I come here every morning at 5:45 am to get my morning Venti coffee before my workout session. The place is always clean and ready for business. The staff here are kind and welcoming, even this early in the morning. What I found interesting was that the same coffee that I pay $2.45 in Simi Valley costs $2.25 in Chatsworth. The taxes in Ventura county are cheaper than in Los Angeles county yet the coffee is still $.20 more expensive in Ventura? I don't get it. Anyway, never had an issue coming here. read more

Wonderful location! Great parking. Good service and good coffee drinks. Fun to come and have a coffee and a wrap here on weekend mornings after the gym. I am really hoping they will expand their location to the vacant spot next door!! More seating would be great and business would grow. I'm an addict...I LOVE Mochas... Need I say more??

Starbucks can be hit or miss depending on who makes the drink for you. The last few times I have been there (in different location) they gave me bitter coffee be it in a mocha or any coffee derived drink. Such a disappointment. I told myself let me give it another try so I came in and ordered the Iced caramel cloud macchiato I would have exceedingly loved this drink if it was not bitter. I still finished the drink since the caramel covered a lot of the bitterness but i was sipping the drink with a meh face gesture if you know what I mean. What I loved about the drink was the fluffy airy (as the name says cloud) texture of drink it tastes like cappuccino on steroids ). I loved the caramel taste of the drink as well. Now moving to the simple yet delish sandwich that I have had twice already from Starbucks and I basically think it's full of flavor yet simple. It's the spinach, feta, and egg white breakfast wrap. The combination is very tasty and healthy. I was sad when I finished my wrap because I wanted it to last. Highly recommend it. So would I go to Starbucks definitely for the wrap hence the high star rating but the coffee I have to taste it on the spot and check if it doesn't taste good I am switching it to tea instead :) read more

Worst customer service, my daughter order a drink with the anticipation 3-7 minute to fill her order. After 20 minutes and asking about the status twice her drink finally arrived. Once we were in the car she discovered that they made it wrong. The wear you down so you will just take your drink. This is not the first time this has happened. Good Coffee. Very Accomodating service. I visit this location several times a week. Just like all the Starbucks I've been to this one has consistently good service and coffee/pastries. The employees are always eager to make sure you get exactly what you want. On this visit I purchased a tall coffee and a reduced fat berry coffee cake, which I had to eat quickly, 5 minutes later after gulping it down I went back for a refill on the coffee(which is free if your a starbucks member). So disappointed in the customer service at this location especially since it was concerts in the courtyard tonight you would think that they would embrace all the business that they're getting because of that however they were rude to the people in front of me and they were rude to me as well not even saying thank you or have a nice night stating that they were super busy and there wasn't even anybody waiting in line the person who was handing the drinks over was very short with a lady who had children and asked for a cup of water and she said that they were too busy bee passing out water which is fine but the way that she delivered the message was not you need to talk to your team and tell them that the customers are important and on event nights like this they need to embrace the business that they're getting not look all stressed out over it not happy at all read more

Just went here at 6:40 am. Line out the door, but I'm third to next. Only one woman taking orders. Unbelievable. Caramel iced coffee venti. Asked for cream on the side. Few minutes later, the one other server puts my cream down with other coffees and says a bunch of names. Oooo no, I wrongly grab one and she says Are you Jan, sir? Pfffht, are you trained, you wench? Don't snap at me and think the "sir" makes it okay. You smile for my money during my Starbucks experience. I don't understand how a simple recipe that is a repetitive order daily gets messed up. The simplest of Starbucks drink concoctions is messed up here all the time. You have ONE job. Busy or not the simplest of tasks shouldn't be messed up, especially when you have 5 people in the back making drinks. The worst part of it is that ALL of my drinks were wrong. I always forget about this location, tucked away over by the movie theater(Regal) like it is. Only minor issue, there were not enough tables to go around on this grey, cold day. Alas. My mom & I played gin rummy on a chair, we are good at improvisation. She had her usual zucchini walnut muffin, tasty tasty, along with chai tea topped with steamed milk. I had soy cocoa, and it was wonderful, let me tell you. Mmm. Soy and chocolate is a winning combination. Come here and you shall stay (and be happily camped with your drink/food/ and wifi) or leave happy. The staff are pleasant, as previously noted by almost everyone. read more

One of my more favorable Starbucks locations as the location is situated in a beautiful surrounding area. I come here often however my usual pink drink was once completely flavorless. This Starbucks gets ONE star from me because I came here trying to order a dark chocolate mocha with nut milk & the barista told me that they no longer make this drink because it was seasonal. Despite being extremely bummed I understood... BUT a couple weeks later I was at a different Starbucks, asked the same question & guess what? Best Starbucks in Simi. I've gone to all of them a number of times over the past 14 years but this one gets it right. I go at random times throughout the day and they are quick, efficient, execute my drinks perfectly and the staff are all friendly! This is the only Starbucks on the way to the freeway when we need it on our drive to Orange County. I hate this damn Starbucks but I need it. They LAGGGGGG like no joke. This Starbucks is always in a big hurry to close , the other night I was in with friend the whole floor was very wet from employee , way before store closing hour . It is unsafe when many are walking on wet floor, just one to fall and could have a case there. I love Starbucks but definitely not this one! I have worked in this kind of industry before and I know how crazy it could get! However no matter how busy or how hard it gets you should always have a smile on your face and make sure that the customer comes first! This is the second time that I have gone to this location and one of the workers name CHERYL has been nothing but absolutely rude to either me or another customer! Last time I went in, a customer accidentally spilled his drink and what does CHERYL do.... She gets mad, gives an attitude, gets a mop and tells the customer to mop it up. He gladly does but wait oh no it wasn't good for Ol' Mrs. CHERYL! She grabs it from him and says "nvm I'll just do it". And then today she was just super rude. I have officially stopped coming to this Starbucks. Unless you are mobile ordering, don't waste your time coming in early to beat the morning rush. Every time I am in there before the morning rush, it takes 30 minutes to get my drink, and people that were in line after me long after I was in there were getting their drinks before me. As much as I am empathetic towards the baristas, the volume of customers they get on a daily basis at this location, and the addition of mobile ordering which has added to their workload, there's something to be said when this keeps happening even when I beat the crowd in the morning. read more

This is probably the busiest SB in Simi. The staff is hard working, plentiful and they try their best to get you taken care of quickly. The main hold up here is just not enough space behind the counter for the staff to operate efficiently. They need twice as many espresso machines along with a second oven. Just too busy with the space and equipment they have. There are mornings the line is out the door. So be patient when you come here, it's going to take a little bit to get your drink after you order. 5 stars for the staff, 3 stars for the limited space. read more

My friend and I ended up coming to this location because we were going to the one in Town Center but it closed at 9:30 pm so we ended up at the Tapo location.
