Although a lot of their drink options sounded delicious, I went with the iced Maria Maria. I got the opportunity to chat a bit with one of the Marias and she was very kind, along with the other two team members. The prices are average, with my drink coming out to about $6. One disclaimer is that I don't drink coffee much, so I can't speak about the quality of the coffee taste but overall I loved the drink, mostly because it wasn't too strong or sweet but did have a very creamy taste. In addition, they do add a Maria cookie, which is very nostalgic for me. Although the line was very long, they were very efficient with just 3 people and do get our orders at a timely manner. The sandwich was incredibly good, especially the BOM sauce that was a little spicy. The sausage was thick and well cooked, and the veggies tasted fresh. The bread was very good too but I wish it was slightly toasted (next time). My drink was good. It was not sweet at all, which the cashier did prepare me for, but it still tasted good to me. The milk and coconut cold foam made it very creamy and the coconut flavor was very present throughout. We paid around $20 for the sandwich and two drinks which is fair. They have a drive thru window on the left side of the building, with the line wrapping around the back of the building, with plenty of parking in the front and back for dining in.

Let me just say, they nailed it! It's fresh banana, sweetness from the caramelized taste but not overpowering, and such a great sweetener to balance out the espresso. The Iced Blueberry Vanilla Bean Float Latte also stood out and is worth a try. The blueberry, again, tasted very real and you can tell they make all their syrups in-house. Same with the vanilla bean float which is basically a vanilla cold foam on top which added some sweetness and creaminess to the drink. I'm sure those bakers question their life. These baked goods look like the bakers put time and true methods to achieve the level of a quality baked goods. Take for instance their pain au chocolat. Simple, yet elegant with a classic golden hue. Brown Bee, I commend you on your mad skills. My wife and I stopped in for coffee. I see a great line up of coffee choices: Halva Latte, Pistachio Latte and a Bee Latte made with cayenne. That sounds a little too on the wild side so I ordered two Spanish lattes. Made with condensed milk, smoked chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt, this is perfect for a cloudy afternoon. I also order a cookie to split between us, a Brookie. The lattes were perfection. The sweetness from the condensed milk and the smoked chocolate gave the drink a nice balanced flavor. The Brookie? Fudgy, chewy and the right amount of chocolate made this an afternoon delight. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up!
