First, definitely plan to spend some extra time here because the food and drinks can take a while to come out. The raspberry hibiscus tea especially doesn't taste as fresh as it used to. It almost has an "old" taste to it, and I'm not sure if they changed the syrup or the way it's made, but it definitely doesn't taste the same as it did when they first opened. I've also noticed that the coffee is very inconsistent. Even when I order the exact same drink, it seems to taste different every time. Some days it's really good, and other days it tastes completely different. I'm sharing this because I genuinely used to enjoy Trio, and I'd love to see the consistency and quality return to what it was when they first opened. Do try the turkey and Pesto croissant as that's the only that tastes amazing each time I get it!

Thursday around 6:50 am came to get my coffee. I ordered a venti caffe latte with whip at kids temp. Got my drink it tasted like water with whip. Disgusting! So I kindly asked the lady at the front if we could remake it cuz it tasted like water. She looked at me PISSED with nasty attitude. So i tried telling her how I wanted my drink at kids temp mid way through my sentence she turned her back on me and started reading the label. Fine. I let it go went back to my seat. She redid the drink and just set it on the table. Didn't even call me. So I went to go get it. Tasted it. NASTY! And BOILING HOT. Didn't get her name but she was the only one wearing a white shirt. The next day, when I attempted to use the $50 bill to make a purchase, I noticed that it was damaged. I immediately returned to the Pilot Travel Center and explained the situation, requesting a simple bill exchange. Unfortunately, the employee declined to exchange the bill, even though she and her coworker were there when I had originally received it. Instead of resolving the issue, I was told to come back at 11 PM that Sunday. I find this response very frustrating and unacceptable. Pilot Travel Center should be accountable for the condition of the bills they accept and then give back to their customers. Customers should not be left stuck with damaged money after making a purchase at your store. I hope management looks into this situation and trains employees on how to properly handle situations like this. This could have been easily resolved with a simple bill exchange, but instead I was left feeling like my concern was being ignored.
