We were craving coffee, searched for the closest coffee shop, and happened to stumble across Makenna Coffee. I remember absolutely falling in love with their coffee and thinking, "I cannot wait until we come back this way so I can get this again!" Unfortunately, I never ended up making it back... until today! We happened to be in the area for an appointment at the Jeep dealership, and when I realized Makenna Coffee was nearby, there was NO WAY I was leaving without stopping. This was only my second time here, and somehow it was just as good as I remembered. Taylor helped me and she was such a sweetheart! I couldn't remember what I had ordered the first time, so she helped me pick out two different drinks to try -- the Sandy Blonde and the Maui Latte. I ordered them half sweet, and they were still a little sweeter than I normally prefer, but honestly, they were amazing nonetheless. I'm usually a black coffee/Americano kind of girl, but every once in a while I get a serious sweet tooth and want something fun and indulgent -- and Makenna Coffee is PERFECT for that. Their coffee is so good, and there's just something about this little spot that I've loved ever since I accidentally discovered it. I only wish I lived closer because I would definitely be here way more often. If you're ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop at Makenna Coffee. It's one of those little gems you're so happy you found.

THE ONLY REASON I GIVE THIS STARBUCKS A FEW STARS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DRIVE THROUGH. This is the slowest starbucks i have ever been to, for NO reason at all. I noticed the drive through had about 5 cars in it so being that it was 6:05am i went inside thinking i could get faster service...i was the ONLY customer inside and after i ordered waiting until 6:15 standing next to the pickup counter until someone finally asked me "what did you order" i was so frustrated and running late for work that i told them to just forget it i was running to late after wasting all that time. They didn't offer me a free drink, refund, nothing. All he said was oh ok have a nice day. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this is a special circumstance. Without paying attention, I sent my mobile order to the wrong store and went to the First and LA store to pick up a drink they didn't even have. When I got up to the window, the nice young lady, I believe her name was Cally (name tag was difficult to read), let me know she would make my drink and get my food item for me without any hesitation. Might I suggest that when in the drive thru,and a mistake is made or people want to add tings to their order,you have them pull forward out of the drive thru to allow other people to get their coffee while it's hot.Last Sunday I was in line 30 minutes,then got the order wrong the coffee was luke warm and the food cold in the middle they didn't even leave it in the oven long enough.I just left.....It's not that hard to figure out,get the manager to sort this out,poor service.I wasn't the only one unhappy either read more

This is solely about the customer service, and unfortunately, another reviewer recently described the exact same experience. The previous team was always warm and genuinely customer service oriented. Since the recent staff turnover, the experience has completely changed. The new baristas come across as though they dislike interacting with customers. Their demeanor is odd and off putting, especially for a customer facing role. This isn't based on one bad visit either. It's happened one too many times and has become a consistent pattern every time I come in. Whether I'm walking in to place an order or picking up a mobile order, I'm often met with blank stares instead of a simple "Hi" or "Welcome." There's rarely a "Thank you" or any acknowledgment at all. It feels like I'm the one providing the customer service by saying hello, please, and thank you- despite being the customer. A friendly greeting and basic courtesy go a long way. I hope management provides additional customer service training or hires people who genuinely enjoy interacting with customers. Coffee shops are often part of someone's daily routine, and a positive interaction can make a big difference. Right now, every interaction feels uncomfortable, which is disappointing considering how welcoming this place used to be.
