I was surprised to find a T4 here in Sacramento. The first time I ever stepped into a T4 boba shop was in London, near the Waterloo Station. Of course I had to stop by and check it out. They have a convenient kiosk to place your order. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Mango Matcha Latte. The Strawberry bits in the Strawberry Matcha Latte had a jammy texture to it. The Mango Matcha Latte needed stronger matcha flavor. This location has some seating inside. And they have cute decor. There's a green wall in one corner, with T4 on it, where you can take a photo of your drink. The parking lot out front is shared with other stores. We had no trouble finding a parking spot when we arrived late in the evening, however, the parking lot has a dumpy vibe to it. read more

The customer service is awful. Walked in and a worker was sitting on the counter eating, not one of them welcomed me in. I went straight to the kiosk because it's clear no one wants to help you at the front. The checkout process is deceiving and automatically applies a 20% tip at checkout instead of the normal designated tip screen. The lack of customer service makes the deceiving and automatic 20% tip infuriating. I placed my order and one of the workers placed my drinks on the counter, and whispered the order (I was the only one waiting on a drink in the place) and walked away. I grabbed my drinks and said thank you but she still didn't even bother looking over at me and saying anything. This is the closest boba to me but I will be going out of my way to avoid this place. read more

First time here and this place is already NOOO good. No utensils provided, customer service is horrible as well. Music is blasted super loud. All the tables and chairs messy as hell. We always door dash from this one specific and it always turns out delicious. However for some reason on doordash, the strawberry popping boba is unavailable but when we came in person I was able to order my usual drink with the strawberry popping boba. I've been coming to this location pretty much since they opened up and to be honest this has been my favorite T4 you spot. I gave this spot a one star today because of their tipping situation with their self check out machines. I have noticed that their tipping percentage is automated to the selected percentage of 20%. I first noticed this after rushing through my order and not realizing how much was my bill until after I had already paid. It happened to me about two times because again I was in a rush and didn't pay attention to the selection at checkout. I brought this up to one employee, because like I said sometimes you are in a rush or clear read through the selections that it makes me think I can't be the only one to have this happened to. So this last time my wife came in and she just clicked away like I did , thinking that if I mentioned my mistake to her, she wouldn't make it her self, but she did. So I'm hoping that management can fix the tip selection to be automated to zero , that way their customers for one can't accidentally tip and two let the willing customers choose how much they want to tip. This is by far my favorite boba place in Citrus Heights/Sac area. What I appreciate most about this place is their frequent customer stamp card which imo is necessary to have regular customers come back. Some places skip on this and over-charge for their boba when I think most boba places are quite similar especially in flavor. But this place has good quality drinks, soft boba pearls, semi-clean atmosphere and friendly customer service especially when they are not busy! The ambiance can be a hit or miss bc at times they play some really loud rap/hip hop music. I've asked them to turn down the music before when I used to hang out there a lot. Overall, I'd say that this is the best T4 I've been too in awhile. I also like their pricing, it's reasonable compared to places that charge an arm and a leg for a regular-sized drink. I mainly stick to one medium size drink though cuz it goes up to $7 not counting tips or taxes. Its a bit expensive but isnt all boba shops? Lots of families and teens here. I dont usually write a bad review but man. I ordered a roasted oolong tea w/ grass jelly and a hot almond milk tea. I should have suspected something was off when I looked at the color of my drinks, they were milky white and as such there was not a hint of tea flavor in either of our drinks. We basically just got sugary milk. I am writing this in hopes that they change their tea to milk ratios so that we can actually taste the tea not just the sugar. I love T4! I've had several of their drinks and all of them were great! For this visit I got the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and salted foam on-top. Pro tip: you can adjust the percentage of ice and sweetness on your drinks. I made mine 50% sweet with 30% ice, which for me was perfect. My friend got the Matcha boba tea with lychee and it was delicious! She also ordered the potstickers which are a perfect warm and crispy snack to compliment any boba tea. Really good T4 location. Their bathroom is open, which is a big plus. Inside is clean and well decorated. Can get crowded with customers very quickly. Serve staff are nice. When my wife said the drink had more sugar than we specified, they made us a new drink for free. The wait time is minimal. They make the drinks pretty quickly. The drinks tends to be more sugar than we thought. Maybe that's what most people like. In any case, not a big deal. The price is reasonable. Portions are reasonable. Same as any other T4 location. I like big CUPS and I cannot lie... T4 is one of my favorite places to get my boba fix but this was my first time in this location. This place is busy! I consider the interior to be more spacious than other boba cafe's I've been to and at this time there was no indoor dining so we were all just standing/waiting for our orders socially distanced from each other. Masks were required inside. We ordered our drinks... Chocolate Smoothie w/ boba, Avocado Smoothie and a Taro Milkshake. We also ordered Basil Popcorn Chicken. All were delicious and consistent with the other T4's I've been to. The boba is always cooked right with a consistent chew, nothing that's still frozen when I bite on them. Came back this evening for Strawberry Lemonade... refreshing and good! They have a lot of drink choices on their menu board and some snack and food items to choose from including rice plates like fried wings or popcorn chicken over rice. I was more used to seeing snacks offered like fried cheese sticks or egg puff or takoyaki but it was my first time seeing something offered with rice. Very cute little spot in a not so much cute area. We tried their egg puffs and were pleasantly surprised. Super yummy for a little side snack with our boba. Got the brown sugar milk tea and it was very bland. I personally like mine a little sweeter in general but I usually never add sweetener at other boba spots in town and they're fine. This one tastes like milk with boba, I know not all places will have the same flavor but I still feel like they need to add a little more to this drink! The mango milk tea and peppermint Milk tea was yummy. The fried tofu was delish. You can just eat it like that without any sauce. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Eat while it's piping hot. They have a reward program buy 12 get one free, wait, was it 10? One of those :D so that's cool. I specially if you have young ones, they would love the reward program. asked for takoyaki sauce and was given soy sauce. and when I told the guy this is not takoyaki sauce, teenage boy told me that I was smart with an attitude and surprised that I knew the difference. its like ordering pizza witch ketchup sauce and being told it's the same thing. he said they ran out of it and the owner hasn't gotten any yet, then why even give the customers things that's not in the menu and lie saying that it is. what if your allergic to Soy. takoyaki sauce is based on Worcestershire with a very tiny soy with oyster sauce similar to tonkatsu sauce or men tsuyu or even okonomiyaki sauce. It's a sub for soy so people can handle the amount of soy that's in it. go to restaurant depo and buy takoyaki sauce please it's literally the same price as a soy sauce Very disappointed on given soy sauce and being told it's the same thing.
