Stopped by to get some drinks before my medical appointments. My drinks were ready upon arrival and parking wasn't too difficult to find. I have been to this location on dozens of occasions in the past, and have not had issues before. The lay outs make it seem like there's not many seating but it makes up for it by having the space to accommodate long lines. read more

Ordered for ready to pick up. Arrived at 8:45 and drink was already prepared. I was inside for maybe 2 minutes total because my ordered was ready. Loved that it was actually already ready because it was only 5 minutes after I sent the ordered. Shocked that it was not that busy that early in the morning. The guest area looked clean and organized. Parking was a little tight and the spot I was in was on a small steepish hill but most people were going in and out like I was so it was too hard to get a spot. It does get a little tricky with everyone pulling in and out. All in all great experience! read more

I cheated on my usual Starbucks, please don't tell. But, I was at the shopping center and I just needed a pick me up. And, there is no better pick me up, than a Carmel brûlée? Okay, I rationalized with myself, saying, "It's seasonal,we don't know how long they will be serving it?" So, in I went and walked out with my yummy, sweet, frothy, and delicious Carmel brûlée. I have been to some Starbucks locations, but this is the biggest, more spacious and much more seating of the ones I have been to. Same entrance - Same exit. Lots of free parking within the vicinity, since it is located in Wintergreen Plaza. Entrance faces Rockville Pike. On this visit, of all the tables they had, only two were available (mostly two-seater tables) - the rest had patrons seated in them. I ordered a drink using my personal cup (got it from Red Cup Day) and noticed I was told to place it in a mug they had (first time I have experienced that at a Starbucks). Great turnaround time in receiving my items (didn't have to wait a long time). Staff seemed pleasant. read more

I keep ordering from THIS location, which I need to stop. THROUGH DoorDash or GrubHUB they always forget an item. It's a constant and it shows that they do not THOROUGHLY look at the orders. Then the drivers come and deliver half-a$$ orders to their customers. WINTERGREEN, please do better. This is one of my favorite drinks but I didn't realize that I could get it iced. I'm glad I did I would think the ice would water the macchiato down. Surprisingly it did not the barista. Ask me was dark carmal was ok to use in my coffee that was fine. It was ok not my best that I purchased from Starbucks. It was very strong it didn't taste like my normal carmal macchiato that I always get. I could taste the strong coffee more then anything. It was like it had a turbo shot & that was disappointing. This is the Wintergreen Starbucks. It will always be the "Wintergreen Starbucks." I can't tell you how many times I've been to this particular Starbucks. It's in the thousands. It's probably been renovated like 4 times since it's opened. The most recent renovation took away the comfy chairs in the back of the store. There's also more communal space. I've seen Starbucks going that way for a bit now. I'm not a huge fan of communal tables, and by "huge fan" I mean... I kinda hate them. But in an atmosphere like this... it just makes sense. This has to be one of the highest performing Starbucks in the area. This place is never not busy. It's like the Beyonce of Starbucks in the MD Burbs. Everyone likes Beyonce. To quote the Good Place. "Tahani: I knew tonight was going to be perfect, but now it's going to be even perfect-er. Obviously, it's impossible for something to be more perfect than perfect. Michael: Well, it isn't, actually. Any place or thing in the universe can be up to 104% perfect. That's how you got Beyoncé." This Starbucks might not be "104% Perfect" but it's just a solid place. You will not find an inefficient team at this one. They move people through in rapid succession. Don't waste no time. Also the funny this about this Starbucks in particular. People LOVE to park in the little no parking zone on the left side of the store. If you sit outside at the tables right on the left side of the store, you will see a constant and pervasive cyclical line of cars that just park in the no parking zone, run in, get their latte, and run out. Moms do it, high powered business men do it, cops even do it. No one gives a shiz. I feel like 20 years from now when they change the shopping center name to something like "The Space Plaza" I'm gonna be that old grumpy guy who refuses to call it the new name "Grandpa! As a person that spends a lot of their time studying and getting work done at a Starbucks, I've been to plenty of locations around the DMV area, and this definitely stands out as one of the best Starbucks around the area. From the location to the interior vibe, this spot is one of the prime locations. First off, there is plentiful of space when you come inside. The baristas follow safety guidelines for COVID, and they actually just renovated this location recently, so there is a more fresh and modern vibe if you decide to stay inside and study. At the time of writing, they have plentiful amount of space inside and outside, so it should be rare to not find seating unless they implement a more strict COVID restriction to capacity. Also, the baristas are also very nice and they make the drinks very well and very timely as well. Overall, this location along with Crowne are one of the best locations in MoCo, and for anyone that needs a shot of espresso or a spot to study, this is the place to be! read more

A perfectly normal Starbucks location. Very convenient since it's right off of Rockville pike, and there's plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. The inside is spacious, and even though I came at peak time, it wasn't crowded at all. I was able to place my order right away and use my stars easily to pay for my beverage. Also, the barista was super nice - she greeted me right away when I came in and was efficient in making my order. The drink was made exactly as I requested; I prefer light ice and extra cold foam. The store is clean and had plenty of merch to purchase, and next time I'll have to try their pastries as well. Overall, a very average, pleasant, and competent Starbucks experience :) read more

The staff was friendly enough, and the options there are pretty standard. It was very disappointing that their restrooms were closed. When you are drinking copious amounts of coffee, a working restroom is an important feature. They also had piles of boxes all around. This review is for the Starbucks at Wintergreen plaza. I don't understand why the hot drinks taste different here than other Starbucks, including just up the road at Rockville Town Center. I stopped ordering the matcha here, because it tastes like hot milk (no flavor). Today I decided to treat myself to a holiday latte -- the gingerbread. Having written some not-so-flattering reviews of various Starbucks locations over the years, it's an absolute pleasure to write a stellar one about the Starbucks at Wintergreen Plaza. Simply put, the staff here rocks! The physical layout of the store is bright and airy due to its corner location and wrap-around windows, making this the kind of space you want to spend time in, reading the Sunday paper with a strong cup of dark roast within arm's reach. Besides the tables, there's a sitting area right off the front door, complete with fireplace! A toasty setting for catching up with friends when the weather turns cold, for sure. Now, let's get back to the staff. Every single associate I've interacted with here over many visits is incredibly friendly and on top of their customer service game, always polite and welcoming. Out of all the Starbucks that I have been to, this one seems to have the better interior for people to come here and study. It is a bit darker than usual and it has much more seating than the regular places. However, do not get me wrong, there may be a lot more seating than regular, but there is much more foot traffic. Out of the several times we have been here, there has only been 1 time that we have actually found seating for two people. In fact, just being a single person is a bit difficult. Granted, we have chosen busy times to come here, but really.... finding seating is tough. The baristas are quick and efficient and we have not had any issues here. Service is quite fast. Parking is a bit troublesome since the seats right in the front are mostly taken and it becomes a troublesome free for all. If you park farther away, then you should be fine. There is a Chipotle and a Dunkin Donuts right next door so parking is competing with those two. Now there is also a brand new Hala Guys in the same shopping center so it makes it super convenient to have a cafe with some cool food nearby. Actually, thinking about it, this place has a lot of foot traffic but is still able to maintain cleanliness here. A bit surprised and lends to why I gave this place a higher than usual rating for a Starbucks. Thus, it is a good place to check out, but do not depend on having a place to sit and study/work/meet with friends. There is too much uncertainty. read more

I sent a mobile order to this location the other day. When I went inside to pick up my drink there were five drinks sitting at the pick up counter, so I waited for my order pick up time. Instead of the baristas calling out the order names, drinks were just left on the counter. I didn't want to touch anyone's drink or food so I tried my best to peek around at the drinks are piling up on the counter. For some reason customers like to hover around that counter and not make a way for people picking up an order. There should be a better system or someone calling out the names so you don't miss your order and receive a cold drink or pastry. The staff is not wearing gloves to prepare drinks or hand them out to the customers. When I told the barista that he should be wearing gloves he told me he would be happy to give me a new lid. This is the one location where they place orders for regular drip coffee in the same queue as fancy drinks, meaning I often need to wait 5-10 minutes just for a simple cup of coffee to be poured from the machine and handed to me. I have been coming to this location for 10+ years. It has a large open seating area, fireplace and the bathrooms are reasonably clean. It is a comfortable location with parking if you are willing to walk 25 yards. The service is good and the wait times and seating availability have been much better since it re-opened fully after the pandemic. My recent reservations about this location are the poor internet service that can be almost unusable many times. I am knocking off 2 extra stars due to this serious deficiency. read more

A nice romantic place to meet someone special. Lots of long communal tables, a spattering of comfy chairs by the fireplace and many 2 toppers along the windows for people watching. I chose a rainy Saturday to make my way here and only having to drive around the busy parking lot once is amazing luck! Friendly staff and a coupon for a free drink because they were out of bananas for my smoothie...yay!! It was very warm and toasty in the middle of the store and even though my voice is loud and carried, it only distracted one other patron. No one bothered me after 3 1/2 hours and no one asked me to leave. Feels very homey and would be a great place to curl up with a good book on a rainy Saturday. Stick to coffee or hot cocoa.
