So this place is finally not crowded...which is no excuse for the cashier to clumsily put her bare hands all over the top of my coffee cup without a stopper. Normally, I'm pretty gracious about most things, but come on. It's still COVID out, please use common courtesy. The online app says they're out of caramel, but for some reason you can order it in person. Oh, well. Maybe I'm just extra grumpy because I need caffeine.

Thanks for being my go to spot. You guys be ready for me early in the Morning. This people keep this establishment clean and ready for us in the morning. I've become quite the regular

I have enjoyed going to this location. There is either no line, or the line moves quickly. Everyone is super friendly and helpful here. I'm always able to get the pick me up I need or satisfy a sweet tooth. I am giving four stars, because I recently ordered the strawberry acai refresher, and it had no strawberries in it. That was a bummer, and I was in a rush so I didn't make a big deal out of it. I wish I could give four and a half stars, because all of the other drinks I ordered from here tastes like happiness!

Visit enticed by happy hour: BOGO FRAPS and espresso drinks. Cashier handled my "neediness" well, having to scan app to trigger special plus add funds to account for payment. $11.50 for 3 venti Frappuccinos and 1 Iced Caramel Macchiato is higher than making your own but very reasonable for grabbing a drink out and about, especially at 'bucks (pun intended). Drinks took extra long to be made, especially with no other customers waiting. While daughter and I waited, we noticed the indoor seating area full of dudes playing video games on their laptops. WAN Party night aka singles loitering night. I was a bit perturbed that I wasn't given a drink carrier after purchasing 4 bevs. Anyway, the kids enjoyed their cool coffee treats and I was a caffeine bearing hero Dad, at least for one Summer night.

Love the Wards Corner Starbucks. The drive-thru usually has speedy service, especially during the morning rush. I've been inside a few times and I will say that they do a good job of upholding the Starbucks standard. I'm usually greeted with friendly service. It's never too busy here as well, so it's a good location to get some work done. I only drink teas and frappuchinos from Starbucks. They're always made correctly. Today, I got the venti white peppermint moch frapp (yes, it's a venti day). And, it was really good - I love anything made with their peppermint syrup and white chocolate. I also get the pumpkin loaf, it's a must for me - year round.

The entire bottle of Caramel drizzle (NO extra drizzle asked for either) thats a penny sized layer of caramel drizzle

Ive come in here 2 times now within the past week and not only are the employees off when they speak to me they clearly are off at making their drinks? I asked for a SIMPLE caramel macchiato with whip cream and caramel drizzle on the top and this female decides to put the entire bottle of Caramel inside of my cup? Do you want me to get diabetes? Besides that the whip cream did not even cover the top its so sloppy! Sloppy work, coming from CA you would think because its a slower lifestyle out here with no RUSH they would do better? Trash.

    Non-moving super slow line.

Seriously the slowest. I've come to this starbucks four times this week and it's Thursday, each time I have waited in line 15+ minutes to not getting anything because of the incredibly slow service. As of right now I'm at 13 minutes and the line has not moved I'm still 9th in line. Extremely poor time management.

Amazing customer service, management should be proud of their great team! Thank you guys.

Great staff. Clean store. Extremely busy but you can tell they work hard to try and get drinks out quickly. Worth the wait.

I love this area of the city - feels a little small town/a little suburban. I have the coffee passport and was excited to try this new-to-me spot. Mudita sits just off Ocean View Ave practically on the beach. On this visit, there was ample street parking, but I dare say it is tricky on weekends and during the summer. It is in a pedestrian-friendly area, which is a plus, so it's easy to walk to. They do make a point to remind you not to park in the lot belonging to the adjacent shopping center or risk being towed. When I stopped in, it was empty except for one table. I let them know this was my first visit and the staff was happy to tell me about seasonal specials. They have a variety of teas and coffees. I do wish they had a sample of their food menu where they take orders. I didn't notice it until I picked up my drink, so I'll have to return when I have more time to peruse it. For my first visit, I wanted to try a seasonal special drink and opted for the Vietnamese Egg Coffee. It was described as an Americano style drink with egg custard foam. They offer decaf which is a plus so I selected this. It was ready in about 5 mins and was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the size. I wasn't expecting an espresso sized beverage for the price, but probably because I'm used to a Starbucks Americano which is bigger (even for a tall) and has slightly more hot water. The flavor was impressive and I much prefer the espresso Mudita uses! Overall, a great experience. I don't often venture out to OV, but I'll definitely stop back in when in the area!

It's incredibly spacious with high ceilings, tons of natural light, and lots of beautiful details everywhere you look. The front patio is perfect for people watching or just enjoying some fresh air, with lots of space between tables (no awkward eavesdropping here). Inside, the vibe is super chill. There were quite a few people working on laptops, but it didn't feel stuffy or too quiet ... just a comfortable, low-key buzz that makes you want to stay a while. I started off with an iced americano topped with strawberry cold foam. The foam itself was a little thicker than I expected (it was more "whipped cream" than "cold foam"), but honestly, it was delicious. I'd totally order it again. The flavor combination is chef's kiss. A little sweet, a little tangy, and it adds something fun to a classic drink. For food, I went all in on the Box Car Sandwich. If you love grilled cheese, you HAVE to try this. Oozy pepperjack and cheddar, crispy bacon, tomato, avocado, all sandwiched between slices of perfect sourdough. And the special sauce on the side? I could have eaten it with a spoon. I have no idea what's in it, but I want a bottle to take home. I can't wait to come back here and give their espresso martini a try, and their pepperoni swirl pastry looked 10/10.

We got there early and enjoyed their sandwiches for breakfast. I wish they just had a description of the sandwich rather than having to ask the cashier, but she was very helpful and thorough. My husband enjoyed his (very hot) coffee and I enjoyed my coconut mocha. Overall great experience and we can't wait to go back!

First of all can I just say WOW!…read more We were excited at the first because we thought the Neat Bird from Chesapeake had a new location in Norfolk Colley Avenue but there chicken sandwich was even delicious here too with a different owner! We met the owner, he is a cool band guy with a mustache name Dand. The drinks he made for us were so good and so was the way he talked with his staff and the way they worked together. My parner and I had seen that they pride themselfes on Scottish eggs, which we were lucky to try and it was also very delicious! We like that they have the vibe and also a board with many events of the community on the wall to check out while you sip on a delicious expresso martini. Good job to the Bird! now dont go opening another restaurant in Chesapeake or we will all be very confused!

You order at the register, and the staff brings the food out to your table. Everyone was attentive, and we had no issues with the service. We ordered the waffle plate, which came topped with fruit alongside eggs and their house sausage. We also tried the Huevos Rancheros, the Sausage Egg & Cheese sandwich, and a build-your-own omelette. For drinks, we ordered the brown sugar cold brew, dulce de leche cold brew, drip coffee, and an espresso martini. The waffle was huge, and the sides were great. My only complaint was that it could have used more fruit, as there were only a few small pieces. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious and came with a generous serving of avocado. The only thing that caught us off guard was the lack of salsa, since in traditional Huevos Rancheros the salsa is a key component. Even so, the dish was still flavorful and filling. The omelette was excellent, and the breakfast sandwich was equally delicious. I was especially impressed by the house-made jam, house-made hot sauce, and the perfectly seasoned home fries. As for the drinks, the brown sugar cold brew was excellent, but the dulce de leche version was far too sweet for my taste. From what I understood, they use two flavored syrups to make it, and I think using smaller portions of each would create a better balance. We ended up adding oat milk and some drip coffee to tone it down. The drip coffee itself was solid and came with free refills. The espresso martini really tied brunch together for me -- strong, well-made, and delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed both the food and the experience, and we'll definitely be back.
