But it could also be new people who barely started working there. It takes time and I know that. But mostly it is good. After today I will not come to the Selma location. I am a frequent buyer of Starbucks. I've been to several locations here in the Fresno County and by far this is the worst location personally. I witnessed the employees just talking a lot more than making drinks. If they were they were going slower than ever before. I get that you want to talk which is all fine there's nothing wrong with chit chats here and there, but don't let that happen when you have the drive thru long and inside the store filled with customers. Not to mention that the place was dirty not extremely dirty just needed a little touch up. What bothered me the most was the spill of coffee on the counter where mobile orders were picked up and for 20 minutes it was just there not wiped down. I had been traveling, and it was my turn to drive so I suggested we stop at Starbucks to switch. We used the drive through because we had our dog with us and could not take her inside. It's 105 today, so we couldn't leave the dog in the car either. I ordered two vente beverages. Turns out there are not any more vente size cups. I inquired the possibility of giving me two different sized cups to equal the amount in a vente. First, the employee didn't seem understanding. In my preference, a vente is the preferred amount of coffee for the rest of the drive. I felt very unsatisfied to settle with a grande. Finally, we settled with two tall sized cups to make up for the lack of vente size cups. Then, we were handed two grande sized beverages very casually as if there were no agreement. I am very unsatisfied by this. Starbucks is not casually priced! If I decide to treat myself to Starbucks I believe I should get what I ordered. The lack of flexibility when being at fault is disappointing. Also, when I went inside to use the restroom I was also unsatisfied. The soP dispenser had a puddle underneath and seemed to be leaking. There are no seat covers nor toilet paper in The dispenser. The toilet paper was placed on top of the hand rail causally and lazily. I am so disappointed in Selma Starbucks. The past few times I've gone through the workers have been SO RUDE and messed up my drink. They lack consistency and it makes me not want to return. I received my drink tonight with like 2 inches of space between my drink and the lid. AND they completely left out my request for "half apple juice". Not to mention there was NO ONE INSIDE ORDERING OR IN LINE. She basically tossed our drinks in the car and tried to hurry us out. This location really sucks, at customer service. The baristas move slow for a very fast paced enviroment. I was in drive through once and i obviously seen my drinks awaiting ready for me on the counter but the guy still continued to do other things besides serve me. So when he charged me for my order, he brought my two drinks and placed them by the window and still proceeded to do whatever but hand me my complete order. I ended up taking about 20 mins in the drive through for no absolute reason when my order was ready as soon as i pulled up to the window. I usually go to this Starbucks instead of the one in Kingsburg because the line can be super long in Kingsburg. This morning at the Selma Starbucks the barista handed me my iced Carmel macchiato with a ton of napkins. I didn't realize why until I pulled away and realized there was a ton of my drink on my lid. Why would you hand me a drink with espresso all over the outside of my cup? She knew it was there because she handed me a wad of napkins to go with my drink. Poor customer service. read more

On Thursday January 3rd myself and my two sisters went to Starbucks in Selma. When we walked in there was Large Red and White Clearance Signs placed in many areas of the store. I picked up this cute ornament that looked like a little Starbucks Bag, when I went to the counter I was "not greeted with a smile or even eye contact by a young lady by the name of Valerie. I asked her how much the ornament was on sale for, when she scanned it she said it is no longer on sale it is regular price, I asked her why was it with the other Christmas Clearance and her response was someone moved it there? Well from where? That was the only one and how did she know it was moved since there were signs all over the store, she stated if you want to buy it it is regular price. My response to her was, the signs clearly state clearance, actually for the entire wall there were three large signs, her response was, well we won't know what is on sale until we scan it. To me that is very deceiving to customers, she was not interested in my concern or even apologized for the mistake, or even offer to honor the sale price since "someone else must of placed it in the wrong area. I have been going to Starbucks for years in towns all over California and I have to say they have always been a pleasant experience and always greeted with a smile. I will NEVER go to this Starbucks again, I did not appreciate the whispers Valerie and her co workers exchanged as they were looking in the area where we were waiting for our drinks. I'm a customer service manager and have been for over 25 years, Valerie is not someone I would want to represent my business. How she handled my encounter was a perfect example "how not to provide excellent customer service" Just one final note I would of gladly paid full price for the cute little ornament, if only she treated me with common courtesy, looked at me when she spoke or at least have a smile on her face. The cherry on top was a luke warm cup of coffee and no apology, well at least not from her, but the young man that served us another cup of hot coffee stated he was sorry about that and let him know if this one is ok this time. To begin with from the moment we were received TATUM had the most laziest, rude, blah, attitude. Her attitude and demeanor made me want to go back to sleep, instead of having a good morning. She needs to be retrained on her peoples skills. Secondly, before charging me make sure you have the pastries, and if you make a mistake a "sorry" can solve it all, but instead through the refund process all I got was a prideful attitude.
