    Chive potato bites
    Gagan S.

Food: 2/5 I ordered the new chicken maple sandwich and chive potato bites. The sandwich smelled heavily of maple, but upon actually eating it I could barely taste it. The sandwich itself in the middle was cold which was disappointing. The egg bites were delicious but overall lacked flavor. The location did not have any pepper nor sriracha which would have helped. Service: 4/5 Service was okay, timely and the people who helped me were kind. Ambiance: 3/5 There is a seating area near the Starbucks to sit down. However, it is very loud and lots of coming traffic from safeway shoppers. I was glad I got a chance to sit down here though as outside in the freezing cold it was much worse.

the powder is coffee creamer i added. i didnt take even one sip from it yet and it was this low.

i stopped in for a coffee, i ordered a large praline latte. when i got home i went to [ut some coffee creamer in it and was a little shocked to see that they didnt fill it up all the way. it was about a quarter of the cup empty. this thing costs 7 bucks so it's a little upsetting. the coffee was still very good and the servers were nice, but not sure why the cup was a quarter empty.

Drinks are consistently delicious. Service is hit and miss. This mornings mobile order was not ready shortly after opening. One other customer who did a walk up order was there. Two employees. A cashier and a barista. The barista asked if I had mobile ordered. I said yes and he then walked over to the printer and got the drink sticker. Had to wait another 5 for my drink on top of the 10 it takes me to get there from down town hitting red lights. Be sure you give mobile orders extra time to complete it. Just in case they don't hear the ticket printer or the cashier doesn't help out the barista by sticking the order on the cup. She was only half way stocking the racks in the line waiting area. Which could've clearly waited the less than 10 seconds to help her coworker. Also noticed the garbages are not emptied the night before. Makes me wonder what else isn't done at night during closing.

They are all happy (but not disgustingly happy) for 8am, get the specialty drinks done right, and even memorize what I order.

I ordered an avocado toast and a matcha latte. The avocado toast was delightful. The bread was very fresh and tasted high quality and the avocado mash was flavorful thanks to the everything but the bagel seasoning and fresh lemon juice. The iced honey matcha latte was exceptionally smooth and bright, which is exactly what I look for in a matcha latte. It tasted like fresh green tea powder and the honey wasn't overpowering. Overall, a great atmosphere for working. I saw plenty of people on laptops and there were 3 different business meetings taking place while I was there.

Love the space of the cafe and its location is great for the decent ample parking. Outdoor seating in front of the entrance is very much a backyard patio vibe and it's nice and spacious inside. Service was fine too and it seems all the cafe baristas work well and fast even when there's a rush. Noise level is good so anyone looking for a study spot or a place to catch up with a friend will appreciate that! My only gripe is that I think their matcha latte isn't that great. Not sure what they use and how they prepare it but by the end of my drink, I could see clumps meaning maybe they didn't sift the powder and whisk it enough to avoid that grittiness. I can't attest to their espresso drinks but maybe I'll give them another shot if I feel like a seasonal drink!

There are also a few seats on the patio outside. Great selection of pastries displayed in large glass cases as well as cakes and other pastries near the register. We ordered a mango cake for a birthday celebration. It was truly gorgeous and the cake was very fresh, not too sweet. The mangos tended to be on the harder side but perhaps that is necessary so they don't get mushy in a cake? Located on the corner in the former Panera location. Plenty of parking in the huge lot.

It shows you what is available in your area, and, of course, I noticed Paris Baguette was the first thing to pop up when you put in 'bakery,' or at least it does in my area. Literally everything that I have ever ordered here, is absolutely divine. My all-time favorite is the chocolate supreme croissant, which has half of it dipped in chocolate, with the little chocolate crunchy balls on it and inside, filled with chocolate cream. I made sure I got a good picture for you. You can see it is absolutely delicious, and I'd rather not share those at all lol. Don't forget to order the coffee danish. It's crispy and sweet and fluffy inside, and don't forget to dip it in your coffee, and it is perfection. better than a biscotti in my opinion. Ambience, I couldn't tell you other than I've seen it on the website, and it looks fine, but now that I know that I can get it through Grubhub. I'll only go there if I happen to be nearby, otherwise GrubHub it will be. All I can say is, if you like croissants, this is your spot, and if you have Amazon, they don't charge you any fees because they put it on your card. Just pay cash right after, to save yourself the trouble of adding money to your credit card balance just for some pastries. Cheers, my friends SYOY March 8, 2026

I decided to treat myself to lunch. But where? As a woman in my mid-40s, I can't eat crazy heavy lunches anymore. A burger would put me to sleep. And it's 90 degrees outside and something like pho just sounds too hot. I saw Marla SR, a bakery with light breakfast and lunch I had been meaning to check out. It was decided, and off I went. When I walked in, I was still discombobulated by my day, and I looked at the menu confused. Luckily the woman behind the counter pointed out that they have a bigger menu on paper. There were many yummy things, but I went with the breakfast sandwich on an english muffin, and a Cafe au Lait. When the sandwich came, it was a thing of beauty. No literally, the plate looked amazing. (See pic) ...This so instantly put me in a good mood. It was served with charred shisito peppers with a yummy aioli with dill. A perfect freshing accompaniment to the peppers and the sandwich. The egg in the sandwich was more fritata like - very light and bouncy with cheese. As I said, amazing that all those ingredients and it felt light! (Which was perfect for me, as specified previously... my middle-aged woman sensibilities have made me... well, what some people would call, picky. But I prefer to say that I'm a grown-a$$ adult that knows herself. :)) And did I mention the cafe au lait was excellent? Great coffee, foamy milk. ...I was even naughty and put a spoon-full of sugar in it and it tasted amazing. As I sat at my table, with light streaming onto the table, and the beautiful plants artistically strewn around the cafe, I felt at home. A woman came around to ask how everything was. I could feel she genuinely wanted to know. Everyone was really nice. And punk was playing overhead, which just fit the day, as well as the core of me. It made me think of when I was a teenager, how much I would have thought it's cool that I'm sitting at a cafe with punk playing overhead. This is one of those places where you can tell that the owner had a vision, and this place is their dream created into reality. (And I just f'ing love that!) So I will say this was quite pricey for a light lunch. But honestly now adays everything is so expensive I'd rather spend on a nice meal like this every once in a while, than a crappy meal out all of the time. And now I know where I can go when I'm having "one of those days". ...I also got some rye bread to bring home (which you can't find easily anymore), and cookies for the hubs. (Or else he'd be jealous) ...I will be back. ----- Update: The rye bread was to die for!!!! This is the best rye bread I have ever had in my life. It was soft, and the rye is almost floral. It's so unique. Will be coming back for more.

Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good!
