People kept telling me to visit the original Starbucks well I did and guess what: it's a Starbucks like any other!!:) the only different is that the outside is original and old looking and that there's a long line waiting in front to order looool like there's no other Starbucks around to order hahaha

Standard amazing service and quality drinks. Large space inside w about 10 hightop small tables (no chairs). It is around the corner from the Pike Place original Starbucks but no line here. Pike Place Market and surrounding space are great for a morning tourist experience. Definitely check out the original around the corner for a look but swing by here instead for a minimal/no line experience. Check them out.

This Starbucks is a great location near the Pike Place Market - literally across the sign of it. Friendly staff and service was great.

Imagine a Starbucks without a drive thru, in the busiest part of the city. You walk in and BAMb the traffic rush of people hit you all at once. Lol! This is that famous local, just for that type vibe. I put eyes on at least a team of 7 during my first visit here today. It is also a pretty decent sized one at that. Has the wooden barstool seating along the windows to enjoy the busy, well populated street view of the market. It was definitely a bit of a wait after placing my order, to get my full order. Was about 20 minutes in between me getting my first drink before getting my 2nd one. I did however love the fact that they had the "been there" state cups, which I was able to purchase to add to my collection. My interaction with the young lady at the register taking my order around the 1130am hour. was very pleasant and seamless. This might be one of if not the 2nd largest Starbucks that I have seen out there during my travels. I think this location was established in 2009. If I read the correctly while I was waiting. If ever in the area stop in and get your favorite or in season drink!

There are three baristas behind the counter. One is only taking the order. One is making the drink and another got sent to restock the merchandise. There are lots of ppl waiting and under staffed. I don't understand why they are sending a person to restock. I ordered cold brewed and waited for 20 mins still not having it. You don't send ppl to restock merchandise when you are having full of customer waiting. Worst Starbucks

This Starbucks is always busy, touristy area, not super clean but the staff is friendly. Need a better system for when they are backed up. Twice my order was forgotten after waiting 15 minutes, I asked employee status and my drink got overlooked:( Located across from Pike Place market. On the weekends it gets very crowded. Walk a block or two in one directions and you'll find another one!

A beautiful and huge Starbucks, maybe the largest I've been to. The staff were helpful and our drinks were made to order.

This is the world's first Starbucks and they have kept to the original idea. Looks different from the other regular Starbucks cafes. It is more a tourist attraction with coffee being made on the side. You can definitely chat more with the baristas and figure out what you want. The service is slower. Don't know if that is on purpose to give you time to watch them at work or unintentional. But I've never had to wait about 7 minutes for a tall coffee. Everyone is very sweet to talk to. There are souvenirs that actually look very cool. Good experience and is a must stop. The coffee is just the same though :)

Ah, the original starbucks. As a starbucks addict, I had to come back here. I had been here before but hadn't realized it was a historical landmark until my client said he wanted to see the original one. How stupid did I feel finding that it was this one, one I had been to countless times as its right across from pike place market. There isn't too much of a difference between here and a normal starbucks, except for a small area showcasing some specialty cups that are only sold here. BUT it did say $10 for a cup showing two of em, but the ones I grabbed were apparently $22.95. When she rang me up I was a bit confused as it was over $50 for 2 but whatever, they were nice cups. The service is fast and of course I got a Pike Place roast. Its totally worth going to just to see it!

First and original Starbucks. I think it's something fun to do when you're visiting. On the weekend, I waited 45 minutes to get inside.

Affectionally proclaimed, "the first Starbucks" with exclusive merchandise that can only be purchased from their store (so they say, there's a smaller one literally the next street over by the fish market)! This ain't yo grandma's Starbucks! At any time of the day, this Starbucks Flagship can be seen swarming with tourists looking to get a piece of coffee history - from the extensive line of ridiculously prices mugs, to the typical Starbucks coffee that is served on nearly every corner in America (and now the world). Get yours today!

I drink a lot of Starbucks so it was only fitting that I visit the original, so we did. It is like the Mecca of coffee. I felt honored to pass through the door and actually order from the original. This was actually on my bucket list and now I can place a check next to it. If you are a Starbuckser, this is a no brainer stop for you, they are providing social distancing instructions and ensuring everyone has a safe good time.

My son and I went to the very first Starbucks in Seattle! We had a great time, and everything was good: Good service, good food, good Starbucks drinks!!! He had his favorite Starbucks drink: Vanilla Milk w/Ice! Thank you!!!

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed.
