    Salty Nut Latte
    Claribel V.

During my recent Seattle vacation, I decided to try Ghost Alley Espresso. I read about their Salty Nut Latte, which is their specialty. It has applewood sea salt, hazelnut, and caramel. I ordered it hot, and it tasted so good. The flavors really blended well together. The latte had a strong espresso flavor but was still very creamy and slightly sweet. The man who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. As I looked over the menu, he was happy to answer my questions. Although I already knew I wanted the Salty Nut Latte, I was tempted to try some of the other flavors, like the mocha latte. The shop is located right next to the Gum Wall on Post Alley and has spooky decorations that match its name. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're in Seattle.

Ghost Alley Espresso was one of our favorite coffee stops on our Seattle trip, and it's certainly worth going down the alley to find! This place is a no-frills walk-up window serving up speciality drinks and amazing espresso. My wife ordered the banana latte and loved it. It was very well balanced. I ordered an espresso shot, and it was one of the best of our trip. Only second to Anchorhead. While you're down checking out the Gum Wall, be sure to check out Ghost Alley Espresso. This is a great way to start your day, adventuring through Pike Place Market. There isn't anywhere to sit, but the friendly staff will hook you up with scumotious coffee to power you through the rest of the market. Don't forget to soak in the spooky vibes as you truly won't find anywhere like Ghost Alley Espresso in Seattle! Cheers.

Ghost Alley espresso is an iconic spot in Seattle in the pike place market next to the gum wall. Literally next to it. It's literally in the alleyway and is a hole in the wall. Fully outdoors (albeit covered) and no seating. There is one employee who does everything from taking the order to making your coffee to delivering it outside via a side door. They have fun flavors like a mystery mocha and a salty nut latte. They also have classics like an americano and also barista creations. Lots of options to choose from. I enjoyed my salty nut latte and took it around the market for a fun daytime stroll. They have a stamp card for a free 10th drink and also sell merch. Definitely a must stop when visiting the market!

Heading to the gym wall this place is hard to miss. It's right in the corner. Coffee is deliciously delicous! Tried the salty nut and loved it! Service was fast and friendly! Totally Seattle vibes and vibe-N with it! One thing that stood out besides the taste was the lid, it has a more quality covered lid! I'm a coffee girly and I appreciated that! I even saved it to re-use! Save the earth

Delicious coffee! We stopped by here before a day of sightseeing in Seattle. We got here right after 10am on Sunday and there was a one so we had to wait 10 minutes or so before ordering once we ordered, I got their house special syrup. The coffee was good not the most stellar one I've had but I enjoyed it. The baristas were super nice and you can even have them "surprise you" if you want and they ask you fun questions to choose a syrup for you. Cute spot!

My friend and I decided to grab coffee here on a Sunday morning before our sightseeing for the day! There wasn't too much of a line (maybe 10 min wait or so). My friend decided to get the Salty Nut Latte and I got the Mystery mocha. The barista made sure to ask me about any allergens and/or flavors I didn't like. It was cool to check out post alley and the graffiti and gum wall nearby while we waited for our coffee. Very fun vibes. My mystery mocha had hints of cherry and mixed in with the chocolate it was so delicious!! My friends latte was also yummy and subtle but sweet. Really loved this spot and can't wait to return!

Cute little stop to grab a coffee while walking around the market. Love the speciality options! The service was great and my coffee was handed to me quickly after I had ordered!

Loved the vibe here! It's such a cute little shop in the alley by the gum wall, and the employees are so nice and friendly. I ordered a cold brew and was not impressed with the flavor. My husband got an iced mocha and it was also mid.

I love local coffee shops & this was a good one! It took me a minute to find it cuz it's in an alley on the side of the public market place do u have to walk down the alley to get to it! The staff were great, super nice & answered all my questions. I got an iced marshmallow & coconut latte....yum was so good!! I highly recommend this in the cut coffee shop

I needed some caffeine to start a very long day filled with adventure and Ghost Alley Espresso was the perfect place to do it. Since I was still used to East Coast time, we got there really early and had no wait which was nice. This cute coffee facade is located under the main Pike Place Market sign, down some stairs. Do note that the specialty drinks are a bit on the pricier side, but still pretty yummy. The barista who took our order was really sweet. This is like an outdoor coffee shop. There aren't exactly tables, but there are a few chairs and places around that you could find a seat if you really wanted one. It's a great place to grab a drink to walk around with. I loved all the art on the walls. It's also right next to the famous gum wall. They even sell gum! If you're in the area it's a nice place to check out.

A small coffee shop right at the end of Post Alley and near the gum wall. I think it's such a good business idea that they sell gum for 50 cents a piece! Last time I got their classic drink, the salty nut which was delicious. Tried their cold brew this time that is made with their spirit aged beans and was reminiscent of the Starbucks Reserve drink of a similar concept. Service is decently fast with plenty of things to wander around and look at in the meantime.

Unique location right next to the gum wall and only takeaway coffee. They even sell gum for the tourist to put some gum onto that wall. The service was friendly and the coffee was good. They have some specialty drinks like their Salty Nut and SMOG which are popular. They offer all the alternatives milks you may need as well. Would recommend and be prepared for a line as it is popular.

Tucked in the lower alleyway under Pike Place, the coffee came out quick and hot. Salty nut was highly recommended and for good reason- smooth, and not too sweet.

We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
