Very good place. Nice remodel with a comfee vibe. The staff is friendly and all have remarkable memories! They make an effort to remember drink orders of their customers despite filling hundreds of orders each day. The store can get pretty busy because of the location, but they seem to try and hurry up fulfilling the orders. They are friendly to their regular patrons. Also, despite differing personalities, the staff always seem to find a laugh between themselves. Internal tension among staff can spread to the customers. I don't find that here. My only request would be for more coffee house jazz music. But that is a personal preference. read more

I've been going to this Starbucks every month or two for many years, including when they had a smaller location in the same plaza. They, like most Starbucks, are very consistent. You know you'll get what you order in a reasonable amount of time. They have a nice seating area. While it is smaller than some others, it is comfortable. We rarely go and sit in a Starbucks. We had an active day and decided we needed the pampering. So, a couple of foo-foo drinks later, we felt great and left. The problem with reviewing Starbucks is its consistency, particularly in the suburbs. It is only sometimes consistent in the city, and the service could be better. I used to go to Starbucks at least once a day and sometimes more. After realizing how much we were spending, we only went on special occasions or for a treat. So, on this visit, it was quiet, and there weren't many people in the store. Their drive-through was backed up. We were able to go in, order our drinks, sit and converse, and then leave happily. read more

drinks yes good but the fact I have to sit and wait for 30 minutes for two drinks is crazy considering I was watching a worker make drinks constantly but all of them were past the time that they were ordered. This for the new Starbucks at 791 E Dundee. This opened up about a month and a half ago. It's just like every other location. Friendly baristas, it's nice and clean and although the lines might look long they get you out of there fast. They have a nice outdoor seating area with plenty of tables and umbrellas. They also have a drive thru so that's very convenient. I've been here a few times and I've never experienced bad service and my drinks are always made just right. read more

It's Starbucks. People usually like it or don't. I like it however unless it's a special time of the year, my order is the iced venti black coffee. It's under $2. Some of the other drinks I would recommend: Pumpkin Spice Latte (Fall) - Hot or Cold, both are delicious depending on the the weather. White Chocolate Mocha (Hot for the winter, Iced or a Frapp for the summer) The Skinny Vanilla Latte (Hot or Iced; I prefer Iced) The Skinny Peppermint Mocha (Hot is the way to go, doesn't taste any different then the normal peppermint mocha) Passion Iced Tea Lemonade (only iced) delicious, refreshing summer drink. Java Chip Frappuccino (cold) this is one of my favorite of all time. Coffee with chocolate chips whipped inside. Ask them to add some peppermint flavoring if you're a fan of mint. It'll taste just like Mont chocolate chip ice cream, which is the best kind! read more

Ordered my everyday Trenta iced passion tea in the drive thru, they put some type of citrus flavoring in it. Being sensitive to citrus, I went in to get my drink made without what I thought at first was lemonade. They told me there was no lemonade in it, so I said that I could taste some citrus in there. They made another one, tasted exactly the same as the first one. They kept denying there was any citrus or lemonade and didn't stop until I told them I'm pretty much allergic to citrus. Been to this location multiple times but the last few times I've ordered (drive thru) there is always something off about my order. I'm not too high maintenance but my order is a vanilla soy latte, no foam(soy for whatever reason produces more foam IMO). The latte ends up with lots of foam or no vanilla flavor. I know if I ask they can fix it, but people go to the drive thru for a reason, its quick and you dont have to get out of the car esp when you are in a rush. Today was my third and LAST time at this Starbucks. I was so excited when this location opened since it is so close to my house, but each time is worst than the last. Today, I went through the drive through and they gave me the wrong order. OK so now I have to go inside and tell the girl it's wrong (nowhere close) and she says no problem- recites my order back and I confirm. Then the drive through chick comes over and makes a drink, yells it out to the crowd without acknowledging me. I just keep standing there because it isn't mine. I don't want hazelnut. Then she turns at me and says - this is yours. "I ordered toffee nut" I tell her. Then she tries to convince me otherwise. Now the second screw up. She rolls her eyes and dumps the drink down the drain like its my fault! Seriously?! RUDE. I just look at the first girl who got it right when I came in and she kindly makes it. I take a sip in the car and it is disgusting! Just like the last two times I went here! They rock at doing light ice! I have only been here once and I ordered my usual drink, grande iced caramel macchiato with light ice. Man was I happy. Was really busy this morning so I saw that board that offered ordering via their app. I decided to try it. That was very easy to find what I wanted and order (5 stars). I then waited over by the pick up area and waited. One employee threw a bag on the counter and ran off. She came back and placed a coffee next to the bag. I waited for a few minutes then finally asked if that was my order. The barista looked at it and asked if I was Brian. I acknowledged. She handed me the order and apologized for not knowing what to do since she was new. I appreciate her candor, but recommend that the Starbucks train their employees better. Then I went and sat down to eat my oatmeal and drink the coffee. They didn't put the pack of blueberries in the bag so I went back to get them. The employee that threw the bag originally said they were out of blueberries. She apologized and offered to give me my money back. If they had been more communicative and told me before I picked up the order, I could have accepted the problem easier. If I wasn't eating at the store, I would have been really upset thinking they just forgot to give me them. Better training and communication would make the experience better. read more

I've been somewhat of a regular at this location for the last six months due to its close proximity to my house. 3-4 times a week, on my way to work, I hit the drive thru. The long lines in the morning and during lunch time rush don't bother me, I expect and plan for them. What bothers me is the 50/50 chance my drink is made correctly. Usually the morning crew is much more consistent when it comes to my very simple order. However, the afternoon crew is a roll of the dice every time I've used the drive thru. Walking inside seems to work better, I assume because the orders aren't on a timer or something. I'd rather wait a few more minutes and have my very simple order correct than to have an undrinkable cup of over priced coffee on ice. Which I throw in the trash if made incorrect. please train your staff to one standard and from there you can easily make adjustments to cater to what people like. Please don't stress or rush your staff to just push drinks out, the inconsistency of your product is why I drive 15 minutes out of my way now, though I pass by this particle location everyday. read more
