I feel pretty neutral about this store. It stays busy and the staff just don't seem too friendly. As someone who was a Starbucks partner on and off for a very long time, I get disappointed when I see partners not creating a third space. They do a fine job with the drinks. I'm not sure when this Starbucks got remodeled, but they did a very nice job. I find it to be very modern looking and there are some very comfortable small round wooden 2- seat tables with comfy-ish wooden chairs, a couple of round hightop tables with bar height stools, in the area near the front corner of the store ate four upholstered chairs arranged in sort of a circle and then along the parking lot wall three small round tables with one or two upholstered chairs at each table. Behind the counter they've used Subway Tile on the walls and the lighting is even and uniform. My biggest beef is that normally I just order plain coffee and in order to do so you often times have to wait quite a long period of time before you are even able to place an order. During the time that I was here there were only two employees behind the counter one was preparing the drinks, the other one was at the counter taking orders, putting bakery items and sandwiches into the warming ovens etc. I think it must've taken me at least 5 to 8 minutes just to place my order for a tall Pike. read more

I went in yesterday for red cup day! I love red cup day! I look forward to it every year. I went in early and ordered online. My order was waiting for me when I arrived and the barista was very friendly when I asked for the red cup. I got the caramel brûlée latte and a pumpkin loaf. Starbucks is in a shared location which means shared parking around the building. This location was recently remodeled and updated, it also has lots of windows which makes it feel bigger than it is. The service is always good at this location and normally there isn't a long wait if you order in person or your drink is ready if you ordered on the app in advance. This Starbucks location is on the smaller side, but also all Starbucks are pretty cozy in size so maybe it's not actually that much smaller than any of the others. This location doesn't have a drive through, which was interesting to notice because I was starting to think that every location had a drive through at this point. So now I know that's not true haha. It's also in a cool spot because this location is on brookside. When I went in, I was a little surprised that there weren't more people there. It was really just me and like one other person who was basically walking out as I was waking in. I just figured that with this being in a busier/ popular location and with it being around 530 (aka: post regular work hours) that it was more empty like that. However, I was glad that this was the case because I was really hoping to get in and out pretty quick, and because I was the only customer, I did!!! It only took probably less than 5 minutes between when I places my order and when I walked out. For those few minutes of waiting, I sat in one of two small sofa style chairs. They also had about 5 little two person tables, 4-5 bar stool seats, and one slightly larger table that's for 4 people. So compared to other locations, the seating options aren't as many, and not as many comfy options. I liked how two of the four walls were mostly windows, although it did feel a bit exposed at night (when it's dark out but the lights inside are on so it's really easy to see everything inside). My order was correct and good as always! That's all I really have to say on that... Overall a fine location but not necessarily my favorite just compared to others. read more

Almost all Starbucks locations are consistently awesome with great service, very clean stores, and unmatchable beverage and food choices! This location is great for any time of day situated in heart of Brookside. As always, the blueberry muffin and strawberry acai refresher were delicious. Not that I always get the same things, but I don't think I've ever had anything here that wasn't awesome. I was particularly impressed that both of the restrooms at this location were gender neutral. Not that it particularly affects me, but I am really happy to see places doing this with their restrooms. Also, it means if someone is in the "women's" bathroom I don't have to wait anymore or feel awkward about using the "men's" especially since they are the same things: toilet, sink, etc. Very cool. This might be something at all Starbucks now, I don't know, but this is the first time I noticed it. Kudos Starbucks. Keep up the great work Starbucks! read more

This Starbucks location is perfectly placed and friendly! It is down the street from my house, and directly on my route to work at St. Johns medical center. It always has people outside on its patio, and you can tell that they are familiar with their regulars. Its parking lot feels kind of small, but it is Brookside after all. The people who work here are friendly and work very hard to keep up with orders, and there are almost always a lot of orders unless it is midday on a weekday. They are also very kind when it comes to keeping customers happy. (Ex. I mobile ordered a pumpkin scone, but they were out. The barista kindly suggested a pumpkin muffin instead, and I was just as happy with it.) There is this one girl who works there who always greets people when they come in, even if it is for a mobile order pickup. I don't know if she is a manager(she should be), but she never fails to tell me to have a good day even when I just run in and grab my coffee quickly. This location has not failed me when it comes to the consistency of the quality of the drinks I get either. Some other Starbucks' are hit or miss depending on who is working, but this place consistently gives me good cold brew. The ONLY thing that could make this location better is a drive-through, but that seems kind of impossible based on its location. The people at this Starbucks are AMAZING! I had my 3 week old twins in the car and (for obvious reasons) I NEEDED COFFEE!! I called and explained the situation and they were happy to work with me to bring my order to my car so I didn't have to try to juggle two car seats and my beverages. Four stars to Starbucks. A disappointing fact I came across today was they discontinued sugar-free caramel and sugar-free hazelnut. Currently they only have sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free cinnamon dolce. I hope Starbucks reconsiders and brings back more sugar-free options. Other than that, our barista, Abbi, was very delightful and good for conversation. She's fantastic. She made an excellent decaf sugar-free cinnamon dolce with heavy cream latte. read more

That's right. I'm giving this Starbucks 4 stars. This location always impresses me with their kind staff and efficiency. With a Jimmy Johns across the street I've found a routine in grabbing a sandwich and coffee to go before hopping on 44 to OKC. But really, the baristas have it down here. They seem to be genuinely kind and are certainly always helpful. Have you ever been scared to ask for a cup of water at a Starbucks? You won't be here. Inside there are a few tables usually commandeered by people who come to catch up. This isn't a spot I would recommend to come get work done as the wifi is pretty slow and it's a bustling grab and go atmosphere in general. This is a rant in regards to service and nothing more... Hey. It's Starbucks and they are a dime-a-dozen. So, in the grand scheme of things, the only difference between the myriad of locations is service. Now, if you have read any of my previous posts, you know that I despise coffee as a norm. (I am a tea drinker by choice.) Well, after having such a good experience at Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans, I thought I would give coffee a try and I chose Starbucks. I mean 1 billion locations and about that many customers can not all be wrong. Right? Well, unfortunately, the nearest location to me is the Brookside location. I have been there 3 times and it is now an official strikeout. I have lost count on the number of huffs, rolled eyes, snarky comments, and overall faux-superiority that I feel like bitch slapping each and everyone in there. Do not forget, I have only been there 3 times! Geez... No one should get that kind of treatment from a bunch of snarky teenagers. ... Oh ... Dear God! I have turned into my father! Oh the humanity... Oh [insert whatever statement you like!] Now that I am officially an old curmudgeon, I would rather go get my prostate checked than ever step one toe into the Brookside Starbucks ever again. Just in case, I have been to both the Utica Square location and 51st & Harvard location. Both had extremely helpful staff that greeted me with a smile and took the time to answer questions from this coffee neophyte. I appreciate that a lot. I mean... Come on... The Brookside Starbucks could have had a repeat customer for life if they would not have found my questions such a pain and bother. (And no, I made sure not to ask the difference between X and Y when they were busy. I am a turd, but at least I am a respectful turd.) I really enjoy this store because it's so much bigger and I can come and chill out without feeling like I'm on a NY Subway!! LOL! The staff is really nice and they know their stuff!! They also have a wide variety of stuff to blow your cash on located on the shelves like coffee cups and coffee extras!! Lots of fun & relaxation at this store! Warning: This Starbucks does not handle mobile orders. When you enter, you must ask for your mobile order. Then the barista will check the mobile order machine, find your order and it fill it. And that's if there's not a line. When you ask why this has happened to you the last 11 times that you have been in this Starbucks at 36th & Peoria in Tulsa OK, you'll at first be ignored then finally the barista will tell you, with a really creepy smile, that he doesn't know. Drink was terrible too, so obviously I shouldn't have said anything. read more

Definitely not my favorite. Two different baristas are hyper-vigilant and one let her overly caffeinated personality get the better of her judgement re my order. Too, no announcement was made when an order was waiting for me: I had an almost lukewarm coffee. There's no business card as to who the manager or owner is. I like the big expansive windows!
