I could tell the drinks were hot. So we both just talked and waited for at least 10 minutes or more for our drinks to cool down. I knew it was hot, but after at least 10/15 mins it should have been fine to drink. When I drank it, it burned my tongue and it had no honey in it. Now I felt like I knew why they were laughing. I went back inside to get our honey. This girl that is working in this new Starbucks is the rudest, person I've ever seen in a Starbucks. It is Tuesday and I can still feel that my tongue is bruised from the temperature of the tea that I felt like was intentional. I don't know if she treated me this way because I am black. I don't know if she treated me this way because she was having a bad day but I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN! THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BUILT THAT STARBUCKS IF THEY WERE GOING TO HIRE PEOPLE LIKE HER. SHE IS JUST RUDE FOR NO REASON AND SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED HOME. She has a bowl hair cut that has short bangs and her hair is black and when you go in there, you will know it is her because she's the rude lady that works at the register of ALL places. We've all become accustomed to the high level of customer service that Starbucks has to offer. Today, I wanted to purchase whatever my staff wanted and asked if they could accommodate me by having the orders be on 1 ticket, so there would be only 1 receipt vs 10. I was surprised when they said no. It's most likely customer service experiences like this is why this location is rated 3 stars overall. 5 stars would have been easy had the customer experience outweighed that of the connivence of the staff. Other things to note: - the exterior tables and chairs were dirty, table tops covered in crumbs and the handicapped table/chairs were covered in thick spider webs (the kind black widows make). Despite there being no less than 3 staff on shift, the exterior is clearly not a part of opening side work. This attention to detail and store presentation also made a difference in this mediocre customer experience. read more

This Starbucks is located in the same plaza as a Wienerschnitzel and a Wendy's. We ordered with the app so I didn't have to interact with anyone to initiate the order. It took a short time to finish. The employee that put down the item only announced the name of the item we ordered and not the name or if it was an online order, and faced the order sticker inwards so I had to rotate it to verify that it was ours. I assume that unless there was an identical order from someone else with the same name, I received the correct item. The employee sounded tired. I personally love Starbucks and I'm hooked on their ice coffee! It's so good I believe it should be illegal but that's a whole different story. My go to drink is an iced coffee with cinnamon dolce and easy ice. For some reason a lot of the staff not this one but other locations mixed up cinnamon dolce with coconut milk. So I can tell this is a good Starbucks since they know how to read their markings. Always clean, super fast ,and super friendly! This Starbucks gets five stars from me! read more

It's the end of May, overcast and I decided to get my free Birthday item at Starbucks by my work, after driving an hour to get there. A hot caramel macchiato sounded great, to get my caffeine fix. When I walked in, at 7:20am, there were 2 people waiting and one lady being helped. It took about 3-4 minutes for her to be taken care of. Then the next in line ordered, then the cashier called the first lady back over to the register and we had to wait some more. Another cashier came to help, to get the line moving. When it was my time to order, there was very little courtesy. She didn't apologize for the wait. I placed my order, and with in 2 minutes my coffee was ready. The girls making the drinks were wonderful, and I thanked them. I will be back because after all their coffee is great, service was satisfactory, could of been better. read more

Came in today to pick up my mobile order, but they ran out of the panini I ordered. They apologized and let me switch it out for a salad. I offered to pay the difference (if there was any), but they were apologetic and courteous and let me take the salad. They also gave me a $4 card to apply to any drink on my next visit. I've never had problems with this location with both in-store orders or mobile orders and today was the first time there was a small issue. Even so, they handled it with class, professionalism, and great service! I've been to dozens of other locations, but this is by far one of my favorite ones. The drinks are always luke warm and mostly foam, the staff seems overwhelmed and honestly they probably could use one more barista because it does get packed at this location. I've been going here for 5 years, order the same 2 or 3 drinks and the same employees have been waiting on me and they still can't remember who I am. Actually I see the same people in there all the time and they don't remember those people either. This Starbucks is a great one to go to, even though it might be considered a little out of the way (it's not the closest Starbucks to UCI, for one thing). What makes it great? For one thing, you might have the chance to order lattes from the most gorgeous server in the history of Barista-dom. Except the barista is a male (so are they still called baristas?). But he is so lovely to look at! The tip jar sometimes has twenties in it, and my friend and I suspect he is the reason why. The other ones there are great-looking too, strictly speaking, but he pretty much puts them to shame. Boy, I hope none of those people who work there read this.
