I went in to get my $3 coffee as it was clearly stated on my email and app. I went to the Starbucks in Redondo Beach and the young lady had no problems honoring my incentive. However, the man at this store was not having it. He didn't care that I had all the proof that I needed to get my coffee. He rather throw the coffee that I ordered than to honor it. I began REALLY not wanting to be wasteful with tossing ANY disposable cup(s) as I have a "Method" to my Quad espresso DrankY Drank ;p With that being said, the "For here" cup is AMAZING. One of the associates recommended this after I shared my waste concern. I then purchased a personal reusable cold cup to fill with ice to then..... pour my perfectly SUGARED shots over. Super simple, you're thinking........ NOPE... so many StarBeeZ get this wrong and it has become my Achilles heel, SADLY........ This location is nicely tucked in a corner within a shopping center. This Starbucks location is super cozy and warm! The staff makes you feel welcome and at home! I absolutely enjoyed my experience. While the location may be slightly out of my normal routine I will be making a point of adding it to my regular stops. Tommy was a breathe of fresh air and such a positive happy light. He handed bakery items directly to each customer and was sure to greet every single person even while busy. Mikayla was just as friendly and warm! She was inundated with orders but that didn't dull her sparkle. They were both so amazing. While this was the first week of their fall items, they were on it! Busy as ever and a smile on their faces! this is my second time at this starbucks and you can tell they get busy in the mornings and their mobiles stack up. they hold it down tho. Very smooth store layout for cafe and mobile drinks, friendly staff and good seating inside the lobby, which was very cleani ordered a tall matcha latte and the baristas made it perfectly. i didn't catch the name of the barista who made it but 11/10 very fast service thank you guys. The only reason I will give this Starbucks a 5 Star is because Tommy is always so sweet and energizing. I come here for coffee quite often very early in the morning. But please teach your barista to be professional. It's one thing to be late on the drinks... I don't wanna hear your excuses or free bottle on how I should order earlier. 20 minutes for a coffee order when you're really slow is more than adequate. Just make the drink and stop talking. I used to frequently come to this location due to the positive environment and the efficiency in terms of ordering. For the past few visits I've noticed service and quality of the drinks has gone down. I don't mind paying extra for add on's like vanilla syrup or cold foam. I'm dissatisfied with how my drink usually is missing either the syrup or lack of cold foam. Very unpleasant to see my usual store no longer serves as they originally did. read more

Egg bites, just thrown in the bag, not in their tray. The plastic fork wrapper stuck to the hot eggs. When I asked for an appropriate container/tray (so I wouldn't have to turn the bag inside out to get to the egg), I got an attitude from the chubby guy (sorry, didn't get his name but he was tending to the foods - not making drinks). He held up I visit this particular Starbucks consistently and they've been very friendly however, this person was just rude at the audacity of me requesting a container for the meal that my eggs should've came in - after all, it's not a doggy bag. I have frequented this place numerous times over the past 2 years and each and every time I go they are nothing but wonderful. They cheered with me when I got my first pumpkin spice latte of the fall season. They always make my drinks in a timely manner, they never get my order wrong (knocking on wood), and even when i go there for a mobile order, they never fail to say hi and bye to me on my way out the door. I was in the area last weekend and decided I wanted a quick breakfast. Big guy at the register was kind of rushing people through (it wasn't busy, guess he had a date). So he takes my order and I'm expecting to see my sandwich in less than two minutes because they warm it in a microwave. After about three minutes, two more people walk in but get their hot sandwiches right away. When I speak out, the big guy says it'll be just a minute or something. So he disappears in the back and returns a minute later. After placing something in the microwave, he calls my name and wishes me a good day. At first, the sandwich tasted OK but not like $5-6. Then I taste something unfamiliar. Why this white stuff is on one side of my sandwich is a true mystery to me. Now, the factors make it easy to figure but I didn't get a sense of racial or gender bias, and I've never been to that Starbucks before. So why was I served such a strange-looking sandwich? Few years ago, I reluctantly had to give up drinking coffee due to doctor's orders. SIGH!! Ever since then, going into Starbucks has been very hard for me. The coffee smell drove me insane. It's been about 5 years and now I can go in without craving coffee TOO much. Few years ago, I discovered how good the iced tea was so now I am back to coming to Starbucks more frequently. I frequent this location mainly because its closest to my work. The reason for the 3 stars is that the place is tiny and it fills up very quickly. So, often times there is no place to sit. Also, it seems to be busy a lot, at all hours. I think they might need to hire more employees. Often times, it takes forever for my drink to come out. Aside from that, this place is a typical Starbucks. One I will continue to frequent even though there is no place to sit and the business. For anyone who wants a cool beverage, they currently have the mango black tea. My other favorites are passion tea and peach green tea. I normally have my drink with lemonade. It's perfect for a cool drink on a hot day. read more
