As an FYI, at 4pm, this place is PACKED with people. When I was here, all of the indoor tables were taken up with students, or people exhibiting student-like behavior. I am literally obsessed with the Starbucks at Utica Square. I have been spending weeknights and weekends here for the past six years. The location is unbelievable! In the Winter, you have a great view of the Utica Square lights. In the summer, there is lovely outdoor seating with fans and shade that keep it nice and cool in the Tulsa summers. There is a decent amount of seating and plugs available along the booths and walls. If you're lucky, you might catch a flash mob, father-son novel writing project, or a marriage proposal like me! The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the customer service. I generally have a great experience at Starbucks, but I have frequently encountered unreasonably slow service and baristas that are less than kind. I recommend using the app to complete a mobile order. The location and atmosphere more than make up for the lack of friendliness from a few members of the staff. Decided to head to Utica for girls day since my daughter is home for the week from grad school! We LOVE Starbuck's holiday drinks and they are such a treat on perfect days like today! I recommend getting the Peppermint Mocha, it's SO yummy and literally tastes like Christmas in a cup! You can take your perfect hot beverage and go shop at your favorite stores (that's what we did!) It's a full service Starbucks with the Clover brewing system. The staff wasn't particularly friendly and the interior wasn't particularly clean. I cannot stop coming here. In fact, my two year old knows the Starbucks logo and gets just as excited to "go to coffee shop." I'm certain there are those who are reading this and thinking, "Man, she's a sh***y mother." Probably. But when you're a mother, you need coffee. Yes, it's the busiest Starbucks location in the state. Yes, sometimes you do have to wait in line if you didn't put in a mobile order. But really, not that big of a deal. The baristas know me now as "Gabe's Mom" and write it on my drinks. They sometimes let my son get a free apple juice because "he's so cute." And when I had an especially rough morning after a long night of a toddler sickness, the manager took pity on my tired eyes and dark circles and told me my usual unsweetened iced coffee with soy was on her. Bless her dear soul. I think their customer service is on point. It's why I always come back. That and it's within walking distance to and from my house. And, like most Starbucks, the entire place including the bathrooms is very clean. Thumbs up. read more

If you're into feeing like you're in the hub of events, this Starbucks is great for disappearing into for a while. There's always a good amount of people inside but never hard to find a sitting spot. That said, it is one of the busiest to order from. The staff is great and I haven't he a problem, but you're chance of coming and having to wait is pretty high. read more

Though it is one of the busiest Starbucks locations in Tulsa, the customer service is amazing and they keep you updated as to where your drink is in line. They sometimes have issues with the register but it seems like a higher-up issue. The baristas seem to work as fast as they can even under the high pressure from some of the not-so-caring customers. I love coming here. It is definitely worth the wait! read more

Great starbucks location but you shouldnt go after school lets out! There a a couple schools close by and this is the place for all of them to go after school! I'd venture to say that this is the most popular Starbucks in Tulsa. It is usually busy, but they get you in and out pretty quickly. The patio has lots of seating and is great for people watching. However, at peak times it is sometimes hard to find a seat. This is my go-to Starbucks because of the location! Love it! read more

Although the workers were phenomenal and trying their best to keep up with the load, we had an unusually bad experience at this location. We ordered and waited 45 minutes before finding out they didn't even have our order in the line and had already paid. Instead of offering to add it, they just said, "sorry". This had obviously happened to tons of people as there were easily 30 drinks left on the counter left by customers who had already given up. It was kind of odd and again, we felt bad for the workers who were drowning in orders. However it appeared something was wrong with their ordering system. I can't help but wonder if this was a managing issue. I have worked in a coffee shop and know it can be stressful. I truly felt bad for these employees. There was a larger issue at hand and it's not fair to them if this was a system error or a lack of personnel. Either way, I hope they have figured this out! read more

I waited over half an hour to get two of my drinks. After realizing that they probably forgot my order I waited back in line for another five minutes to ask about my drink. The barista promptly forgot to check to see if my drinks are being made, and went back to helping other customers, at which point I just had to walk over and ask the baristas if they were making my drinks or if I was just waiting for no reason. I eventually just had to tell them I would come back and get my drinks at a different time because I was in a hurry and waiting over 40 minutes for them. Would not recommend the store. The only thing not to like about this Starbucks is that it gets busy at peak hours. Other than that, it's terrific. The padded bench seats are wonderful for studying, and has outlets at your feet. Plus, it closes at 10:30, which is 30min later than most Starbucks in the area. Maybe not a big deal for most, but huge if you need that extra time. They have a new "Clover" method of brewing coffee, which is cool I guess. If you're not a big "subtle notes of..." kind of person, then don't spend the extra money. All in all, a good shop in a good place. If you're too cool for Starbucks, or want a shop that's open until midnight, this isn't the right place for you. read more

This Starbucks is a hit or miss when it's slow they get your order right away but anymore the 10 people in line with orders and they're gonna lose yours. On many occasions I've seen people waiting for over an hour for their drinks and not wanting to say anything because the employees are rude. A great example of this was a public conversation between employees i heard. "I don't know what's more disturbing the fact that she ordered eggnog and lemonade or the fact that she waited over and hour and a half for the drinks". Not to mention the constant excuse that someone else took your order when you watched the entire time. I'd rather be told it was skipped then be told a lie to my face. It's sad to see this go on when I know not much will change. read more

Horrible service, rude barista, never announced drink was ready, cup 60% full and rude when I asked to check on my drink

There is 3 workers here, only one is making drinks. Her name is Emily and she's doing an AMAZING JOB!!! her co workers however, are standing around while she is rushing to get multiple drink orders in. The service here is horrible, and the amount of time it's taking is horrible as well. The other two employees are not helping her, and she seems stressed. If you're going to have a franchise, make sure your workers are actually working and not standing around eating on the job. read more

I made it back into to try the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from the Amber Estate brewed in the new Clover Brewing System. Now to find what my taste buds say about Blue Mountain brewed in the Clover. I ordered a venti size black with room to add extras if needed (cream, flavors, sweaters ect). The votes are starting to come in from all zones of my body that are effected by a great cup of Joe. The result are pointing towards the same out come as the first time I enjoyed Blue Mountain at Abbey Green farm a few years back "don't add any thing to this cup it's prefect black". The Clover brewing system seems to be the real deal. The Blue Mountain coffee was true to form with a nice smooth coffee flavor with a hint if chocolate and slight citrus under tone the aromas from the brewed coffee where intense, relaxing and satisfying. I need to go now I have a cup of off charts coffee calling my name. read more

Found a new favorite hot chocolate, the salted caramel hot chocolate. It was busy, but the lines went quickly.

I usually come to this location when I am in town vising relatives. It is always busy but they do a good job of moving the line quickly. The only suggestion I would have for them is to start putting the name of person on the drinks rather than just announcing the drink. I saw several drinks taken by the wrong people or some that came up missing. Just makes extra work for the baristas and the wait is longer than necessary. read more

Clean but unorganized. I am not really a fan of Starbucks coffee, but when I travel, it is the easiest brand to find and recognize to get a cup of joe. The layout on this store was horrible. There was so much confusion about the line, we didn't know where to get in line to order, or if people were milling about waiting for their orders. Worst Starbucks experience I've ever had! Will never return to this location. Ordered via the app and planned to pick up outside via the to go window. When I arrived the window was closed. Inside was packed with many people not wearing masks properly (not at all a safe environment). I approached the online order pick up window and saw part of my order clearly labeled with my name. Eager to get out of this nightmare store, I reached for my order and was yelled at by a barista to "not touch other people's stuff because that's how Covid spreads." First, I would never touch anyone else's items and second fomite transmission is actually extremely low with COVID. A simple sign stating that customers are to ask for their orders would be helpful (many other stores are set up where you grab your order yourself). The experience was so horrible that I left without half my order (despite having paid). This location does not have room for proper social distancing and given the current COVID numbers in Tulsa, should not be allowed to operate without the outside to go window open. read more
