Staff are friendly, and have almost never had issues with ordering in person, drive-thru, and mobile app!

I spent about 2 1/2 hours studying here and can't help but hear how loud the staff is. They have no professionalism and talk rudely about their coworkers and customer complaints using very inappropriate words that shouldn't be used due to the lack of professionalism and sounding vulgar. We all talk about rude customers... the only thing is they are doing it loudly in front of other guest. Stating that they aren't sorry and don't care about a drink being messed up and that they think a coworker is unfair and a _________. I'm sure you can imagine. I am sitting quite far and can hear their conversations. The only positive things I got from this is that they are open later than the Starbucks I normally go to. Tip for Carmen ur a shift supervisor so I think you should set a better example for your staff that you are in charge off and that gossip in front of customers is not very nice. read more

I have never had a negative experience with Starbucks until this morning 1/7/22. I waited in line from 30-40 minutes this morning due to others waiting (and also not knowing) that this location does not open until 8 AM on Fridays.... The display of this information was completely ineffective as this time not only did not reflect the "Open" hours online gave, but the placement of the new time was located at the pay window...... so people were waiting to get their order taken and after so long just left.... I don't understand the negative reviews for petty ridiculous complaints. This place is one of two stores I go to when I need to get out of the house-- I work from home and sometimes I just need a change of scenery. Staff is awesome. Typically I go through the drive through here in the early mornings and the staff is hit or miss - sometimes they are friendly and sometimes they are rude but no matter what, my drink is usually made wrong and they always hand out drinks with the drink spilling out under the lids. Today I went inside and I wish I hadn't. They again, made the drink wrong (put whip on it AGAIN even though I always ask for none), and handed me the drink with the frap spilling out under the lid. I told them it was supposed to be without whip, and they offered to make another drink. I didn't need a new drink, just wanted them to scrape off them whip and maybe pour into a new cup that wasn't covered in the drink. But okay, they made a new one which was nice, but then when they hand it to me...there's about two inches at the top that was empty. Seriously? As I walked out, I stopped at the little condiments station and it was disgusting. Coffee and half and half spilled everywhere, empty Splenda packets and straw wrappers strewn about, sugar spilled all over, etc. I looked around and at least half of the tables were dirty as well. And the manager was just sitting there - taking her break. Nice. The new Vacaville Dutch Bros location can't open fast enough - I'm done with this Starbucks!!! read more

I usually only end up going to this particular Starbucks because it just happens to be on my way home and near places I go to often like the gym or Costco. But I wish there was another more convenient Starbucks to go to, since this one always takes fooooorever. I don't even go during peak hours and I still end up waiting sometimes ~15minutes or more for my drink. And it's only an iced drink too! I've tried the drive-thru out, but that usually takes a while too. Also, I've learned the hard way that when it is busy, never ever ever park in the parking lot directly in front of the store. The line for the drive-thru extends and winds all the way back there and you will literally be sitting in your car for quite a long time until that line dies down. read more

Most UN-FRIENDLY Starbucks staff ever!! Would it kill them to smile!! Not to mention their exasperated tones and body language when I asked for a cup of iced water after I ordered my coffee! This is my third time sitting inside this Starbucks. The miserable staff acted the same every time! I kept coming back, thinking maybe they were having a bad day but that doesn't matter!! You don't bring that attitude to work!! I'm very passionate about customer service and in my line of work I interact with people all day long. Had the most interesting experience at the Starbucks on Peabody this morning that is so different from the norm. First, we purchased a tumbler/travel mug from the "Clearance" rack and it came up at the regular price. We asked if it was on sale, and the response was something like, "No, we don't have anything on sale right now." Our overall order was about $53. As our order came out, we received everything except my wife's tall decaf. So as one of the workers handed me out warm sandwiches, I simply said, "I'm still waiting on a tall decaf." This is where I was totally surprised by the response I received, which was, "That's not my job." I would expect, as a customer service based response, something like, "Ok, we'll have that out for you in a minute." Or "I'll let someone know." Last thing...the person who said that coffee wasn't her job had one job (according to her) which was warming food. The sandwiches we had warmed were burnt. So if she had one job, she needs to learn to do it better. read more

Probably one of the worst Starbucks experiences one can have. Made a mistake to come here in the morning today. The drive-through was so cramped with some 8 cars in the line that I decided to go in and test my luck. Of course, the situation was not any better as the line was to the door... Ok, so I decided to wait since driving to the other SB location would surely make me late to work. The line was moving so slow that it must have been 10 minutes before I was able to place an order. The funniest thing is that even though there were about a dozen people in line, they only had one register open. At the same time 5 baristas were hanging out by the espresso machines in the back, serving the drive-through I assume. Due to all that I just settled for brewed coffee instead of waiting another 10 minutes to get my espresso drink. As for the coffee it was okay but not worth losing 15 minutes in line. And yes, I did make it to work....barely. Lesson learned. read more

They were much nicer today. It might have to do with the time, but the baristas were very friendly today! The new cashier is a moves at a slower pace than what I'm normally accustomed to at other locations, but I appreciate that the lady cashier here is really sweet. This drive thru location is pretty much central to everything. Freeway access, Costco, schools, etc. The baristas are not friendly at all. I am your loyal starbucks customer and I do come back here because of location, but if all possible, I avoid it. The lines are ALWAYS long, and the same for the drive thru. To avoid such lines, I always mobile order but still find myself WAITING even past my estimated time. The baristas never acknowledge mobile order customers even when they see me standing there looking for my drink. Let me just say that this is the first encounter with terrible customer service, specifically with the barista Josiah. I asked for a vanilla LATTE and he proceeded to make me a drink with ICED COFFEE for the base. I am not the time to really complain when I get my order mixed up and I like to avoid conflict. I let him know that I asked for an iced latte, and then he said that I mentioned that I want an iced coffee which I never did and my husband was with me and he even heard me say that I wanted a latte. He then proceeded to add milk to the drink, and I went outside to drink a bit of it, and it was just too strong for me, so I went back in and I let one of the other girls know if I could just get it remade. Josiah came over and said that I wanted an iced coffee which I never did and basically was just saying that I was the one to order it wrong and that she was gonna let the other girl barista do it because he also specifically mentioned out loud that he doesn't remake drinks more than twice. ( unbelievable, right?) unfortunately, I did not get the other girl barista's name in which she was super kind about it and she let me know to walk her through the order of making my drink, and I appreciate her for it. He's lucky I'm not one of those customers who literally lashes out on anyone for the simplest mistake. But seriously Josiah, you should learn to take some etiquette classes. read more

Today I purchased a water bottle and ask the barista to please put a hot chocolate for my granddaughter.I got to work and transferred the content into a cup and a paper wet from hot chocolate came out too! then i started to rinse the bottle and more papers came out !‍ unbelievable! I cannot believe that a barista would just put my drink inside a brand new bottle without rinsing it! Knowing a kid will be drinking from it ! This is my least favorite Starbucks in Vacaville. The attitude of the employees is very annoying. When I'm paying $5 for a very easy drink and I ask to replace it (because it's incorrect), lose the attitude. And I ordered correctly but the drive thru worker heard differently she said. Oh well! You screwed up. Fix my drink and it's not a bug deal. I get the drink a second time and it's still incorrect. A cold brew with vanilla cream on top. What's more simple than that? Everytime i have came to this location i have had a decent experience. Today though my mother and I were highly disappointed with the service of a young woman with oink and purple hair. She had the worst attitude. When pulling up to the window we asked if there were any turkey and stuffing sandwiches, and before we could finish asking she cuts my mother off to dryly put "no we're out." Certain she can hear us talking about how unbelievably rude she had been taking our order and helping us at the window so far, her voice get chirpy "here's your drink!". And then shuts the window without a "thank you" or "goodbye" or anything.
