    My coffee.

I cheated on my usual Starbucks, please don't tell. But, I was at the shopping center and I just needed a pick me up. And, there is no better pick me up, than a Carmel brûlée? Okay, I rationalized with myself, saying, "It's seasonal,we don't know how long they will be serving it?" So, in I went and walked out with my yummy, sweet, frothy, and delicious Carmel brûlée. Service was great! The people were very nice and accommodating. I enJoyed my drink and will definitely return.

I paid for a venti and it wasn't filled all the way. I'm usually ok with it but was expecting a full cup.

A perfectly normal Starbucks location. Very convenient since it's right off of Rockville pike, and there's plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. The inside is spacious, and even though I came at peak time, it wasn't crowded at all. I was able to place my order right away and use my stars easily to pay for my beverage. Also, the barista was super nice - she greeted me right away when I came in and was efficient in making my order. The drink was made exactly as I requested; I prefer light ice and extra cold foam. The store is clean and had plenty of merch to purchase, and next time I'll have to try their pastries as well. Overall, a very average, pleasant, and competent Starbucks experience :)

This is one of my favorite drinks but I didn't realize that I could get it iced. I'm glad I did I would think the ice would water the macchiato down. Surprisingly it did not the barista. Ask me was dark carmal was ok to use in my coffee that was fine. It was ok not my best that I purchased from Starbucks. It was very strong it didn't taste like my normal carmal macchiato that I always get. I could taste the strong coffee more then anything. It was like it had a turbo shot & that was disappointing. That's nothing against Starbucks. I'll definitely will go back & i highly recommend

As a person that spends a lot of their time studying and getting work done at a Starbucks, I've been to plenty of locations around the DMV area, and this definitely stands out as one of the best Starbucks around the area. From the location to the interior vibe, this spot is one of the prime locations. First off, there is plentiful of space when you come inside. The baristas follow safety guidelines for COVID, and they actually just renovated this location recently, so there is a more fresh and modern vibe if you decide to stay inside and study. At the time of writing, they have plentiful amount of space inside and outside, so it should be rare to not find seating unless they implement a more strict COVID restriction to capacity. Also, the baristas are also very nice and they make the drinks very well and very timely as well. Overall, this location along with Crowne are one of the best locations in MoCo, and for anyone that needs a shot of espresso or a spot to study, this is the place to be!

This Starbucks location has a nice row of outdoor tables, shielded from the traffic in Wintergreen Plaza by a row of bushes. I met a friend there and we sat outside. The staff was friendly enough, and the options there are pretty standard. It was very disappointing that their restrooms were closed. When you are drinking copious amounts of coffee, a working restroom is an important feature. They also had piles of boxes all around. So indoors only earned one star in my view, but outside was better.

Having written some not-so-flattering reviews of various Starbucks locations over the years, it's an absolute pleasure to write a stellar one about the Starbucks at Wintergreen Plaza. Simply put, the staff here rocks! The physical layout of the store is bright and airy due to its corner location and wrap-around windows, making this the kind of space you want to spend time in, reading the Sunday paper with a strong cup of dark roast within arm's reach. Besides the tables, there's a sitting area right off the front door, complete with fireplace! A toasty setting for catching up with friends when the weather turns cold, for sure. Now, let's get back to the staff. Every single associate I've interacted with here over many visits is incredibly friendly and on top of their customer service game, always polite and welcoming. My compliments to the manager for selecting their staff so carefully - we bleary-eyed patrons appreciate it!

Some staff should focus more on what the customer is ordering instead of judging, maybe then the orders will come better

You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Anyway, it's a nice neighborhood place and there's a lot of treats there.

Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment.
