Very cool spot tucked away in a dark alley in the pike place market. I can confidently say I have never seen a coffee spot like this one, and I don't think I ever will again! Very original. I loved how they had their own homemade syrups and great options for milk. The second I see macadamia milk on the menu, I know I'm in the right spot. I opted for a large latte with macadamia milk and half pumps of homemade blackberry syrup and homemade cheesecake syrup. The result was a very smooth and delicious beverage. Little did I know that this beverage would pair incredibly with donuts from a hop and a skip down the coffee shop! Seattle is so cool!! During my recent Seattle vacation, I decided to try Ghost Alley Espresso. I read about their Salty Nut Latte, which is their specialty. It has applewood sea salt, hazelnut, and caramel. I ordered it hot, and it tasted so good. The flavors really blended well together. The latte had a strong espresso flavor but was still very creamy and slightly sweet. The man who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. As I looked over the menu, he was happy to answer my questions. Although I already knew I wanted the Salty Nut Latte, I was tempted to try some of the other flavors, like the mocha latte. The shop is located right next to the Gum Wall on Post Alley and has spooky decorations that match its name. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're in Seattle. read more

Fully outdoors (albeit covered) and no seating. There is one employee who does everything from taking the order to making your coffee to delivering it outside via a side door. They have fun flavors like a mystery mocha and a salty nut latte. They also have classics like an americano and also barista creations. Lots of options to choose from. I enjoyed my salty nut latte and took it around the market for a fun daytime stroll. They have a stamp card for a free 10th drink and also sell merch. Delicious coffee! We stopped by here before a day of sightseeing in Seattle. We got here right after 10am on Sunday and there was a one so we had to wait 10 minutes or so before ordering once we ordered, I got their house special syrup. The coffee was good not the most stellar one I've had but I enjoyed it. I needed some caffeine to start a very long day filled with adventure and Ghost Alley Espresso was the perfect place to do it. Since I was still used to East Coast time, we got there really early and had no wait which was nice. This cute coffee facade is located under the main Pike Place Market sign, down some stairs. Do note that the specialty drinks are a bit on the pricier side, but still pretty yummy. The barista who took our order was really sweet. This is like an outdoor coffee shop. There aren't exactly tables, but there are a few chairs and places around that you could find a seat if you really wanted one. It's a great place to grab a drink to walk around with. "This is where we go for our own coffee" is what I was told from one of the booths when asking for a tried and true spot that they, themselves, would go for their morning fix. They calmly told me Ghost Alley and said to follow the alleyway and you'll be there once near the gum wall. And off I went like Dorothy on the yellow brick road. Once I navigated to the area across Pike's, I saw a handful of people waiting in line and it was the coolest damn thing to see. Situated with tons of local artwork and graffiti work, take some time to see the issues they're tackling while waiting in line. Their order window is so laid back and the staff here were true badasses and I loved their sense of style and dress. As the true entrepreneurs they are, they even sell gum for folks lol. All of their syrups are made in-house and I opted for a marshmallow lavender iced latte. DAMN WAS THIS LEGIT. It was the right balance of sweet and calm. Their stickers are so fun and I loved the postcard they have as well. Totally recommend grabbing one or two. They have a handful of chairs to wait in while your coffee is made in the back. i like the design of the store and the concept of the mystery mocha always being a different flavor and you can also have a free remake if you don't like what you receive the first time! They asked me what super power i would choose and maybe that is what they are basing what flavor to add into the mocha. it does take quite a bit of time for them to make it but luckily we were in no rush and it was not too cold outside. Ghost alley espresso calmed my caffeine fix! The line was pretty short when I went around 1pm. They are a few chairs on the side to wait for your order (or drink it). The whisky cold brew sounded great, but so did the salty nut latte. The barista suggested I get the cold brew with the salty but syrup. It was so good!
