This is my go to Starbucks especially when I'm heading to work or doing work. Great location, great customer service. The staff are amazing and personable. The coffee is made just right. The remodel is nice. It a little bit of time for adjusting to new ambiance. As time progressed. They've added small pieces to improve the decor. Im inspired to add to my home. read more

The only good part was the drink tasted like it should. Walking in, we weren't really greeted. Wasn't too sure of where the line was because a couple of customers kept standing by the register queue when turns out they had ordered and there was plenty of room for them to stand by the counter where the drinks are placed. A teenaged girl came to the counter and started talking a couple of the workers and I assume they all go to school together. I don't mind the catching up if the customer is able to be put first but when we got our drinks, we didn't get a sleeve to keep it from being too hot in our hands. We tried to ask but they just went back to talking and that was unprofessional. So we just walked out. There also wasn't any coffee shop music or something to drown out the sound. We basically heard the whole conversation between the workers and the girl who were talking. Definitely not the best Starbucks or even in a top 5. It's not worth going back to. I'll go out of my way to go to another location. read more

This review is for the management and owner of the oak lawn location. For the amount of business this place gets they should add more staff. In the morning, I only go to drive thru if there is one car or no car in front of me. If I decide not to go due to line of cars then I go to the Starbucks in Aurora (where I work nearby). They have cars lined up and are absolutely quick on drive thru orders so I take my business there instead at Aurora. The Oak Lawn workers, as busy as they are, handle things with grace, customer service is great but due to lack of staff and rushing orders, sometimes the baked goods are half warmed up or the drink isn't made exactly as they should be. Management should stop being so damn cheap and hire more staff. Get real! A drink is $5-7 dollars so at least put in the staff. Stop being greedy. read more

The wait is super long!! There were people who ordered after me and got there items and drinks before me! My drink was made horrifically wrong and I'm very disappointed from this Starbucks. Love this location because it is closest to my home. I've only gone through the drive-thru, but never had an issue. Pretty fast, order is correct, service is friendly. I frequent this Starbucks a lot on my way home. Usually the drive through is packed and takes a long time. I have started to come into the store in hopes of getting my drinks quicker. I always thought they were short staffed but no they just have a very chatty staff - who aren't very good at multitasking. I have been going to this location since it opened. At first the service was great and fast. As time went on I started to have attitude issues with some of the staff and there service started to get slower. Last time I was in the drive thru it took 30 minutes, at one time we didn't move for over 10 minutes. read more

I love starbucks. Hands down amazing coffee. But for this location I'd have to give two stars. One thing the staff deff needs to be friendlier, never are upbeat and seem to care about the customers. The worst part is the wait the other day I sat in the drive thru for 25 min and the lady at the window rushed almost forgetting to give me car back barely said hi just handed my drinks and said have a nice day. I have had less than awesome experiences at this particular Starbucks. They have been consistently slow in drive thru. I try to avoid this drive thru if possible due to longer than comparable Starbucks drive thru times in the past. My latest experience and the one that broke the camels back for me was I was in the drive thru for not lying 11 minutes. BUT I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE DRIVE THRU AT THE TIME! There was a car at the window but they were there for about 30 seconds before pulling away. In my head I thought SWEET I'll actually get out of here at a reasonable time BUUUUT NOPE. What took so long for the order you ask: was my order big, did I order an obnoxious drink, or was I being an overly needy customer?? I SERIOUSLY ONLY ORDERED A GRANDE SKINNY MOCHA!! LIKE STARBUCKS BABY HONEY SWEET HEART I ONLY ORDERED BASICALLY A HOT CHOCOLATE COFFEE. The fact that I ordered a wicked simple drink and it took them that long to get it together is grossly unacceptable for any coffee shop. However what really set me off BESIDES their time laps was the girl with rainbow hair at the drive thru window was EXTRA RUDE and basically thought it was funny that it was taking SO long. She stood at the window doing NOTHING to help her coworkers get this now accumulating line down some. NOPE she had to fix the straws a bit, dilly dally, shuffle around some but actually being a team player she was not and my time was the victim. It just chapped my a** that she thought it was funny. So moral of my story please feel free to come to this Starbucks please don't let me stop you. I would come here if you have available time on your hands. I would be leery about stopping here if you have a time crunch! I know unequivocally I will avoid this particular Starbucks due to repeat lack of respect of their customers time. read more

Ok so when I go into a coffee shop I expect the counter to be maintained in a manor that is geared towards the customer. Coffee shops should be maintained by bubbly and friendly people who put customer service on the same level of product quality as the beverages served. I don't, however, expect to be told to wait when there is NOTHING going on and only 1 customer in the drive thru. The grisly, downtrodden woman returned several minutes later, with the drive thru baristas completely ignoring us as well, to take our order. I don't appreciate laziness on slow hours, it shows a poor work ethic. The drinks tasted the same as always, I'm not a frequent Starbucks customer, I prefer plain black coffee, which appears to be the most difficult item to order from this place... I like this location they always seem to get my drink selection correct and the staff is always friendly. The only thing weird that I have never experienced from this location was when I went through the drive thru and asked the window staff person could they please dispose of my old Starbucks cup that I had finished she informed me that per the store policy they could not throw cups away even if it is their cup. Not sure if that is true or not because I have asked other locations to do the same thing in the drive through line and they didn't have a problem so maybe she just didn't want to go out of her way my disposing my old Starbucks cup or maybe it is policy and every other location just didn't find it a problem to dispose of my cup. She said but if I was to bring the cup inside myself I could throw it away in the same garbage can, go figure. read more
