It's listed so small on their giant menu and the different kinds of muffins or donuts aren't listed so you have to ask... which is annoying. Especially when you have a 4yr old demanding a certain type of donut and you have no clue if they even sell it! Also I've tried a few of the "fancy" drinks here and I haven't liked a single one. Their iced tea isn't as good as Dunkin either and since that's just down the road, I head over there. The staff is friendly, I'll give them that!

The interior is reminiscent of cafes we visited in Italy: clean lines, good lighting, elegant tile and wood accents. It's a stylish place, with comfortable seating indoors and around both sides of the exterior. Service was very friendly and responsive. I did try to order a country biscuit (since there was one displayed in the pastry case), but was told they did t make them. The barista told our counter worker that there were some in the fridge/freezer but that didn't find one for us - disappointing, but I didn't really need it anyway, and did just plan on getting a coffee, but still... You can tell a lot about the quality of a coffee shop from a basic drink of either hot or iced coffee. The iced did not disappoint! It's robust without a hint of over-roasting; strong but not bitter. The large is a generous size, and the cup was coffee with a bit of cream (and not the reverse as happens in a few places). So, no star deducted for my missing biscuit. I'm looking to coming back to try that biscuit AND a breakfast sandwich - they looked amazing when I saw them being served up at the counter!

They're closed Mondays which is par for the course for many Whitinsville eateries. One of the differences between this new location and the original is that they serve lunch! They have the absolute best sandwiches. The turkey bacon ranch was delicious and their homemade chicken salad is fantastic, too. Everything sounds delicious - while I haven't had it all yet I plan on working on it. The ONLY downside to this absolute gem is that they don't take call ahead orders for food. Which is SUCH a bummer because there's 4-6 people at work who would order every week if we could because we love this place so much. But our lunch breaks are short and needing to drive there, place everyone's orders, wait for them to be made, and then go back to work takes the entire break, if not more if it's busy. I thought she was asking me about my rewards stamp card, so I responded, but she never acknowledged that my phone number had gone through. It turned out she was actually talking to another customer, leaving me standing there talking to myself. It felt inconsiderate and made for an awkward experience. The drinks are decent, but they're Herbalife-based products, so there's nothing particularly unique about them. Customer service and making guests feel welcome are what really set a place apart, and unfortunately that's been consistently lacking during my visits.
