Leave it to Starbucks to bring molecular gastronomy to the masses. I had the pleasure of eating a sous vide egg the other day. It was poached perfectly and had a really nice texture. I kind of wish it had been served with some toast. I might just get a croissant next time to balance it out. Even if you don't the two eggs hey serve will give you a good protein punch. They fancy them up a bit with red bell pepper, which is nice too. I really enjoy going to this particular Starbucks. It's one of several drive-thru Starbucks within a short distance of work. You might miss it if you aren't careful because it shares a building with Bank of the West and it's not obvious how to get into the parking lot. If you make it there, you will be rewarded with fast, congenial service. read more

This place keeps disappointing. There's not much to expect from a franchised coffee place, you'll likely get burnt espresso or old iced coffee leftover from the fridge. But to receive moldy bagels is disgusting. They also attempted to fool me when I ordered one of their "signature" holiday mochas and added regular coffee instead of espresso. Some of the staff does not care about their customers or making sure the quality of their food and drinks is acceptable. Also, the location is awful. It is next door to a Popeyes and, although Popeyes is NOT open at 8am, you can expect shady stuff to be happening. I've witnessed several close calls with cars rushing out from behind the store and not yielding to the Starbucks drive-thru line. You're better off going to any other Starbucks. I want thru the drive thru this morning, I ordered a drink and a one pound of Expresso roast beans. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I had been given the wrong drink. I called and spoke with a barista named Trey, he was polite and suggested that he would put a note in a book for me to exchange or be refunded the drink. I attempted to drink the wrong drink, but I am a serious coffee drinker and could not drink a combination of foam, sugar, caramel and a small amount of coffee. I went back to the business, was told by the manager, Noah, that he could only give me the drink that I originally ordered and the difference in price. He was rude, did not apologize for the inconvenience of my having to make 2 trips to his business. I reminded him that it was his employee who gave me the wrong drink . He told me that it was company policy. I know that past practices have been to compensate a customer with a complimentary drink, if they were inconvenienced. I am no longer a customer of Starbucks! Will NOT ever spend any money with them again. read more

This Starbucks is very clean! Drinks are good here, staff isn't as rude compared to other Starbucks, but they're a bit on the slower side. I wish there were more Starbucks as clean as this in my area but maybe because I came early so it was cleaner. read more

This has to be the best Starbucks in Stockton! Everyday when I come in in it only get greater my one employee, but pretty much all of them. It's definitely a great way to start the day. I would drive the extra few minutes just to have this kind of service! They go above and beyond even when busy to make sure you have everything you want and just the way you want it. Starbucks now offers new signature hot chocolate beverages, my favorite being the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. I'm not much of a sweet beverage drinker, but Starbucks really got it right with this one. However, I'd say the salty and sweet concoction is still a little too decadent for my taste. Good thing we ordered my usual Berryblossom White Tea too. Yep, I drink tea because I'm just sophisticated like that :) So quick and friendly service still makes this the best Stockton Starbucks in my opinion. I asked that they calibrate the decaf shots so that my Americano doesn't taste over-extracted or diluted. They did this for me until the shots came out perfect. I love these guys so much. Makes coming here an everyday thing. I'm considering putting a locker in the back so I can bring clothes and blankets and just live there...for free.... Free wi-fi is always a benefit anywhere you go, so I appreciate that. Starbucks is Starbucks, you can expect your coffee the same way at most any one of them, so that's a good thing. This is probably my most frequented Starbucks location because it's on my way to school and close to my house. The people are friendly even though service can be slow. I try to avoid peak hours like the typical breakfast time, lunch time and 5 pm. They always get my order right, and the tea lemonades are always on point! I like that the tea is way cheaper than the coffee. Also I love protein boxes when I feel like splurging. Overall great location! read more

This Starbucks rules! They always have the best tasting black tea, iced coffee and cold brew. The service is wonderful. I have heard people complain about this Starbucks being slow and it baffles me. I don't think their service is slow. There is a Starbucks right by my house that I have stopped going to because even though they were deemed quick, I feel like the quality of my drink has gone down. It's happened where they have handed me the wrong drink, or when it's the right one- it's terrible. Fast service isn't always all that- I would rather wait another minute or two for a tasty drink. The iced black tea is my favorite. It's always brewed perfect here. Their iced coffee is always tasty. The cold brew is my favorite lately. The baristas here are well trained and very friendly. Like Cheers, this is the place where after a few visits they all know your name. Best baristas I've met in 6 states. From the early morning 6 am crew to the 3pm shift I always get excellent service and great coffee. I'm the Iced Venti Caramel Macchiota, nonfat milk, extra caramel drizzle no whip. They have never gotten it wrong but if I change the location I never get it prepared correctly. So to the Baristaa at this location, keep up the great work. As far as Starbucks goes, this is my FAVORITE one in town. Okay, so I may have said the one on Pacific Ave was my favorite already....but I retract that statement! Why do I love this one? AMPLE AMPLE study areas with MULTIPLE outlets! Coming from a student, this is study heaaveennn! This one also has a drive thru for to-go drinks. The staff here is super fun and friendly. I mean, generally everybody who works at all the Starbucks I've visited has been pretty decent, but I'd like to say the staff here is suuuuuper cool! ehh. I don't understand why the employees are so unfriendly. Whoever does the scheduling is also not doing a good job because I went in for a latte and it took them 10 minutes! There was one person doing both drive thru and the front register and one person doing the drinks. I saw another person cleaning, but why weren't they helping the ever growing line? I heard someone ask them for help and they said no. wtf. Customers should come first. This is the BEST Starbucks in town. Not only its convenient for me and my husband, they just know how to make our drinks perfect! Their sausage egg muffin is also good but a lil pricey. The staff is very friendly and I never had a problem with their customer service. They are all about making the customer happy. If you don't like how your coffee tastes you can get a new one. (That should go with all starbucks stores) We have a reward card with them and I tell myself why I didn't have one a long time ago. You get a free coffee on your birthday. Went in with a friend and my grandkids. Customer service was great and they were so very attentive and patient with my grandkids who were ordering for themselves. Erica was very hospitable and made us feel comfortable. She had a very friendly, sweet personality. We bought a couple water bottles for the grandkids and she washed them and filled them with water. Well it's the closest starbucks on my way to work so I'll keep going but I hate the fact that I ALWAYS HAVE TO CHECK MY ORDER before I leave :/ When my drinks are made correctly it's good, staff is usually nice, drive throughs a plus, clean. It just really sucks to have to go back, multiple times, to get the drink you actually ordered. So today for example was a triple drive thru because they got my order wrong. It wasn't even an "off the menu secret item" No offer of a free drink or nothing. I was pretty patient. Maybe they only offer those to belligerent customers they need to get rid of. read more

This is a great Starbucks to go to if you're in a rush! Their barista Emily is so kind and always compliments me, every time I go in there she ALWYS makes my drink PERFECTLY (Match green tea frappé with 5 pumps peppermint, 5 pumps mocha, add 5 frappe chips, extras whip, in a venti cup, extra ice, double blended!!!) The drive thru wait here is never less than 15 minutes, & that's why I give 3 stars. (I've waited 20 minutes more than a few times). So I only go here when not in a hurry. If you have an extra 30 minutes to waste going through a drive thru... Then THIS is the location to go to. Went here yesterday...sat in the drive thru for a little over 30 minutes. I could see a couple of the cars In front of me hand their drinks back and initially thought it was picky customers. However, when I FINALLY get to the window the guy tries to hand me the wrong order. When he realizes, he closes the window and I proceed to wait an addition 5-7 minutes. Seriously ? Obviously there is a lack of training with the guy working the window to the people making the drinks. They need to have a turn out so you can exit the drive thru when it is taking way too long...what if I had an appointment or something to go to. The Drive thru is supposed to be fast and convenient. To top it off, you do nothing for the customers inconvenienced by your obnoxiously slow service. Have a nice day doesn't cut it. read more

Very convenient location, ample parking except the space close to the building due to its configuration, close to other restaurants and other business establishments. It has plenty of seating for both indoors and outdoors, fast easy access WiFi, clean bathrooms but needs supplies sometimes. I've come here during early morning rush hours and surprisingly service is efficient and fast even their drive-through. It's in a quiet strip mall in its own building. Overall service is very satisfactory with friendly and capable baristas and crew considering I've been to Starbucks in several countries in Europe, Asia, MiddleEast and America. One small hiccup though which spoils all the good reviews I just mentioned. I came there few hours ago on a Sunday hoping it's quieter than regular working week days. Cool audio playing in the background while I was on the computer then this loud, screeching laugh and occasional screams from one of the staff. Don't get me wrong, I understand I'm not in the comforts of my home. But this female black staff was very loud and distracting. She's very personable though and I observed she's warm and cordial with their usual customers but her screams are just too loud. If she can tone it down and be aware of her surroundings. My last 4-5 visits to this location- they were out of the roast turkey sandwich box every single time! I always go in the late morning or early afternoon, so they should still have some. When I ordered one of my favorite drinks, the woman who took my order at the drive through tried to talk me out of it, saying nobody really likes it. The employees at this location are the most stupid. I had to repeat myself three times for a sugar plum Danish then again for the espresso drink. It takes real intelligence to be successful at something you do each and evetyday albeit woth a limited menu to diminish any further challenges to a diminished skillset. At the drive thru window Mr. Skinny-nobody-who-has-to-wear-head-to-toe-black-to-work dropped part of the scanner and had to hit it in order to get it working again. And his attitude reflects some delusional grandeur that only something like him would be aware of in a place like Stockton. read more
