Big Kudos goes to "Melissa" at this Starbucks. I came in and needed help with splitting up the value of gift cards into smaller increments. I knew it was going to be a hassle so I intentionally waited until there was no-one in line as I didn't want to be an inconvenience to the other patrons. Melissa could of easily said no but with a smile she gladly offered her assistance. While there were a lot of moving parts I didn't once feel as if I was inconveniencing her or the team at this location. After a few minutes of loading and reloading the cards we were done. I ended up ordering food as it felt wrong to have her go through all of this and leave the store empty handed. I get that there is a Starbucks on every corner in every city, but the staff can really force you to drive an extra 10-15 minutes to get good service. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service and attention I got at this location. Thank you Melissa for making this really easy when I was flat out told "no" previously at another location in Santa Clara. I really appreciate your help! read more

Visited this location twice during my recent visit to California. They have very nice seating outside. Big area, clean seats, umbrellas provide the shade. There were 3-4 people in line both times. Waiting was standard like in other locations. Good staff. Lots of parking in front and back of the store. read more

Have you ever been on the road, needing to find a cup of coffee and a free wifi connection so you could get some work done (or maybe even write a Yelp review or 2)? It happens to me all the time. Starbucks is a great place to get both of these. But there's only one problem. EVERYONE and their mother has the same idea! And, for some reason, all these people come to Starbucks at EXACTLY the same time as me! So finding a seat to get my wifi on is often difficult. Well, here's a solution. This Starbucks (hidden inside Target) is a the perfect place to have a drink and a seat and relax. No big crowds and always seating available during the morning. It may be busier during the day, but I'm usually out of there before 9 AM. While I enjoy this Starbucks, there are a few downsides: * doesn't open until 8 AM (Target hours) * usually only 1 Starbucks staff at opening (drink orders can be slow during this time) * only one table near a power outlet (for the laptop users) Other than these small things, I highly recommend coming to this Starbucks... except when I'm here. read more

... Little advice for the guy who made my Carmel frap today.. (I believe his name was STEVE) READ THE CUP before you make the order.. The WC (for whip cream) was clearly crossed out after I examined my cup when I left. If you happen to mess a customers order up DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT give the customer attitude. From my understanding you're supposed to remake a drink if you mess it up, not throw a fit and throw stuff and make a mess of your already messed up drink that you made because you weren't paying attention. Then to top it off after his tantrum he hands me my drink with the drink dripping out all over my cup.. So I ask him to clean the cup and he grabs napkins with more attitude and tosses the napkins my way.. NO DUDE YOU CLEAN THE MESS YOU MADE! I've never encountered such a rude employee at a Starbucks and I will not be back! Get a different job of making coffee isn't your thing, or suck it up and do it with a smile on your face. Patio is finally open! Glad to see that car hugging season ends and we all return towards a more normal - a nice step to sit on the Starbucks Patio at the Bridgepoint location and enjoy you coffee and talk to another Patron that you have not seen for a long time or have your business meeting outside. Bring your own chair if you come with a larger group and practice social distancing- the back parking lot is hardly used since beginning of COVID. read more

Standard Sbucks but this location has a ton of room to spread out to either relax or do some work. I really like their outdoor seating area with either shade or a little sun. Either way there is always plenty of seating...another nice benefit is they have a clover machine and if you haven't had coffee brewed this way you have not lived. Plus this location recently added beer and wine at night which is nice when you want to take advantage of all their open seating and relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I don't overall enjoy is there sometimes very slow service in the mornings I have been here, but for the most part the employees are super friendly and make up for it with big smiles and friendly faces. read more

First, this standalone Starbucks at 2292 Bridgepointe is often confused with the smaller pop-up cafe inside Target. This location is the bigger one next to World Market with an outdoor patio. So you'll have to just ignore all of the reviews here that mention Target. Wrong place, guys! This has become my daily filling station whenever I need coffee or cocoa. Though some of the baristas are here grinding away just to get a paycheck every week, most of them are uncommonly friendly. They're the type who get to know you on a first name basis, even after only a few visits, and some of them accurately predict what you're in the mood for. There aren't that many Starstations with that personal touch, but this is one of 'em. They're also very accommodating when they run out of certain items or ingredients. The clientele here are varied, with almost no douchebags or hooligans. In fact, a good portion of them work at the Sony Playstation headquarters! Fun activities to try: If you want to eavesdrop about secret Playstation projects and games that haven't been announced yet, sit in the middle of the cafe for reconnaissance, and collect information. If you like peoplewatching, there's a constant influx of incredibly fit & attractive guys (and gals) who drop by for coffee, so this is the place for that too. read more

How time changes everything......I have to give one star because there is something that this starbucks is now doing that doesn't sit well with me. I will stop in from time to time on my way to work, and usually there is a fairly decent line.....A person from behind the counter starts taking orders and writing them on cups to give to the Barista....Here is the problem....they have people that they know that order the same item everyday and even though they are waaayyyy behind me in line there coffee comes out first......I have a problem with this.... I end up waiting, and waiting, and waiting.......I have to go to work also.... Now I understand you have regulars, but why are the getting their coffee first when they came in 5 minutes after I did? This is a very busy Starbucks that thrives on being near a Target, Old Navy, Sports Authority, and other big-family stores. I used to come here now and then but I'm reviewing this based on a 4-hour work trip with S. We scored with a table near the outlets. The place is kept a bit cold but there is ample sunlight. The workers there seem awfully jubilant about their jobs. The drinks are strong and come quickly after ordering. One of my favorite Starbucks; will have to come here again. read more

I really do not like this location at all. The employees are rude! As far as parking, there is plentiful parking since it's in sort of a strip mall area. My memorable trip entailed: being laughed at by several employees because my order did not sound enticing, management did not try to fix whatever was going on between me and the employee, and after all the huss and fuss the employee made my drink as I had not asked for, yet she put up a fight just to tell me it wasn't right. I just visited Starbucks in Foster city at the bridge pointe parkway I had the worst incident I have every experience in a long time. I was waiting for my house coffee order for over 20 minutes as I watched other customers that were behind me in line get their orders prior to mine. I tried bring it to the attention of the barista's attention (Cristina) I advised her of my wait and she responded very rude and aggressive stating that they probably were phone orders. I simply advised her, no actually these were people behind me in line a she was rude in her response and then proceeded to go back and forth with me is if it my fault and that as a customer my time and money did not matter. So was so aggressive in response that two of the other baristas told her to stop and one did actually start to make my order. I then started to record her being disrespectful to me as a paying customer and advised her that I would be reaching out to the store manager and sending he the video and she advised that she did not care because her manager loved her and her disrespectful behavior towards a customer was okay and acceptable behavior. I did advise her that the simple response should have been to just apologize to the customer as the other barista did and prepare the order. Very unacceptable behavior! read more

When I used to live in New York, two things would come to mind whenever I thought of Starbucks, 1) it's a great place to take a dump (it's always cared for and there are locations on every other block) and 2) it's a bad place for coffee. Now that I've moved back to the Bay Area and work right across the street from a Starbucks, I've come to appreciate a different kind of convenience that this Starbucks provides. Like free wifi while I'm waiting for my carpool. Or a quick bite to go along with my coffee before I head into work. Pumpkin loaf is my favorite. And while I'm not a big fan of fast food, a category which Starbucks clearly falls under, well, I have to admit, I do enjoy indulging every now and then. Although, the toilet isn't as important anymore--the need to go is a lot more urgen when you're 20 blocks or three subway stops from home. This is a super clean location. There's a lot of space indoors and nice outdoor seating. The girl at the register was super friendly. Chain cafe's like Starbucks keep the beverages pretty consistent so it was nothing out of the ordinary. Little note: Starbucks chai concentrate has dairy in the mix, so just be careful if you have dairy allergies. It's very nice that Starbucks now offers coconut milk. I'll start with the positives: Quality consistent with Starbucks, friendly staff and good service. However, if you're there to camp out with your laptop... there are 2 things that are annoying.. (1) The internet is VERY laggy, (2) The music is consistently on the loud side... i mean its really in your ear, fighting for your attention if you're on the phone or even if you have headphones on. This Starbucks is consistent in their drinks. My white mochas and caramel mocchiatos always turn out perfect. There was only one incident about a week ago when I waited 10 minutes and my drink still wasn't called and it turned out they got my order wrong. I had to wait for them to make the correct drink but they did give me a free coffee voucher to make up for it so that was nice. So I kind of love this Starbucks because it is super close to my house. 5 minute drive and I am in at this treasure trove of seclusion. Although this is in the middle of a shopping mall, this place can sometimes not be crazy full which gives you the opportunity to plug in and work. The staff here is also super nice. This place reminds me of cheers because they remember your name and your drink (like a boss). The place also does not run SUPER cold like other Starbucks. I would recommend to come here if you are looking to work. Lots of space, open until 9 pm and after you are done working you can walk across the street to catch a beer at BJ Brewery. The floor was grimy, long line, took quite some time for my drink order (ice green tea unsweetened) to be completed, overflowing trash, lack of napkins at the dispenser. By far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to! There were about two people in line ahead of us, not busy at all and it took them at least 25 minutes to make our two shots of espresso. There were plenty of baristas, except two of them were just snacking or talking with the one that was actually "making" any drinks. I say "making" because she too was chatting with her coworkers (about nothing important) while taking her sweet time to restock the already half full straws BEFORE making anyone's beverage. On top of that, another Starbucks employee had just gotten off and ordered AFTER us, so of course she made his THREE FRAPPUCCINOS BEFORE everyone else who had already been waiting! Other customers that were waiting with us also commented on the poor customer service. By the time we had gotten our two espresso shots (literally the easiest drink to make, you press a button) I could've driven home and made it myself for free. I was being charged for Soy milk for a cup of coffee, as well as a venti coffee when I ordered a Grande, and I had to wait additional time because they forgot my bagel. They made a correct one for me after getting it wrong three times, but their attitude was very unpleasant. I have been going to this location for years because it is close to my place, but some of the employees there have bad attitude. They rarely say thank you. They rarely say you're welcome or have a good day or some sort of answer when you say thank you to them first. They argue with customer. And mostly importantly they don't smile. I expect something better when I go spend my money and time there every morning. I would like to still go get coffees at this location because it is close to my place, and I know this location get very busy, but I really wish they improve their service. It's super clean and the staff have been working there since it first opened. This was my usual weekday 8-10am haunt, I'd hang out and chit-chat with friends/family before heading in to my super cush job. One Star away from PERFECT! I have to tell you this place is great. As I was parking my car, I saw this man and women (Power Couple) sluggishly get out of their car, walk in to Starbucks. It was crazy a couple minutes later I see them dash out as if they had walked in through a revolving door and spring out like super heroes ready to attach Wall Street. I had to look twice. It seemed like everyone who walked out walked with there head a little higher and wind in their hair as if they were on a runway show. My friend showed up so we walked it. I mean amazing job. Ordered a Grande Chai Frap with a Blueberry Coffee Cake and my friend ordered a Venti Drip (Room for Cream) and a Classic Coffee Cake. I was a little disappointed with my drink because they got it wrong, Instead of Chai they gave me chocolate. Quick and nice baristas and most importantly the drinks are tasty. This location is usually busy, but they handle the line pretty well.
