Dropped in here before taking the train to the airport. Everyone was polite and I got my food and drink quickly. The drink (Chai) was the perfect level of sweetness and stayed warm the entire time I took to drink it (about 30 minutes). A lot of great coffee options nearby the office - I visit Seattle once a year and I've stopped by here each time. It's a small cozy coffee shop that's connected to a larger building, so I'm sure it can be packed in the mornings. I gotten the iced latte both times and it's consistently good. I wouldn't say this is a place you have to go out of the way to visit, but if you're in the neighborhood and want a good cup of coffee with a cozy atmosphere, definitely try this place out! read more

I ordered a lavender London fog with oat milk and it was pretty good! The baristas were kind and speedy. This spot has some somewhat fancy feeling decor for a cafe which is fun. There's a good amount of lighting as well for working or ready but not many outlets. The food selection is decent but they don't really have anything dairy free or vegan, which was kind of a bummer. Migliori has the best coffee in downtown Seattle. They are not open on the weekends so make sure to stop by weekdays if you have a chance. Their coffee is the star of the show but they bring in a lot of baked local good. The quiche and gluten free scone are some of my favorites. They have super friendly help. I love going here. Nice staff, bold coffee, pleasant environment for sitting and working or just enjoying the view of downtown Seattle out the large windows. I had a soy latte (non-dairy surcharge was $0.75). I didn't see any vegan options for food, so I just sat and had my coffee. I was there for quite awhile and it was fairly quiet for 9am on a weekday -- I never felt pressured to give up my seat early or anything like that. They seemed to have a brisk take-out business. We walked here from the Motif Hyatt because we didn't want Starbucks. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Very friendly and efficient baristas and the espresso was perfect and the decaf latte was so good that my wife had two of them! It was nice to not have to drink coffee out of a paper cup. The coffee roast is amazing. I got a latte and the flavor is out of this world. The espresso roast is strong, but not bitter. It has flavors of chocolate and deliciousness in it. The staff are very friendly and very nice. What's awesome as they roast their own coffee beans. I ended up buying a bag of beans after I tasted the coffee and I made sure that they will ship it to out of state, because I am certainly going to buy some when I get home. read more

Caffe Migliore is a cool Italian coffee shop in Downtown Seattle. I used to take classes in the Wells Fargo building, so I've been to this place a lot to get my caffeine fix. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely take the time to remember your drink if you come here often. I also feel like the baristas here make better coffee than the ones at Starbucks. Caffe Migliore has espresso, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. They also have a wide variety of sweet and savory baked goods (quiches, scones, croissants, etc). Everything is flaky and delicious! The seating area is nice and comfortable and you could meet someone here for a quick business meeting. However, since they mostly serve the business crowd, they are closed on weekends. In general, I feel like the customers here are really nice too. One time (around Christmas) someone before me donated $100 to pay for other people's drinks. That was really cool (and has never happened to me at Starbucks LOL). read more

This is a cute little spot at the bottom of an office building downtown. They have a nice word interior with lots of seating. The employees were very nice - you can tell they have their regulars! One of their regulars came in and forgot his wallet and started to walk away, when they told him they got it, just cover it tomorrow when you're in! They have wifi - you just need to ask for the password. Caffe Migliore was a regular spot when I used to work in the area. It's always been great for bringing your laptop and getting some work done while drinking tea or coffee from an oversized mug. Visited recently and was grateful for the open seating area (a lot of spots don't have seating open right now) and also the proof of vaccination required to do so. They have the best savories like quiche and various types of croissants (hello, ham and cheese!) and my favorite chai. Absolutely LOVE this place!! Was recently in town for work and stayed at the Kimpton Monaco. This little gem was barely a block down the road, I'm so glad it was on the way to work. I grabbed a small mocha on day one and noticed they had pastries so I scooped up a chocolate croissant as well. First I loved how they asked about the sweetness level of my mocha. That was a great start and some places just make it way too sweet...looking at you Better Buzz (San Diego local company). I got mine lightly sweet to test the waters and it was perfect. I will say I wish they could have slightly warmed the croissant but it was still pretty darned good. Day 2 of my trip had me order a large mocha same way and a bacon quiche ...which was definitely warmed and toasted and OMG it was AMAZING . Almost a bit too rich, but really just right. I took it and quite literally devoured it. The best part is I drank the coffee over the whole day and I will say even cold at 4pm that coffee was GOLD. Today was my final day and I left in the morning but not before I grabbed another small coffee and this time...a ham and cheese quiche....man I mean this one was even better than the bacon quiche!!!! Needless to say the pastries are fantastic and they have veggie and premade breakfast sandwich options too. Everything was fresh and great. Most importantly...they are a part of the city fabric, there is room to sit inside and a few chairs outside. If you're a regular they know your name, will fill up your personal coffee cup and really are a pleasant what I assume to be husband and wife team... although that is really a guess on my end. They were super pleasant, easy going and just awesome people. Needless to say, whenever I'm back in downtown Seattle I will be back!! read more

At first I thought it was another high end coffee shop with special caffeinated drinks. As a primarily tea drinker the iced teas are more bitter with a flowery scent which is a little too strong for me. However, that's typical for a black tea. The main stars of this cafe for me is the food. Wow! The salads are super fresh, plentiful and tasty. The spinach, bacon salad with sliced boiled egg sprinkled with cheese is so good and can stand alone with no dressing. The chop chop salad is loaded with salami and toppings making for a satisfying lunch. The pastries are so very yummy. The thick strawberry jam on a crystallized sugar pastry top is a cross between a buttery biscuit and a scone. The cherry almond scone is a perfect snack or breakfast with the almost flaky, bread like texture. There are also huge soft chocolate chip cookies rich with choco chips throughout. All the baked goods complement the drinks. It's like you can't order a drink without a snack. However, you should order a food item even if you do not have a drink! read more

Popped in for the first time and the staff was helpful to answer any questions I had. They informed me they had a lavender syrup for my latte and I die for anything lavender! So I had to try it, and OMG, it was heavenly. The amount of comfort in every sip blew my mind. It had to be one of the best lavender lattes I've had in a while and it surely calmed and relaxed me before I had to leave out that door to brave the cold, Seattle winter weather. Best place downtown for coffee! I go there everyday for my daily cup of coffee and was thrilled when my firm moved into the building!

I love the food here! Everything is amazing from the coffee to the salads and sandwiches. I would give this place 5 stars if they they they were more welcoming. Every time we go there it feels like we just walked into the middle of an argument between the people behind the counter. Never a smile or welcome back or anything that resembles thank you for your business. You can feel the tension. On our last visit: We work in the neighborhood so we stop in at least 3 times a week. One day we were out with a client and decided to stop in to take some salads back to the office. We had coffee from another location and while we were waiting for our to go order I was told "we don't allow food/drinks from another store". I apologized for having coffee from another place but we made a last minute decision to stop in to get take out...and I was told again that I can't have my outside coffee inside. Did she expect us to wait outside in the pouring rain while they made my $30 order? Or dump out our $20 Starbucks? I totally get their policy it but we probably spend a few hundred dollars there a month and unfortunately my holding a Starbucks coffee while waiting for takeout was more important than our business. I didnt try their coffee as it was too hot the other day, so I decided to just grab a quick lunch to-go. Small little spot in the "Financial Center" building, next to Purple Cafe & Wine Bar. Grabbed their "special" sandwich of the day, which consisted of a ham & cheese, arugula, fennel, on a delicious buttery toasted baguette bread. Also, I got a slice of lemon poppyseed bread as well......you know, for later. Pretty tasty lunch, nice & quick, good amount of sandwiches to select from, good amount of sweets as well. Staff was friendly & helpful, they seem to have a lot of regulars that they know by name etc. Nice looking little cafe to relax from the work day, good spot to work as well, clean and comfy setting. Their coffee is strong but not bitter and they have amazing range of flavors, some of which I think the owner creates himself like the ginger syrup during holidays. Everyone in my office usually has a cafe migliore cup sitting on their desk for good reason. Food is also high quality and delicious. I really enjoyed the vanilla latte here. I am fairly picky with my vanilla lattes and the extract they used here was great. But, what keeps me coming back is the QUICHE! The crust is so flaky and buttery with a rich but light filling. The quiche usually comes with spinach and egg and various toppings such as ham or bacon.
