I visit this Starbucks every few months. This time around I ordered the Horchata shaken espresso with whipped cream. It was perfectly made and so delicious. Service here is generally fast and efficient. Overall, my Starbucks consumption has greatly decreased within the last few years. I feel that their coffee has changed and is now extremely weak/watered down, even the cold brews, and across all the locations I've been too. The prices have greatly increased as well, and their pricing, on additions, seems to depend on who takes your order, which is never consistent. Though the shaken espressos still seem strong, I miss how their other drinks used to taste. I've found many other consistent coffee shops/chains to frequent Starbucks like I used too. read more

Located on Canyon Crest and El Cerrito Dr by Bushfire Kitchen. No drive-thru but plenty of parking. I had their 'Café Latte' and it tasted perfect. This is such a nice and calm location. The lobby is clean and organized, with plenty of tables inside and outdoors to enjoy your drink/meal or simply get some work or studying done. Service was fast and efficient. Shout out to 'Nathan' who was welcoming and friendly. Not only did he take my order but he also made my drink. Overall, I had a good experience at this location and will definitely return. read more

Customer service sucks (period). Ordered a venti strawberry acai refresher along with a venti mango dragonfruit lemonade. The strawberry acai was way too sweet so I had asked for a cup of ice politely so I can dilute the drink. The barista's response was "You should've asked for it in the front when you ordered your drink." Who says that to a customer? The management needs to get their staff on check with attitude and service. If the batista had made the drink to "perfection" then I wouldn't have to ask for the ice to alter the taste. Avoid this location if possible. Baristas are rude to all of their guests. When someone asked for a cup of ice "did you order it at the register? Then it will be coming" with a straight attitude. These baristas don't know the recipes. Kids hot chocolate? Didn't put whipped cream or chocolate drizzle. Salted caramel cold brew? No caramel sauce, just the basic cold foam. Waist of my 12$ for what? Attitude and bad drinks. AVOID IT, go to the other coffee spot inside you will wait less time and not receive bad customer service. read more

I've been an avid consumer of coffee this year, and I would consider Starbucks a consistently safe option. There is nothing particularly outstanding about the drinks, but I often come early in the morning. Actually, I was a regular for a while and was recognized by the staff, all of whom are friendly. I am not sure how many different baristas work here, but I've always been greeted, and it's super easy to strike up conversation with them - something that never really happens at other Starbucks. I do agree that the taste of the drinks is sometimes inconsistent, but it is still delicious and gets the job done. Being in a bustling plaza, this location is commonly frequented, and the smaller building also leads to a much more noticeable entries and exits from other customers. Regardless, this Starbucks is an excellent place to study if you don't mind mild background noise, and there is also a fairly large outdoor patio for a quieter experience - weather permitting of course. Parking is also readily available right in front of the store. read more

This Starbucks is awesome! If you order from the cafe it's a bit slow but the drive thru is pretty fast. The staff has always been very friendly, and my drink is always made perfectly unlike other surrounding locations. I studied here a few times this year, and the Wi-Fi works well, plenty of seating. My only complaints are that as a mother w/ a young child in a diaper, there should be a changing table in the restroom & a few times there wasn't a trash can in the restroom either. Also, the music can be on the louder side compared to most Starbucks and it's not the relaxing kind of music you would expect for a cafe where lots of students are studying. read more

On Thursday, August 31st, I arrived just after 5am opening. I discovered that the doors were still locked and baristas were inside. One of the baristas, looking very irritated, came to the door, unlocked it and walked away. I followed behind her and went to the counter. She came to the register and I said "good morning". She replied with disgust "what do you want?" I gave her my order, paid and went to the end of the counter to wait for my coffee. When it was done, she put it on the counter and walked away. I'm often met with great attitudes and good customer service, but on this day-this girl was the complete opposite. She was rude and disrespectful. I go to this Starbucks more often than the one on mission grove. I'll be going to mission grove now-don't recommend this one. read more

I ordered a Cloud Foam Machiatto which was whatever. The Machiatto was kinda bland and the coffee taste wasn't strong enough. The foam was basically sweet whipped milk, I definitely think this drink is overpriced. The service was decent. I also ordered a regular drip coffee which was also alright. I think it was the blonde roast, but I liked the one I had on the UCR campus much better. They hand poured mine for the same price and it was much less bitter. read more

I would not recommend coming here considering it is NEVER even open and there is zero explanation regarding why... I recently moved to the area and this is the closest Starbucks location to me that is not drive thru only. I have been here since January 1 and this particular Starbucks has been closed every single time I have came to it. Not sure why such a nice location is simply never open? No sign nothing explaining what is going on. Even when all the lights are on and TVs the doors are locked and no one is inside. Leaving me and other confused customers returning day after day just to see if it's even open. I wasn't about to miss it though- ha. This location is located in a shopping center. The center has an old school rustic vibe.There is no drive thru here and that's what I like about it --sometimes . There's a long table in the middle. I've seen people working on laptops and reading books inside .There are lots of outdoor seating choices as well by multiple running fountains. I opted to take my order on a stroll and walked around the center with drink in hand . My drink of choice was a venti brown sugar oat milk espresso . Not only is this place strangely out of almost everything that a normal Starbucks has, they don't enforce the mask policy that is plastered on their door in any way, shape, or form. This place was packed! And literally not a single mask could be seen on any of the customers faces. Not just those actively eating or drinking, those without drinks or food were also there without masks. I know there is a ton of misinformation out there these days but COVID cases are on the rise in this area. I'm sure Starbucks as a corporation would not be pleased with the disregard for the company mask policies that are literally written on the walls of this establishment. I usually go through the drive-thru locations, but on my on my way home today noticed this location did not look busy, i pulled into get a cold brew and maybe a snack. I walked in and there was two employees behind the counter, both talking to what I thought was a customer. I stood there quite awhile without any greeting. I finally realized the guy is not really a customer and there joking around he asking what kind of. Chicken one them wanting. This place used to be busy and friendly like an in- n-out of Chic-filet is now. Now it's like going to the DMW where the employees look miserable and bothered that you might want something.
