This location has always been my favorite Starbucks with my morning commute, never seen or heard from this "barista" before she act like she didn't hear me I made it perfectly clear about my order. Clearly she type everything out on the screen and gonna ask me if everything looks correct yes it is as I pull up i noticed that my orders were wrong when she hand me my drink told her about it and She gives me the "I didn't hear it?" With an attitude, i ordered an ice coffee she also got that wrong and I have to ask her for my water and straw as well. Then yet she said she didn't hear me. They are right next to my house. Like 5 mins away especially at 6 am. They have some awesome and new flavors all the time. Staff really friendly. They always make my lattes perfect. Plus they have great food options. You can get pretty healthy food there, just in case you don't know. They sell small lunch meals. I live in Greenhaven and the Starbucks near my house makes it is wrong every time. I work near Madison, so I make the extra drive out of my way to stop here to get my coffee. They even put stickers on my drink lol. My drink is a Venti iced shaken espresso with heavy cream, sugar free vanilla syrup instead of classic, 5 Splenda, and cinnamon powder on top. LOVE, Love, love, this Starbucks location! It's located conveniently off the freeway. I like stopping here on my way to Sac. Unlike the Starbucks in my area, there's usually no line of cars in the drive-thru! This location doesn't have an indoor cafe, there's a walk up window with tables and chairs outside. There are three Starbucks in this part of Madison that I am aware of. One in Safeway, a small one near the same Safeway parking lot and this one is near the 80 Freeway. I like this one because it is a lot more comfortable. There are quite a few tables to sit and lounge at and it does get loud and noisy at random hours of the day. But it is the best comfortable one. It is like the typical Starbucks with the coffees and the retail products that are sold sitting on shelves. Also there are seating areas outside with umbrellas. I think that right now at this moment sitting here, I see that the tables in the seating area inside are not maintained. I dont see any workers that came out to straight up or clean to maintain the spots. They seem to be very busy behind the counters. They dont seem to be concerned in the seating area. They do have a drive thru. Overall...its okay. Not spectacular or special....just okay. read more

First time I've been to a drive thru/walk up Starbucks. Never seen one like this. You walk up to the sliding window and order your drink. Service was fast and the batista was friendly. Drinks were good. No complaints. My only complain, when it rains or is super cold out, not a good place to go to... Unless you are using the drive thru. I said I wouldn't do it, but I'm on the Starbucks bus! This location is literally right at the freeway which is perfect for my often near three hour drive up north. This is a drive up location only, no cafe area or bathroom for customers. The line can be really long sometimes but it moves extremely quick. I've been sampling my way through the teas and the refreshers, and can my mind goes blank when I get to the menu, am I'm left to describe what I saw on the website lol. I've been fortunate to have Tony, Barista Extraordinaire on the mic each time I pulled up to get some happiness in a cup. Like many customers I'm sure, I customize my order (to the inth degree lol), but Tony gets it right each time and delivers my beverage with a smile. I visited Starbucks yesterday just to get Tony's name to include in my review. Glad he was on the mic again! Love this location, the speed, the service, and the smiles. Didn't realize it was a drive-thru, but no matter. We were basically stopping for a quick bathroom break on our drive to Tahoe, and they had a clean, stocked bathroom, along with the usual accompanying caffeine and carb fixes. Good parking. Drive-thru line seemed to be moving quickly. They graciously came out to unlock the bathroom for us twice since one of us forgot to hold the door open for the next person. No cranky employees. Drive Thru Caffeine I was on my way to catching a viola performance and realized that I still had 30 minutes to spare prior. Normally, with classical concerts, being on time is a given. There are no stragglers allowed and if so, they usually make you wait until intermission or between the pieces. Case in point? Davies Symphony Hall....people who were late were made to wait until the movement was over. In this case, I felt the need for a little caffeine. This drive through Starbucks is literally just that. No standing room for additions. No covered lobby. This is a brick box located right before jumping onto the 80 heading towards Sacramento. The baristas were kind enough and the iced latte decent (I prefer Old Soul, their lattes have been forever branded into my brain and taste receptors) but I did have to request sweetener. I did not ante up the balls to request cream (that's right, I truly doctor up my drink). For the traveling family looking to assuage the persistent and annoying "Are we there yet?" question, this is the perfect location to drug them with frappucinos and other high sugared/fatty drinks. For the drone on their way to work? Perfectly fine without getting out of your car. For the newly assimilated? I went back to Old Soul tonight for a little pick me up.
