Worst Starbucks horrible service, only went because my daughter had to use the bathroom, so I ordered a venti banana matcha 20 minutes later I requested a refund .. yes 20 minutes.... drive through EMPTY and they ignore the in person orders to process the online. A couple of days ago I went with my two toddlers to go get a croissant, a cake pop, and a drink for myself. When we got there we noticed that the store was closed due to plumping issues. I stood outside with my kids because my son was having trouble understanding why it was closed. Suddenly a barista (I didn't catch her name) came and opened the door to offer us a complimentary croissant and cake pop for my kids. That was so sweet of her to do and my kids were so happy. Today is another tax day due to some weird extension by IRS, making financial professionals like myself busy again... Caramel Brûlée Latte to the rescue from my favorite Starbucks on Normandie and Carson. Love this location, parking is plentiful due to being part of a bigger lot, enough tables to usually find a seat, drive through is convenient, the staff is friendly and prompt. Seating around for some time, I've seen difficult situations arise here and the manager and the staff handles all of it without a blink. Feel safe coming at all times by myself. read more

The staff here are always friendly. The drinks are consistently good, and the shift Melanie is great/amazing. I hadn't been in to the store for a while and she recognized me by name as she handed me my drink. Pure amazement on my end. I read someone leave a bad review because there was no milk/sugar being placed out. If that is reason enough to leave a bad review it's customers like you that give other customers a bad rap. There are a LOT of chairs here. They're all over the place. Practically own the place. Outlets, however, are not found in places I've chosen seating (apparently). There are a LOT of chairs though. Have I mentioned that? Potentially the highest amount I've ever seen in a Starbucks; there's one long table in the "living room" & 2 bars with medium-sized chairs. Then there's the ultimate pursuit of happiness. The 3 chairs underneath abstract/shapes-things (contemporary?) art & below - the trio, the low-rise but wide "chill chairs." And plenty of room outside too! More tables than a handful! Cute little wire chairs. Ample shade, choices in the sun. Oh the coffee? That's why you're reading this? Came into this Starbucks a couple weeks ago; that wasn't my first time, but I also hadn't been to this location in months... possibly a year. My last interaction with this Starbucks was average. Although, to my surprise, a barista remembered me and told me it was good to see me again. The service from this worker, Heidi, was absolutely outstanding. The store was busy, but as I continued to observe she greeted every customer with a genuine smile and I couldn't help but notice this chick remembers everyone. She knew faces and names and customers orders. This kind of personalized, cheerful service really makes a difference and shows a true love for the job. It's the small things like that that turn a simple coffee run into a great start to the day. Thank you, Heidi, for your fantastic attitude and excellent customer service! I used to go to this Starbucks when my grandfather was living in Carson. This was before realizing there were two others near the Carson Mall. On top of that, two more opened up in his last years of living in the city. One on CarWil and the other next to Carnegie Middle School. Anyways, my review is about the rude service from staff. I was going to use the bathroom at Jack in the Box, but I was freaked out by a homeless woman at the bus stop across the street. I went to Starbucks to use their bathroom. As I asked them for the code, this rude man (pictured with the cowboy hat) cuts in line having known the code. I told staff how rude it was for him to cut in line like that. They halfheartedly apologized for this. I managed to take a picture of that rude man and talk about how rude it was of him to cut people in line. Never again. Recommendation: have staff escort customers to the bathroom like at Crenshaw and Rosecrans. read more

Overall for a Starbucks in a location such as this it is pretty good. I just started working in South Bay so I come here to kill time before going to the office. Staff - Awesome everyone is nice and friendly here at least in the morning crew when I go. Cleanliness - It's pretty clean and it's not overly crowded in the mornings at least for seating unlike some other locations I often go to. When I lived here, I always went to this Starbucks because they were always so nice........HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED! The 2 girls working the drive through were miserable and it showed! They made my coffee with a splash of coffee and full of milk. I parked, got out and asked if they could just add some coffee to it but the girl said they would remake it. Seen some low reviews. I've been here couple times and never had a problem. Service was always good and my drinks always came out good.

7:30 am Friday morning and we ordered an oatmeal and hot milk for my son. He didn't get brown sugar or a spoon and it took over 5 minutes to get someone's attention. There was also no paper towels in the dispensers. So we had to wait again to get those. They weren't as busy as they usually are. Stopped by again 12:30 on a Saturday and the place was bumpin'. I have always drove past this location but never stopped in or drive thru cause I always stopped at another location along the same route which I did stopped by before coming here and the other location had no parking cause the lot was full and the drive thru line was backed up so I left and did my errand and on the way home stopped at this location.
