One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Hot and fresh baked pretzel bun, savory pesto goat cheese, crispy bacon, what's more to want! The staff were so friendly, chic modern style inside. Want to go back for coffee!

A friend recommended this cute coffee shop to me, so thought I would give it a try. There's a few locations but I specifically chose this one because it was close to Pikes Place but just far enough to not be SO crowded. The workers were extremely friendly and helped make recommendations to my indecisive self. Their flavored lattes and dirty chai sounded delicious but it was really hot that day and I just felt like drinking something simple. I ordered the cold brew and it didn't disappoint! Overall, I thought the prices were steep for coffee but I got a free mug for being a first time customer and signing up for the email distro list. You can also sign up ahead of time and just show them the email.

Storyville will always hold a special place in my heart- it was the first Seattle coffee I fell in love with when I moved here over a decade ago. I was so happy to see the first Ave open... sad to see in close... confused to see it rebrand as some other space-themed shop... and then happy to see it return to Storyville a short time ago. Their strange coffee hours has made it difficult, but after making it in FINALLY, I have to say I will not be back. Service was amazing, but a small cappuccino costs $8.50, and for those unfortunately dairy-incompatible, oat milk is another $1.50. Pre-tip, an 8oz cup was $11.10, and had I not gone so out of my way I would have walked out. And yet they're still pushing free mugs. It breaks my heart, but this is absolutely ludicrous pricing. Other local shops still manage to keep their pricing in the $6-8, even with oat milk.

This place was located next-door to my hotel so I wanted to stop by and check it out. I ordered a hot americano since I had heard good things about this place. The americano was good but a little pricey for what it was but they still get 5 stars since I think they are better than Starbucks. Also, the barista/cashier offered me a free mug that was pretty cute and made a nice souvenir so I felt like it made up for the cost of my pricey morning coffee.

Amazing coffee..We visited the Storyville coffee based on the great reviews!! We ordered the hot vanilla latte with oat milk x2. Phenomenal service, impeccable atmosphere!!! Would recommend to all who go to the Seattle

Great vibes and a solid latte! The croissant was a bit too dense and dry for me though. Love how they gave a free cup for my first time

I visited this coffee shop because it was right across the street from the hotel where I stayed! They had a QR code near the entrance for a "little gift" and my boyfriend and I completed it and showed the baristas. They gave us both Storyville mugs which were beautiful and such an amazing souvenir! We then looked at the menu to order a nice latte. I had initially wanted to order their cashew milk latte, but they told me that was only sold at the location in Pike Market. So, I ordered their salted caramel latte in the 8 oz size and waited at their bar seating. The ambience inside the coffee shop was so calm in the morning and was a lovely start to a busy day! The barista brought my latte to me and a cup of water as well, which was such a kind gesture! When I drank my first sip, I fell in love with my drink! The espresso was so rich and was balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the caramel. It was not overpowering, however, as the salt balanced out the sweetness.

Super bummed with my experience. Been to Storyville at Pike place a couple of times and having thoroughly enjoyed their delicious coffee, I was excited to try this new location ! After my visit, I'm doubtful if it's the same Storyville. My latte was far from decent!! Also shocked to have paid $9.26 (latte with an extra shot of espresso) for it. It was watered down and far from my expectations! The only good part was the ambiance.

This was our go-to coffee shop when my husband and I were still going in the office in DT Seattle. Now, it's more of a bi-annual indulgence since the prices have gone up. We usually order the latte with housemade cashew milk and housemade salted caramel syrup. When we went back to this specific location for the first time in years, they said they do not have the housemade milk at this location anymore. They only have it at the Pike Place location. The latte we got was just with oat milk and their housemade syrup. It was yummy, but not as good as it would have been with the housemade milk. Next time, I'll probably skip this place and just go to the Pike Place location.

Ready for take off, such a lovely spot with great music and a relaxing vibe. This place is nested right off the corner of a beautiful street that has views of the water off to the side. I ordered the vanilla latte to go and was not disappointed. I would come back to this coffee bar for sure!!! So sweet and creamy

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed.
