It's clean inside with a few tables to sit down. The staff were friendly, inviting, and professional. Our drinks came out within a few minutes and tasted good. Tip: if you stay and enjoy your brewed coffee or regular ice tea in house, you get free refills! I had to minus a star because my old brew had wayyyyy too much ice in it. Came here since it was by Walmart and I was ready for a coffee . Not too busy when I got there , cashier was friendly . They were out of the wrap I wanted so I switched it to a Turkey bacon sandwich NOT WARMED . I asked three times during the conversation. My iced drink was ready ( which was overfilled and coffee went everywhere down the side of the cup ) and I asked where my sandwich was . She said " they didn't get to it yet " I replied " Can you just grab one and throw it in a bag ? I told them I don't want it heated ." She replied " we are backed up on sandwiches " ... so I wait . Stopped by at about 9:15 on Sunday morning 2/9. There were 5 Starbucks employees and no one in line, still had to wait a couple minutes before having my order taken. The cashier went to make a medicine ball for the person who ordered a minute before I walked up. After a minute or so she said hi, looking at the back wall, I can only assume that was her "welcome" for me. After another minute or so she said she'd be right with me. It's totally annoying when there are so many working, only two people waiting to pick up and you have to wait. I believe their focus was on mobile orders. Thankfully I don't go to Starbuck often. This location is the best! I've never been to a Starbucks with such a friendly atmosphere! The staff are happy, courteous, and uplifting. They were friendly and helpful to the customers as well! I had no cash for a tip and the app didn't give me a way to tip like it usually does. I didn't want to let it go so I thought I'd at least give them the recognition they deserved. Ordered a drink here and was given barely half a cup, which already set the tone for the experience. The drink itself was poorly made and tasted rushed, so the food and drink quality was genuinely disappointing. Service was just as bad, with staff showing little interest in fixing the issue or even acknowledging the problem, which made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be. To make matters worse, the experience was unpleasant, with a messy, noisy environment that felt unwelcoming rather than relaxed. Just another neighborhood Starbucks. They have plenty of indoor seating. Inside is clean and orderly. The restroom needs a code which is pretty annoying and there is only one. It's also not ventilated (or at least it doesn't seem like it) so smells linger. The workers are average to other Starbs workers. If you are nice to them then they are nice to you. I typically mobile order and I'm able to pick it up in a reasonable amount of time. So far my mobile orders have been correct. What you would expect from any other Starbucks. read more

There is a restroom inside with a code (ask the employees for the code). There are accessible tables and moveable chairs inside and a few outside. Experience: I love this Starbucks. All of the employees are so kind and welcoming, the drinks taste great, and they had a cute board up today where you can write your own positive message on a sticky note and stick it on the board for others to read. A Tale Of Two Starbucks. This 4-star review is for the location in the Nordahl Marketplace @ 751 Centre Dr, San Marcos (in the same plaza as the Kohl's and Walmart) near Nordahl and The 78 Freeway. But this review STARTS at a different Starbuck's. A lamer Starbucks. A broken Starbucks - located inside the VONS at Nordahl and W El Norte Pkwy. Because that's the one that was closest to my hotel. I stopped in at the VONS Starbucks at 7:30AM. There were 2 people in the line ahead of me. The guy just in front of me looked incredibly impatient...he had The Vibe. I knew right away this was not going to go well. Meanwhile, at the Pick Up Window was a woman returning 2 something-or-others because they weren't what she ordered. The girl behind the counter (the only one on duty) kept her cool but was clearly overwhelmed and incapable of keeping pace with the orders at hand and the growing line, let alone returned orders. My incredibly well-sharpened 6th sense for lame customer service being what it is, it took me less than 3 minutes to cut my losses and BAIL. I hopped in my car, headed up Nordahl for the literally 4-minute drive to the Starbucks in the aforementioned Nordahl Marketplace. AAAAAAAHHHHH....great customer service, at last. 2 people waited for their orders and one ahead of me placing his. The moment I walked in, I was greeted simultaneously by 2 of the 3 baristas. Within seconds I was ordering and within minutes I was on my way. It occurred to me as I was driving back to my hotel and passing that VONS Starbucks that that poor dude who was in line in front of me.............was probably still waiting there. I spent some time at this Starbucks on a hot Saturday afternoon. After ordering my first Venti Trent Cool Lime Refresher, I settled down to become one with my laptop and get some work done! The cool lime refresher was quite good, but a little to sweet for my taste. However, I did learn that you can order it with extra water to ease up the flavor and quantity of the sugar. The only bummer with this particular drink, is that they do not offer .50 refills: a habit I hope they change in the near future. The drink was refreshing a quite tasty. Their Wi-Fi was quite productive and as a result I was able to get a lot of work completed. Service was quite friendly and efficient, but after telling the young lady my name several times and even stating it was like "Jack" in "Jack in the Box," she still proceed to put "Kack" on my venti cup. Oh well, what to do... This location was has a good amount of seating inside and some outside. On a side not, I did try the Trent Cool Lime Refresher with extra water and it was way more to my liking. At least, now I know how to roll with this drink. read more

This is a very convenient Starbucks location from our house. Debbie behind the counter is such a friendly barista...always a smile and warm greeting. The standard issue Starbucks great service and free WiFi are why we come back, but the fast, friendly, and efficient crew really make the difference here. Pro tip for this location: park a few rows back to make for easier entry and exit of the parking lot. Front row parking can be a challenge, as this is the most trafficked lane and backing out can take some time. Love this location and their holiday line of coffees and special treats. read more
