This is the best Starbucks store I have ever encountered, hands down. The entire staff there is knowledgeable and friendly. Everything is always in order and the staff goes above and beyond to make every experience top-notch. I've been a regular customer there for nine months now, and no matter who takes my order, be it someone new or someone I've gotten to know, they make the experience perfect and never cut corners. I come here up to three or four times a day. I choose this location instead of other nearby Starbucks because they always make great coffee, and the service is friendly. The wifi is decent and there is almost always enough seating. As far as chain coffee goes, this is pretty good. read more

Big surprise! It's a great big Starbucks. Coffee's fine, service is quick. The ambiance is kind of cool, but as you might expect, a bit corporate. If you're in the area I suggest trying one of the many smaller local places for a "real" Seattle coffee experience. read more

Baristas are slow. Waited five minutes for a cold brew and had to leave without because they put the cup on a counter and let it sit there. No one was ahead of me, paid to watch them mop a floor. read more

The staff is nice, may be the barista needs training on drinks. My tall flat white was very very milky, with no taste of coffee! I rarely go in for a re-do, but this being a signature store, I was expecting better, so I requested they fix me another one, and explaining why I needed to get another one. The second time however was worst than the first, milkier! Tossed into trash... oh well! Not really sure if Starbucks trains their baristas well enough. If Starbucks is reading this, please go order a flat white and check it out. Not just this location, I bet 50% of the locations screw up a tall flat white. It probably works with a Grande (two shots by default), but hey you need to have your baristas keep the same espresso and milk proportion. read more

Just around the corner from the original Starbucks a perfect pace to relax with a cup of coffee. I tried the clover made coffee just to be able to try it once. Wide open space with amazingly comfortable chairs looking out over Pikes Place. Great place to get a cup of coffee and relax in Seattle. read more

So...I love being a gold card member(since 2010) I do use it to all my advantage, but... In 2010 I purchased the stainless steel French press with the plastic handle and to this daty, I love it no problems whatsoever. But... On 4/25/14 I bought the newer wood handle, wood presser, French press for work and figured there would be no problems so I threw the receipt away. Well, the varnish on the handle and press started peeling(hand washed only) and I tried to return it on 5/27/14. Besides being treated like a thief at the store I purchased it at, I stayed on hold with Starbucks customer service for 30 minutes, than another 20 minutes dealing with cs just to get half my money back. I guess Starbucks thinks their product is only worth half of what they sale it for. Funny the first one I bought still looks and works great. Thanks Starbucks. I work across from this Starbucks and have given it a chance twice now. Both times I stood in a 20 minute line for an Americano that takes twenty seconds to make. I understand the drinks ahead of mine take longer, but Its infuriating when there are multiple people in the back chatting and only two employees on line with no sense of urgency. This morning I watched my drink sit there for 5 minutes ready to go (lid and all!) while the barista made other drinks. When I asked if I could please have my drink, because after waiting so long I was now late for work, I was told "Drinks can only be handed out in the order they were received". The really really tall foreign blonde girl is really unprofessional. She had an attitude with the customer in front of me while making her drink and then when she finished my drink she didn't announce it or say my name or anything; just quietly sat my drink down and walked away. Wouldn't have been a problem except that I was in a hurry and have no idea how long my drink sat there before I finally walked over to see what the heck was going on. Really don't like dealing with drama while getting my daily coffee beverage, so I'll choose to bring my business somewhere else, thank you very much. read more

Terrible experience. I walked in to get a coffee. The line was about thirty people, and one of my children (a toddler) was desperate to use the bathroom. When I went up to get the bathroom door key code, a rude & insensitive barista debated with me about access to bathroom, saying "it's not company policy to give the key code prior to purchase." I asked him if he wanted to clean up the mess when my son had an accident, because that is exactly what would have happened if we were forced to wait in the line prior to using the facilities. Absolutely disgraceful customer service for the flagship store. read more

Extremely rude baristas. Howard needs to re-think the whole 'no bathroom code for you until you pay' policy. It might make some sense if there were only 3 people in line rather than 30 and dodgy people around. But it was 2PM and full of tourists and business people. My receipt gives store 3204 305 Harrison Street, but Yelp can't find that address. I ordered a Misto and Classic breakfast. The man taking my money was great, but when I said "mista" instead of "misto" in my imperfect fake Italian, the guy looked at another employee with a sideways glance. I got my food and coffee, sat outside and tried to bite into the sandwich. It was hard a rock and my teeth couldn't penetrate it. It was microwaved to death. I removed the bottom bun and ate the top half. I sipped the coffee and it was so atomically hot it seared the roof of my mouth and the blistered layer came right off. I went in to complain about the Classic Breakfast and the lady just looked at me. Eventually offering me another one. Something else would be a better idea. More of the same crap burned and overheated is not appealing. I am sorry I went there. There was nothing good about the experience at all. read more

I can't believe I'm rating a four stars on a Starbucks but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in this morning with my visiting parents. The ambiance was dark and calming. Coffee and food was fine like every other millionith Starbucks. I did notice that they are eliminating all high fructose corn syrup and trans fat from their food items though. read more

I really enjoy going to this Starbucks because all of the staff treat you like you're VIP! They know me by name after just a few visits and I know many of them by name now as well. Despite it being one of the popular (original logo) locations in the Market area, if you go at the right time of day there is rarely a long wait. Not to mention their drinks are always fantastic! read more
