I've been here at least 6 times in the past two weeks and have felt welcomed, as well as listened to, each time (excuse my poor grammar for I have hardly slept and am just now drinking the coffee they provided for me lol). I'm so happy I live very close to this location. Besides having pleasant interactions with the staff, they also informed me I could do my grocery shopping and then come back for a coffee (or tea) refill for 50¢. When I did that, they used the same cup, which is the whole reason this is a good idea-- avoiding waste. Most locations use a brand new cup, which is so weird. Can you believe that in a city of 27,000+ according to the 2010 census, there are only two Starbucks in Ridgecrest, California? I stopped at the outlet in Albertsons as I was headed out of town on Business 395. There was a good size line when I walked in. There were three people working the counter and machines and the line went quickly. Service was fast and pleasant. In less time than I expected when I arrived, I had my drink and was on my way back to Las Vegas. Note: This location does not have a drive through--that's the one on the other side of China Lake Boulevard. read more

Nice stop for coffee while shopping for groceries. They can make everything starbucks .. just a smaller shop. There's also no seating. Normally faster service than at their brick and mortar. They do have a few treats and baked goods as well. They carry nuts and chips. Plenty of free parking in their shared parking lot. read more

I'm not surprised that this particular Starbucks already has only 2-1/2 stars Before I even added my two! Two baristas behind the counter in early morning and I had to fight to get a cup of coffee. The main barista, apparently the manager, was caught up in a conversation with a female named Debbie or Debra who may or may not have been ordering at the order window. ( I tend to mind my own busones and not police other adults). I got stuck behind Debbie while she gabbed on and on with barista manager. I coughed a few times, loud And louder. (In the age of Covid that even made me kind of nervous. ) Finally I could not take another minute and called out "can I get a cup of coffee?!" (The manager barista could have had the other barista take care of me long before that) while she continued talking, blocking the order/serving window with Debbie, she could have had the sense and maturity to step aside and allow me to order from the the barista, but apparently that never occurred to her. She finally said her goodbyes to Debbie (who likely hit the emergency room next to monopolize the doctor while patients bled to death) and then the barista manager set upon me with all her barista power going to her head and I became the enemy--because what every great barista/manager knows, is that when a customer complains about poor service, what do you do? but give them intentionally even worse service. How dare I expect to get a cup of coffee in a timely manner at Starbucks First thing in the morning! Barista manager and Debbie had housewife business to discuss! It didn't matter how long I--a mere customer-- had to wait in line enduring overhearing their conversation. I had to be shown the error of my ways by heaped on deliberate rudeness. Yawn. Oh right, I finally did get my coffee. I did return the next morning to try for another cup of coffee. Oh the barista manager remembered me and had extra rude mannerisms in store! She almost ran me over with a shopping cart full of plastic cups she began putting on a shelf For sale. I noticed she was NOT wearing gloves while handling the cup, yet there was a sign that customers were not allowed to bring in their own reusable cups. Then while I waited in line she the barista manager ignored me and continued placing items on othershelves. Rather than do the logical reasonable thing and return behind the counter to serve waiting customer. Yawn. I can get better coffee elsewhere and served by someone who has some reasons perspective on where, as a barista, they fit in-the-scheme-of-things. read more

I am not a fan of Starbucks and now I know why. A friend convinced me that their green tea was the best....we went through the drive thru because it's supposed to be faster... the sweet little oblivious girl at the window tried twice!!! Not once but twice!!! To convince us that because the cup said green tea but the contents were obviously a black tea!!!! The only thing she convinced me of was that she could read. At that point had she come back to the window with it again I would have asked for a manager but then she tried to charge us $10 for the 2 teas. We should have gotten them for free but that was too much to ask for because we at least got fresh tea, green tea this time. But needless to say I probably won't be back to this company. read more

Don't go here. Starbucks is great but this one is horrible. They only have one person working usually and they never have a sense of urgency. I was the second person in line and I spent 15 minutes waiting to order. On top of it the consistency of Starbucks is not present. The drinks taste nothing like Starbucks and are gross. How do you mess up regular brew coffee?? Don't bother going here. It's a waste of time and money. read more

I just ordered the worst cappuccino I have ever had this must be a new employee cause it tastes bitter the other bad thing is that I had already left to eat breakfast at a Kristine s restaurant and tasted my coffee. I will not order from that person again!!!!!!!!!!!
