Very busy location being a smaller one, can only accommodate 18 ppl seated. Not really built for work since only 1 electrical outlet to plug in. Isn't as clean as no one really cleans up during busy hours. The tables are left wet and some dried up gunk. Whatever happened to the cleanliness habits since Covid??? I am here on a Sunday from 11am to 2:30pm. Very busy within that time, slowly cleared around 2pm. That was the only time the trash cans were cleared and straw sleeves and napkins on floor were picked up. Alarm chime went on (fire alarm?) but no one cleared it for about 30 minutes. Staff are talking about customers (drive through ones) and personal lives at more than regular volume talking, tad unprofessional! Even their s'mores Frappuccino ran out of the foam and sprinkles on top. read more

Ugh... I wish I would have looked at the reviews before stopping at this location. I order something simple off the spring menu that I've gotten at other Starbucks locations a number of times before. I assumed it would come hot because they didn't ask and every time I got it before I had gotten it hot without a problem. When it came iced I just said "oh, I didn't want iced". And they told me it's not a hot drink, it doesn't come hot and they can't make it hot because the ube powder won't dissolve in hot water. Huh? If it dissolves in cold... it'll dissolve in hot. So I looked it up because now I'm feeling crazy, and I showed them a quick search says that it's on the Spring menu, and you can get it hot and I showed her how it says to make it. So finally another person comes out and says "well I can guess how to make it....but I can't guarantee it'll be good." And I showed her the recipe on my phone and said "I have the recipe right here if you want it" and she proceeded to call me hostile and that she felt threatened." Wait, what? This place is going downhill fast. This place seems to always have some sort of technology issue where they have to close the cafe. This happened today and the parking lot and drive thru was a mess. I witnessed two almost accidents from people aggressively driving out of the parking lot because the inside was closed. This parking lot is not acceptable for this location! It's too small and needs another way out. Anyways- I placed an order for pick up at the counter. I could see my drinks on the counter yet no one could bring it to me. I get it, get in line, which I did after making a U turn in traffic. Here's an idea- shut off the app option so no one can order ahead and expect to pick their drinks up on time. Hence the whole order ahead idea. Very inconvenienced today as well as many many other people I encountered in the parking lot. Me and three other ladies have decided we will never come beee again because the service is continuing to get worse. this is the second time i have ordered a non dairy vanilla sweet cream cold brew and was given a drink with no label and i'm sure it was not non dairy because after a couple of sips i got extremely sick. i have a dairy allergy!!! this place is terrible and needs to realize that people order certain items like this for a reason like they have dairy allergies!!! i am very upset about this and just want other people to be aware and not have to experience this. allergies can be life threatening to certain people. they need to get it together at this place. read more

We went inside the store to get our order. Capacity is limited, so there was no one in line ahead of us. The store is clean and the displays are nicely set up and full. Social distancing is enforced. The friendly staff is all wearing masks and require the customers to wear them as well. There are clear dividers on the counters to separate the staff vs customers. We got our orders right away, a mix of specialty teas and coffees and breakfast sandwiches, and sous vide egg bites to go. We followed the arrows on the floor as they direct you to go in from one set of doors and out the other set of doors. Glad we decided to go inside and get everything quickly. Even though there was snow outside, we beat the super long drive thru line. Our coffees/teas and food was definitely good to start off our day. read more

The workers here are rude and inconsiderate. I had placed 5 drinks and 4 food items. And the drinks were about all the same. Nothing too hard. Only one of the drinks needs the espresso machine. As a drive thru worker myself. I would have never asked anyone to come inside if they directly used the drive thru. I understand it can be stressful but asking someone to come inside after the order was already placed is unacceptable. In general you are a drive thru worker and if the drive thru has limits then they should be posted. The man at the drive thru speaker took our whole order just to ask "Can I be a pain? Can you guys come inside it's a big order?" The atmosphere here was very unwelcoming and not pleasant at all. I really only go to starbucks because I can easily order on my phone and go pick it up without interacting with anyone. Almost always my order is messed up in being I order something hot and it ends up iced. There has also been multiple times Ive had to take a loss and leave due to them being super behind on orders and standing waiting a half hour for a coffee is not worth it. read more

I was at the new Lisbon location and I was stuck waiting for over 5 minutes for a grande cup of ice. now I understand they take priority in other things within the establishment but a cup of ice takes less than 2 seconds to make and give to the customer. this would never happen at the Norwich location but I just had to write it here since the new Lisbon location has no place to make reviews. I ordered a Venti Java chip frap. I receive a grande with no mocha syrup. I go inside and let them know so it can be fixed. I was met w a rude barista who came off as bothered by this. I get my new venti frap but still no mocha syrup in it. At this point I leave unsatisfied with no drink. I hope management can train the baristas better on drink recipes for the future. We've had two encounters with this Starbucks location- one was a drive thru and the second was an in person order. The drive thru experience was awful and the line moved slowly. The barista (Rosy) got our order wrong. We ordered 2 drinks and she put both drinks into ONE venti cup.. later they tried to tell us, "it was fixed," when we still saw the sweet cream on top when it wasn't suppose to be in there... It's my go to order and I know what my order normally looks like. We are still in shock that they tried to send us off by acting like it was, "fixed." We were later asked to pull up to the front of the store. After about 5 minutes of waiting outside, Kate came out and she was a gem. She took our exact order on a piece of cardboard box and repeated it back to us to ensure there were no mess ups this time around. Great service from Kate!! However our second visit was the in person visit and it was a complete fail! We thought it would be better if we went in stores since it was a large order, but nope. It didn't matter because it was just as bad as the drive through.. The cashier was new and we waited 10 minutes to even get to the register when there were only 3 people in front of us. We ordered 5 drinks and every drink she messed up on. She either didn't write down the syrup we asked for or it was the wrong size. After getting our drinks and getting in the car, we realized 3 drinks didn't have the white mocha or caramel syrup we had requested... we were later informed with, "she is new." I understand she's new, but there shouldn't be a problem with 5 out of 5 drinks we ordered. The drinks that were for our guest and myself were a huge fail. We ended up having to toss it out after a couple sips. Sad because these are normally all our go to's. Overall this is the worst Starbucks yet. Both experiences started out terribly due to incorrect drink orders. Stay away from this location if you can. They can't even get a simple espresso order correctly.. read more

This Starbucks with Drive Thru is a very convenient place to stop for good coffee drinks, located off I-395 Exit 11 to the east. I've stopped in at this Starbucks several times for fresh brewed coffee, hot tea, and frappuccinos before heading to Mohegan Sun. The service here is friendly and efficient. I've placed mobile orders to this store and it's usually ready when I get here. The inside layout is a bit cozy with adequate seating and power outlets. The parking space situation can be limited during busier times. There is also a Starbucks inside Mohegan Sun, but the prices there are inflated compared to the standard corporate pricing at this store and my Gold Starbucks Rewards perks like free refills on fresh brewed coffee and tea are good here during the same visit. read more

I cannot believe the service I received while ordering from my local starbucks this morning. While going through the drive through this morning with my family, we ordered 5 drinks and were inconsiderately cut off before we finished placing our food order. The man taking our order interrupted us saying "can I be a pain and ask you to come inside to place an order of this size?". We said sure and proceeded to exit the facility. The indecency this worker had to ask us to leave the drive through and go inside while there was only 2 cars in the drive through ahead of us and nobody in sight behind our vehicle. If I were to place this exact order online, they would have never given us the attitude and hostility we felt. This Starbucks used to be a lot better when they first opened for business. They no longer prioritize the in-person customer. They are often inundated with mobile orders, leaving the in-person customer waiting and waiting so they can fill orders for people who aren't even on the premises yet. Also, the outside seating area is not well maintained so it often feels dirty out there. read more

Me and my boyfriend just left the drive through after we both waited 10 mins. we ordered a grande java chip and a large java chip. FIRSTLY, they do not look the way they should and the taste is like bland water with chocolate chunks. Very disappointed. The staff here has always been super friendly but my coffee is never what I order! This makes 3 times now that I have stopped by on my way to work and ordered an Iced Venti vanilla latte. I always go through the drive through because my son is with me and it's more convenient. Today I got vanilla flavored milk! It always seems like there is only one person making the drinks so he/she is super overwhelmed and doesn't put out a good product. If I could give this location zero stars I would. I visited this location yesterday morning on my way to work and it was the worst experience ever. I went into the location because the line was wrapped around the business thinking it would be quicker. Boy was I fooled. I've been in the restaurant business for 15 years and the service here was horrible. One of the workers there I'm not sure her name but she was the only one wearing black with a million pins on her hat took my order quickly but waiting for two beverages took literally 15 mins. Now I'm standing there waiting for my beverages 10 mins go by still no drinks. I see customers coming and going picking up their orders and I'm still standing there. 11 mins in the first drink came up. I asked where's my other drink the girl with all the pins on her hat said I'm sorry I don't know we'll get that out for you right away. And instead of stopping to do what she was doing to get me mt other beverage she continued to make other drinks. I said can I have my other drink I have to go ive been here for 15 mins. Instead of apologizing she stated we have like 600 drinks to make. Very very unprofessional and needs customer service training. She actually gave me a gift card which I didn't care about I just wanted my order. If that girl was the manger well I think she needs another position and her actions led me to believe she is a racist. The way she acted towards me and the way she made me feel was my order didn't matter because I am brown. I've been to many Starbucks especially living in CA and never was treated this way. The only Starbucks in the area, really happy that these guys are here! Quick service and a really friendly staff and the ambience is really cool inside the space. They use the space that they have inside pretty well. The biggest complaint is the parking spots. I go to this Starbucks location very frequently, it's my favorite location to go to in the area. Some barista's know me by name and greet me once I walk in. There have been times where I'm standing in line and a barista asked if I was getting my regular order and was able to have it ready for me by time I finished paying. The service is phenomenal!! Small things like not warming up items we've requested like a bagel or a croissant, not putting in coconut milk instead of regular milk, nothing big. Today however was a joke. The drinks can be pretty good here, but sometimes they still aren't made right and I only get two types of the lemonade refreshers. One time my mango dragonfruit lemonade looked and tasted like it had raspberry flavoring in it which I did not order. This is one of only the couple starbucks around and it gets frustrating when there is no parking or long wait lines even after putting a mobile order in 5-10 minutes beforehand. Totally not the employees fault that there is limited parking and limited starbucks around. Just something to take note of at this location. However, a couple of the employees really do take their sweet time with making some of the drinks as well, and just leave them out while walking away to make another drink, which can be slightly annoying. Yet since it is one of the only starbucks in the area and some of the workers are so sweet, efficient and make the drinks deliciously, I will give it 3 stars, but a few tweaks here and there and it could for sure be 5 stars. read more

I've been here twice. I ordered a caramel frappuccino, when I got to the window I noticed that it didn't have any whip cream. I kindly asked if I should ask for whip cream next time, seeing how some states do stuff differently, and she rudely informed me that a caramel frappuccino never comes with whip cream. Yano I'm a new Starbucks customer the coffee is great BUT today I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and it was HORRIBLE. The bread was stale, there was three very small pieces of chicken barely even visible, there was NO balsamic drizzle in the sandwich as described, and the pesto tasted like it had gone bad. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Basically all bread. If I wanted toast I could have had it at home and saved myself 6 bucks. I will never order food from there again. You guys should really polish your workers and teach them how to make quality food if you want to sell more food. read more
