I brought my dog into the Starbucks today and was immediately turned away by Jackson with questions and informing me that they didn't allow Dogs and asking if he was even a service dog (which is not allowed to be asked). The last couple of times I've been to this location, the same young lady took my order. Unfortunately, both times she was not welcoming. She never smiled, she had a cold demeanor, and was impatient and abrupt even though it was slow and I was the only person ordering. The other employees seemed much friendlier both times. There were a couple of weeks between the two visits. In between thetwo visits, I went to another location and had a much better experience with the person taking my order. In the future, I will be switching to another location for my Starbucks if things here don't improve. read more

My partner and I felt we were discriminated against by the staff. The female cashier was not friendly and when I asked about the red cup promotion after ordering a holiday drink she just agreed saying yes they were giving the cups, but did not want to give us one. It took another staff member to tell her to just give us one. She hesitated so much to give us a cup after ordering a venti hot peppermint mocha. If that wasn't uncomfortable enough she also charged us for the wrong item and when the barista had to remake the correct drink it just felt so uncomfortable. In all the years I've gone to purchase coffee at Starbucks I've NEVER experienced service that made me not want to drink the coffee and just dispose of it. Great location and friendly baristas!! I've frequented this location for 8 years or so. It's close by neighborhoods and shopping. Let's not forget that it's also near interstates 64, 295, and 288 with easy on and off access. The baristas take the time to get to know you, your name and what you like to eat and drink. They take the time to make suggestions based on what you purchase. Doing so, I've had the opportunity to try some items that I might would not have and found there's items there I like. Very early mornings and late evenings are easy in and easy out! Please come early on holidays and long weekends as breakfast items and pastries run out fast. Great store, easily the best of the three within a block of SHort Pump Town Center. No drive through, but friendliest and best staff. My favorite is Carla, who remembers me every time and never messes up my drink. The folks across the street at the drive through store once gave me hazelnut rather than peppermint -three- times in a row. This one gets busy at the holidays with all the shoppers, but the regulars like Barb and Reggie are great for conversation. read more

The staff is always friendly and fast, even if they are slammed with customers. This is a great location for a quick coffee grab. There is both inside and outdoor seating, but for me this location doesn't feel like a linger and chill location. But then again, I don't normally chill and linger at Sbucks. I would give them zero stars if I could! Stopped in for a pastry & coffee at 9:15 pm. They had already pulled all the pastries & they were on a rolling rack. What can one say, it's coffee. Walked in and there was a short line nothing to complain about. Placed our order and then the dysfunction began cups started lining up one of the workers had to remake a drink twice due to not paying attention to the little sticker, they were out of half and half a patron asked for more and the lady behind the counter didn't even bother to look at the customer just waved her hand at her quite rudely. I've been going to this Starbucks for the last 5 years, and out of the all of the Starbucks I've been to, this one is by far my favorite. The interior is very cozy and welcoming, with eight leather chairs to sit in, and even a little table in the corner in case you want privacy while drinking your coffee. The staff has changed since I first started coming, but I'd say it's at its best now. Jessica, Robin, and Megan are some of the best baristas I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and always go out of their way to make sure that the customers are happy with their drinks, and do so in a manner with sincerity, which is something you don't find anywhere else. read more
