I will never come back here. When we arrived, everyone was nice and greeted us, which I appreciated. However, after that, all the staff focused on the drive-thru--even though there was no line. We were standing at the counter waiting to place our order, and employees looked at us without tending to us. I used to work in a very fast-paced environment, so I understand how busy things can get. Great location for when I am paying down my credit card next door at US Bank. I pop in to get an iced matcha or iced tea during summer and hot teas during winter. Due to abuse of the public bathrooms by the homeless they are no longer available, however the nearby Washoe County Library on the corner opposite the Starbucks and US Bank customers parking lot does have public bathrooms still. The staff at this Starbucks locations is BOMB!!! Seriously, the nicest Starbucks in Reno area. I feel like no matter the day, time, and weather the baristas have always greeted me with a big smile and they sound cheer-y :) Couple of weeks ago, I tried to return a merchandise at another location--got a grande tumbler and found a venti version so didn't need the smaller size. They said it couldn't be done (give me my refund) due to the holiday sales that are going on and that I must return when the sales are over. Welp, I thought "what if the sale continued, will that mean I won't get a refund and I'll be stuck with the merch?". Out of a whim, I took the merch and my receipt to this location when I decided to stop by for a pastry before heading home one day. And what do you know, they got it done with no problem! By the way, the sale continued but only now they're on clearance sooo yup, if I had gone back to the other location I would not have gotten my money back as it is now past the refund date. The only reason this location is not five stars, and to no fault to the baristas, is that they don't seem to carry all the merch that I'd like and which is why I have to go to other locations for them. I do understand that each store gets their own delivery and I was told they never know what they're going to receive so it is just something that I have to keep in mind when I have to drive to another location to find a particular merch. read more

Hello we love coming to the Starbucks at the grand Sierra. It is amazing. Customer service is always awesome fast quick and amazing we come all the way from Sacramento and we'd love to be here. We love the club. We love the casino. We love the awesome employees at Starbucks and everything that's here. Everything is super amazing and nice and fast And the rooms are incredible and they have microwaves and it's just amazing. We love coming here and we come just not the gamble but we come just to have fun. My kids love the movies the Bolden hall over the summer we got to experience the pool outside the adult section where they had the bar really enjoy it here just a little time to get away and have fun, everybody's always friendly and happy and I love it. Behind the US Bank Bldg, in the parking lot. I noticed that 98% of their business is drive thru, and didn't know why until today when I tried to go in at 9am on a Saturday, when a Starbucks in ANY other location would be packed inside, with people meeting up and enjoying coffee, and talking, THIS place is dead empty and 9am. One door is locked, so welcoming, so go to the other door, and it's open. Not a stick of furniture in the place. Bathrooms closed to the public. They have made this Starbucks anti-people is every way. Downtown. Where people are always around, wanting to meet up. Why? Obviously they don't want people to go inside or stay inside if they do come inside. There is no sugar, no cream, no stir sticks available to anyone. Homeless people issue? Maybe? Covid issue? I would say maybe but they relaxed those rules a LONG time ago! They simple don't want people inside. So don't bother unless you're in your car in the drivethru. Visiting from Baltimore, Maryland for a Reno wedding. We wanted to walk around a long the river side to explore some of the different morning shops, cafes, etc. and found this Starbucks because no other cafe was open that early. We, as always, know our order already. We walk in to a five to six staffed location of which all are signing whatever was blasting on the speakers. It was very loud but it was so refreshing and nice compared to all other locations we've been to. So, the ambience for us was perfect for a kick start to the morning. Loved it! Thank you! We ordered our normal, Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato and Venti Pike Place with room. Lovely as always and very challenging to mess up. They're both pretty staple. We met our friends who are from the area, sat out on the patio to the south side of the building and just caught up since we haven't seen them in years. During the time we were there, we noticed a Native American activist movement occurring which had us engaged. Overall, we had a positive experience at this location. While siting on the patio, we did notice the drive-thru line was very full always, but was moving quickly which proved to me that the morning rush employees were doing their best which was great. Of course, each Starbucks will vary slightly in these areas but overall it's usually a safe place for a decent coffee beverage no matter where you are in the country. This particular Starbucks is what many would consider my "neighborhood" Starbucks. It's the closest Starbucks to my house and the one I usually go to on my way to work, before running errands, or on my way out of town. I want to give some major kudos to the employees at this location. The service is always friendly and welcoming--even with the more colorful downtown Reno patrons. One of the workers making the food was chewing gum, touching his hair and touching the food with his bare hands, when you are supposed to use tongs. This is cool. Great windows open on the world around. This is a very down in the city sort of place to get your coffee. And not only do they have all the standard Starbucks stuff. But they have the clover here as well. I've not seen it anywhere else in Reno. There are five different coffees available on this special brew process. Don't know much about it...but I guess it's like a french press and a vacuum put together. My coffee was rich and dark. Just like I like my..... ANYWAY... The parking here seems a bit bothersome but there are still a decent number of spots. And lastly...they have glass mugs! That Makes it A-OK This is the shiny new location (OK it has been there for almost a year now) and is my go to spot when I have earned a free drink through the star rewards program. So, what I usually expect: + Pleasant service + Consistency of product + Free WiFi + Clean public area + Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere This spot usually hits all the marks. It is not the most relaxing Starbucks, more geared to the laptop warrior crowd and the last time I was here the counters and tables needed cleaning. It wasn't gross, just needed wiping down. The space is open and light with lots of windows. The small patio is also nice during warmer weather. I prefer the local coffee shops, but this will do when I have a freebee. read more
