I noticed a lot of bad reviews about this location, but decided to give it a try anyway. I used the drive thru, they were friendly and fast. They got my order correct and looked efficient while doing it, so I'll give them 4 stars. My only suggestion will be placing a bigger Starbucks sign outside & near the road. The existing one is so small that it's hard to determine there is a Starbucks located at this place, I drove by twice past the shopping center until we noticed the tiny Starbucks sign, which was covered by trees and other items. read more

For a beverage to cost 7 dollars I would prefer if I could at least get the drink I ordered. This is not the first wrong order I've received from this location. Nothing was actually done to rectify the situation when I called to let them know I received the incorrect order for the 5th time. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but my wifey is a Starbuck's addict so I'm constantly running to one to get her a drink. Good hubby I know. I've been to this location a few different times so far while we're on vacation in Orlando this week. This location is extremely busy and appears to be filled with tourists...like me. The store itself is smallish with extremely limited outdoor seating and a poorly designed drive through. The creamer and sugar station is right next to the door. Bad Spot! Every time I have been there I have noticed people just stand over there and wait blocking it for people like myself who want to use it. When they are very busy, customers are just standing everywhere with no real orderly fashion. Today (Sunday Feb 5th 2012) a group of aggravated dance moms (proudly wearing their matching yellow t-shirts exclaiming their daughters accomplishments) were in there waiting for their orders when apparently someone forgot to order a drink. As I was standing in line waiting to order, one of the dance moms gets behind me. Just as it's my time to order, aggravated dance mom asks me if I'm ready to order in a pissy tone. Like that dumb a$$ person at a red light who honks just as the light turns green before you can even react to press the gas pedal, aggravated dance mom was honking that proverbial horn. I'm an easy going guy but she annoyed the heck out of me, enough for me to reply back to her question with an equally pissy tone of "easy dance mom, yes I am". I could tell the Batistas thought that was funny and well deserved. They must have been a handful the first time around. Okay, enough side story, sorry guys. Based on the amount of traffic they get, these Baristas work fast and furious and do it with a smile on their face. They are 5 star material all the way! The drinks are typical Starbucks quality. The old stand by is Venti White Chocolate Mocha (hot or iced depending on mood) or a good ole regular coffee, cream and sugar. Based on the poor layout/design of the store, I had to knock it 1 star but in NO WAY is based on the service. These guys rock! Keep up the hard work! read more

I've avoided this Starbucks for years due to repeat bad experiences, but my my mother convinced me to try them again because it was the most convenient location to our hotel and I'm glad she did. I visited this Starbucks 5 different days this week and every time they were friendly and knowledgeable. A few times they were a little slow, but they are very kind and have up beat personalities. One staff member was unable to make my dry cappuccino even after remaking it, but was willing to try again. I told her not worry and drank it as it was, but it was far from dry. She's not the first barista I've met who struggles to make dry foam and I'm sure she won't be the last. Her personality and willingness to try again was enough for me. I removed one star for speed and the inabalility of the one barista even though her customer service was 5 stars. This is an ideal Starbucks team and I am happy to recommend this location to anyone visiting the Orlando area. read more

I love drive thru Starbucks. I can get my coffee in the morning on my way to work without having to get out of my car. It is spectacular slash convenient. And I am a simple coffee drinker. Give me a grande black bold and I am a happy camper. DO NOT FORGET MY GREEN lid blocker so it doesn't spill all over my clothes. Been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt. Overall, I love this Starbucks. The only reason it doesn't get the 5th star is because it is not the Starbucks in Northville, Michigan. If you have been there, you would understand. read more

Ah, here I sit in a very standard USA Starbucks, replete with drive-thru, adequate seating, a traditional layout, outside seats as well, and pretty good coffee. At least you know what you're getting, anywhere in the world, when you come here, and the atmosphere is comfortable and familiar. I'll be back. The line was pretty long here in the drive thru and inside. I ordered an iced white mocha which was made poorly and an everything bagel which was standard for Starbucks. The employees were extra friendly here which may have contributed to the long line because they made sure to have a conversation with every customer. read more

First morning that I visited this Starbucks was to order a venti iced coffee with three pumps of vanilla and no classic. I received the iced coffee with not only three pumps of vanilla but six pumps of classic. It was much too sweet so I had to toss the cup. I returned the second morning of my stay in Orlando to order my same exact order. This time I find out that they have run out of iced coffee. No problem (I guess). I order an iced Americano with cream and no sweetener and carried on with my day. My third and final visit was for my delectable iced coffee order to find out that they have again run out of iced coffee. I am unsure how you can be a coffee shop that is continuously running out of coffee. 2/5 for at least having Americano. read more

I come to this location often, because the workers at this location are super friendly and welcoming. However, two days ago I witnessed a disturbing incident while sipping my coffee with my husband in the morning. One of the friendly workers that welcome me always and does my drink, was badly crying after what appears to be a conversation with I believe a tall man with a hat who seems to be the manager. I was not following the conversation that was very loud and intense from his behalf exactly, but that man kept saying harsh things to this young lady and kept going on in front of us and multiple people outside as she started crying. I was ashamed to have not intervened at the moment especially as the young lady left five minutes into the rough conversation and continued crying as she walked accross the area to the other plaza. I am writing this review because I feel guilty for not standing up at that moment to help that girl. Whatever the nature of the conversation is, that man who is her leader or manager, should of never talked to her in such a manner. I hope that young lady is okay. read more

There aren't any other drive thru Starbucks in the area but you might as well take the time to go in to any other location because this one always takes forever. I've come back several times to give it another chance and without fail it takes 10+ minutes to get through the drive thru even when it's not busy. Very mixed opinion here. I have always had great service. Today was no exception. I didn't know what I wanted so the employee made a recommendation and said if I didn't enjoy it, I could switch it for something else. So that's good customer service. My only gripes are that it can sometimes get very busy with it being the tourist area.... but everyone should expect that anyway in orlando. Now for the real complaint. Every time I go in, it always seems like there are some off duty employees sat at the bar stools. And they are always loudly complaining and whining about the company and their job. Randomly I got into convo with the cashier at the drive through explaining I don't like coffee and she was so nice and began recommending new non coffee drinks for me to try. This Starbucks is horrible! They are sloooooow as all get out! I have never waited in a Starbucks drive thru for more than 5 minutes--and with this one it takes them 5 minutes per guest...so you can easily sit in line for a good 30 minutes which is INSANE! They over charge & when called to complain instead of replacing drink the barista spun some story about how they charge for extra milk. As a barista I have never even heard of this policy!! I have been drinking the same drink for 3 years, made the same way, & this drink was horrible! Maybe they need to recalibrate their espresso machine! Avoid this Starbucks! I went to this location over the weekend to work on my blog and enjoy a pumpkin spice latte before driving home. It was the closest one to where I was. A nice location, the staff was friendly and was having a great time singing. I would have liked a couple larger tables to work at, needing a plug for my laptop, I had to use a small round table. This store never ceases to impress me. Great customer service, professional, & friendly! I only go 2-3/month & the night-shift barista's remember me time after time. Such a warm inviting feeling. To be honest I normally avoid this location at all costs. It's in a high traffic, very touristy area so usually crazy. Today I could not help the craving so I had to make a stop, and then I had to stop and write this because I was pleasantly surprised with really great service from Marissa in the drive thru! It was just after 5:00 so pretty busy, and she was so friendly and really quick and efficient. The only thing this location has going for it is its drive through. And even then it has taken me 15 minutes with myself and another car in line. The fastest it's ever been has been at 6 am, when there's is not one soul in there. Going in in person is not much different. I just really want it be better but every time I go i am bitterly disappointed. One of my friends had a drink remade twice because they kept using whole milk even though she asked for soy (she is lactose intolerant). Average Starbucks location. Small size parking lot, but they do have a drive thru. Spacious seating area, cramped ordering line. Lots of employees making drinks, slow service if you order anything beyond a coffee. Friendly employees, rude customers who take mobile orders that aren't theirs.
